I ordered two dresses in March 2024 and since then I have gotten nothing but vague responses to my requests for status update and finally no response at all. I paid customization, shipping, and state sales tax.

I have filed state and FTC complaints as well as with BBB. I am also trying for a chargeback, but it has been several months now.

I have a positive history with eShakti orders and it breaks my heart to write this review. I've been ordering for over 10 years and my order at the end of 2023 was slow, but not this slow. So I gave them another chance.

Absolutely, horrible and nonexistent customer service. I was supposed to receive my order 2 weeks ago and when I look at the progress of my order it states it hasn't even been made. No one answers the phone or returns your calls or responds to emails. I want the order cancelled, and get my money back. But I cannot reach anyone.

I purchased a beautiful dress for a wedding I’m going to in Italy. I was so thrilled and excited. I purchased 4 months in advance. After multiple attempts to contact customer service by phone and over 20 attempts with online requests for updates, I received one update that the material was sent back, not up to their stands and the dress would be ready in a few weeks. It never showed. I requested a refund. They never responded. I had to file a dispute with my bank to attempt to recover my money. I’m just so frustrated and disappointed. I read other reviews before purchasing. I think this is a scam site and DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING FROM THEM!

They were great before COVID, but the order I placed in March 2024 has still not been delivered nor refunded. I just placed a refund request through PayPal which I hope will go through.
Do not order from eShakti. I am not sure the company exists anymore.

Very sad. I am a repeat customer but my most recent experience has been abysmal. I purchased 3 items back in late March, the email confirmation I received said delivery would be in 4 weeks. After 2 months I heard nothing from them so sent an email. No reply. They don't answer their phone. Numerous emails later I finally received an update that one of my items would be sent 'soon' but their was a issue with the fabric of the other two so they were delayed. This was in JUNE. It's now August and I haven't received anything. I've asked for the order to be cancelled and refunded several times, no response. So frustrating

An employee of eshakti has stated that the company has closed on a different blog. DO NOT ORDER.
I am still waiting for an order put in March. The order before that took over 3 months to be completed.
I love this company. It was my go to company for years. So sad to see that it is dead.

I customized a dress for my wedding, in what was supposed to have been plenty of time for it to be made to order and shipped. I made the purchase, and received an order confirmation but no updates since then. They’ve sent me info on other products I can buy, though! I cannot reach anyone by phone or email.

I have been a big fan of eShakti - the quality of the clothes and the customer service were great…WERE. My most recent order (placed 5/27) hadn’t arrived by late June so I followed up (several times) and was finally told that it was a fabric supply issue for one of the items (ok - I can work with that) but my request for add’l timing and why the other item couldn’t be sent fell on deaf ears. At least 4 emails later, I asked to cancel the order (which did get a prompt response!) but after several weeks the credit has not hit my account. I have left 2 messages and sent at least 5 more emails with NO RESPONSE. I agree with another reviewer that it feels like the ‘wheels have fallen off’ and they are hemorrhaging.

eShakti is no longer operational as a company, but will still take your money. There are items I ordered in January which I have not received or been refunded.

I have placed an order on 30th December 2023 for 2 dresses and 1 dresses was delivered with a delay of 2 months. For the second dress they mentioned issue with fabric and no WTA was provided. Since February 2024 I have been requesting for refund, no response on refund nor delivery.
However, I ordered 2 more on 15th July 2024 and the order was updated stating Delivery before2nd Aug 2024. And I am still waiting on my order. Sent multiple emails,no response. They don’t answer phone calls either.
This is very pathetic service, very frustrating!
I do not recommend eShakati anymore. Very bad customer service.
The site isn’t allowing for negative star, hence giving 1 star. This company doesn’t deserve any star.
Cheating customers.

I ordered a dress on June 3 that was supposed to be delivered in 2-3 weeks. It's now been 10 weeks and I still haven't received it. I'm moving out of the country and will no longer be able to receive it even if it eventually shows up. I've tried contacting customer support multiple times. They take weeks to get back to me and try to fob me off with vague excuses. Unacceptable. Just cancel my order and give me my refund. This used to be a great place to buy clothes but it's degenerated into a deplorable scam now. Shut it down.

Its been 3 months since my order and there is no update nor they respond to calls or emails. So frustrating. Save your money and do not waste on this company.

I placed an order for 2 items from them on Mar 2nd. I did not request any customizations in my order. In June my order had still not been fulfilled and the order status was still at pattern creation. 3 times I requested my order to be cancelled both on line through customer service and telephone messaging (phone went to voicemail after on hold waiting for a representative for some time). My cancelation was processed and I received an email assuring me a refund would be issued at the end of June. It is now August 8th and I have not yet received the refund for $277. I have made numerous attempts to contact and request my refund with no response from the company.

DON'T ORDER. I ordered in January for an event in MARCH. Item never came. Asked for a refund, thought I received it, I didn't. Ordered 3 items in June, never received it. Asked for a refund. Never got it. Placed a dispute with my bank. There is a blog with a former employee explaining what is going on with this company. Really sad. I wanted to redo my work attire. I received two other orders in 2021 and 2022 with no issues.

I work customer service, and I've ordered from eshakti many times, so trust me when I say sharing this gives me absolutely no pleasure. I think this company is dead or dying.

I started noticing delays with my orders in 2023, but at first I assumed it was just growing pains. Now, after placing an order in May, I still haven't received it. I tried calling customer service at the two month mark, and after a minute on hold I was sent to voicemail--as someone who works CS this is a signal that the department is inundated. I emailed and replies took over a week. They said fabric was backordered and my order would take another five weeks. Well, I wanted the clothes so I decided to wait, but that date blew past and there were still no updates or changes to my order status.

Finally, after contacting them for a refund and getting no reply, I decided to file a dispute with my credit card company. In my experience disputes often take about a month for a result, either positive or negative. Well... less than 24 hours after filing a dispute I had my money back. In full.

I don't know what my credit card company knows that I don't, but I am telling you it is NOT good. I am so sad, and so sorry that a company I loved has deteriorated so thoroughly. I hope all the eshakti employees--if there are any--are ok!

This used to be a great company as recently as 2023. I placed an order in Feb 2024 that I never received. I requested a refund a few months later and received a reply saying the refund was approved, but never received that either. I have sent several follow-up emails, no reply. I have given up hope of getting my money back.

Ordered a dress on 3/25/24 , it's now 8/5/24,and still no dress. So 😞 .

This website is a scam. Someone needs to seriously take a note and bring this site down. Placed order in May and still not received my order. 3 months so far and I have sent many emails. They just don't respond. I don't think I will ever get a refund either. This is what they said few months back.

Not delivering, not answering for months already. Be aware of this. There are alternatives such as Sumissura that are reliable

I ordered almost $500 worth of clothing in April with a 2-3week lead time. I received an email 3weeks in saying a fabric was defective which would delay my entire order instead of making and shipping what they could. I sent multiple emails asking for an update with no communication from them. Almost 8weeks in with no communication and no product, I sent another email to cancel my order and requested a full refund. They finally responded on 7/1 stating that they shipped two pieces (which I never received) and that I was to receive a full refund which I have to date never been refunded. I have submitted a complaint to the BBB and this will be one of many reviews I leave. Do not use this company. They are crooks.
