DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. At one Time, they were a reputable and decent online clothing supplier. Within the last year, however, they seem to have quietly folded and done a midnight runner. Rumours abound online as to what happened; some people say they had a fire at their factory in India, others say the owner is actually running a new company with a slightly modified name and website. Regardless, eShakti Is still trading online, and taking orders and charging people for clothing that will never arrive. Please do not order from them anymore.

J’ai fait des dizaines de commandes chez eux depuis environs 6/7 ans mais durant l’année 2023/2024 c’est la descente aux enfers! Baisse de qualité, des promotions étranges, des délais de livraisons non respectés et de plus en plus de photos de produits fait par IA. La cerise étant ma dernière commande faite en février 2024. Je les aient relancé 5 fois par mail. Le délais de livraison à été repoussé deux fois et plus de nouvelles depuis juillet malgré deux relances. J’ai tenté un litige PayPal en août mais j’avais dépassé les 180j de délai. J’ai lâché l’affaire déçu. Eshakti ce n’est plus ce que c’était. Gardez votre argent.

I ordered July 8 and still don’t have the dress. My account indicates the dress hasn’t even been put into production. I have sent messages through their website and have had no response. Today I called them at the number on their website and the phone number is not in service. I sent an email to the address in my email confirmation and it bounced back. I decided to look for recent reviews and found out that my experience is the norm now. What was an amazing company, no longer is. I filed a dispute with my credit card company today.

Eshakti does not deserve a one star review.They are far worse than one star. I placed an order for denim dress on February 25, 2024. Seven months later, I still do not have the dress. When I sent an email inquiry, the response was that denim was backed up. I asked for a refund and never received one. No one ever contacted me.I tried to call and their number is disconnected.The company stole $76.50 from me and I received nothing. Do not order from them.They could not be worse!

This is the 2nd time I have ordered a dress from them. It is the 2nd time I have NEVER received my order. The status after 6 full months still says processing. The customer service people say the material is delayed, on back-order. DO NOT ORDER FROM eShakti! I question if they even have a company at all.

Until recently I could count on Eshakti for great clothing options. My last experience has been one of several disasters. I ordered 4 items. One item was overstock, and did not require creation. They sent the WRONG overstock item. I sent back and requested a refund multiple times. You cannot get a person on the phone, and on the few occasions I received an email response, weeks would transpire and a great run around. To date, I have not been refunded for the incorrect item I returned. After much back and forth, I was refunded for the 3 items that were never created after waiting 3 months. Eshakti has declined greatly in the last year. Very sad

I have ordered from eshakti in the past with a good outcome, but this time, heard nothing after the order was processed. Months later, after multiple emails and international phone calls where I was sent to an automated message, we received an email saying the fabric was no longer available and we could cancel and receive a refund. I requested a refund. They advised it would take up to ten business days, but nothing happened.

More emails and international phone calls to an automated message and I put in a claim to my bank.

I received a refund from the credit card through the bank.

I ordered a dress March 20, 2024. On April 30 I heard from them that my order would be delayed due to fabric issues. It is now September. I have used their email contact system, and called their number and left messages inquiring about my order. No response. In the last few weeks the message at their phone number is that the number is "temporarily not working." My special event is in October and I have no idea if the dress will arrive or not. I have requested my money returned, since I don't have the dress, but no response still.

If I could have chosen less than one star, I would have. This company takes your money and you never hear from them again. I ordered a dress, never received. I emailed, messaged them on their website, and called continuously for a couple of weeks. Nothing. I've cancelled my order (via email) and requested my money back. Nothing. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I still waiting my refund since june 28th 2024 when they wrote me telling that they will refund my money in 7-12 days. (More than 2 months waiting).
Terrible experience!

I ordered in December 2023 and still do not have my order. I have contacted them four or five times and got responses the first two times no offer of refund and something about fabric. Now that order has disappeared from my order list and they won't respond to me at all. I am so disappointed because I love the other stuff and services I have gotten from there and was hoping this was just a mistake reading these review I can see the company I was using is not the same.

I placed an order Feb 24, 2024 and when I hadn't received it at the end of March - i reached out and they said it was almost ready to ship.

When I still had not received it by end of June - i reached out again and they said they were going to reiumburse me.

I have followed up now 4x and STILL have not been reiumbursed ($180) and they stopped responding by email AND the phone number is "temporarily out of service".

Placed in order in April for an event in July. In May I asked for an update. A week later they responded with a general response about fabric being out of stock (apparently for all 3 of my items). No update on the timeline. I emailed a month later, same thing. A couple weeks later I realized there was no way it would come in time, so I requested to cancel my order. They didn't respond. I requested a refund. No response. I emailed again in July, still nothing. Luckily I paid through PayPal so I filed a claim through them and they gave me my money back ($251). I loved this website for dresses and I'm really disappointed that they've apparently tuned into a scam. Do not order from them, they'll just take your money!

I ordered a shirt and a dress two months ago and beyond the automated confirmation email, I have not heard anything from them, no explanations for delay, no cancelling the order, absolutely nothing. They used to be a good reliable company that produced wonderful clothes, and now they are awful.

I used to really like eShakti for their customization options, especially as someone who has short legs and can't really order pants elsewhere. I ordered quite a few clothes in March and still have not received it as of August 27th. The customer service has been unresponsive. It takes weeks to get the fabric quality issue email with no recourse.

Placed an order for a customised dress (High neck cotton knit sheath dress) on the 06/28/2024. After 2 months and multiple failed attempts to contact them, I had to dispute the charge with paypal for a refund. Would never order from here again.

Eshakti are criminal.
They were forced to give a refund after 5 months without any product but only gave a PARTIAL refund!
They’re deceitful and steal money from the customers.
No communication and when you finally hear from them they deceive you with excuses.
DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING
YOU’LL NEVER GET YOUR GARMENT.

returned a dress, did not receive a credit, emailed called and messaged with no response. very frustrated

I placed a custom order in march 2024, and never heard a word for over a month. When I e-mailed them about my order, I was told the fabric was on backorder. In June I cancelled the order because the fabric was still on backorder. It is the end of august 2024, and I have been calling them for 4 weeks and sending e-mails, and have gotten no response, just a answering machine. I have NOT received my money back and am worried I never will. This is NOT a good or reliable company!

STAY AWAY FROM ESHAKTI
The company is going under, they'll take your money and you'll never get your order or a refund.

eShakti used to be awesome. I ordered many dresses from them over the years, and nevre had a problem. They had great pricing, well made clothing, and decent turnaround times. Apparently things changed after the pandemic.

I placed an order for 2 dresses on April 2nd, after not having ordered from them since early 2020. My confirmation email said my order should arrive to me in 4 weeks. 4 weeks came and went, and now we're in mid-May. I tried to contact eShakti through their website, through email, and through the phone. No answer to the phone and no response otherwise.
I eventually filed a claim with BBB and finally got an email response from eShakti.
They claimed they were having issues with fabric supply and claimed my dresses would be made soon.
In the meantime, I found the Reddit sub and saw that everyone else was having the same issues. Everyone was getting the same excuses, dresses weren't being shipped, customer service was terrible to non-existent, and people were having to initiate charge backs from their banks or file claims with paypal to get their money back since eShakti wasn't sending out the refunds they promised.

My order finally started along the production process (or so the website said) in late June. I needed the dresses for Wedding events in August, so I assumed I'd have them in time. I was reading some people were getting their orders, it was just taking months. I was willing to wait, but when it became clear I wasn't getting the dresses by August, I started getting anxious. The dresses showed that they were made and in the shipping process. They sat in the ready to ship stage for 3 weeks. No one would respond to me about when they were going to ship, so by the end of July I asked for a refund. They said they canceled my order (because they could respond to that, but never responded about when my order would ship), but I waited weeks and never got a refund. Finally after a lengthy investigation with PayPal, I was able to get my money back in mid-August.

Please, safe yourself the trouble. Do some research and don't order from eShakti.
