Still no response from an order placed months ago. How can we get them shut down so that others dont continue to give them money?

Do not order from them. I ordered a dress from them on 6/15. The website finally shows that production is finished but they haven’t shipped it yet. Calls to customer service (which I believe is based here in the U.S.) go unanswered. Same with emails. I have ordered from them in the past and was always satisfied with my purchases.

I’ve now read that they’ve closed down. I guess my only recourse is to file a claim with my bank for goods not received. The only problem is that I used an “in-store” credit for part of the cost, and I guess I can kiss that amount goodbye.

I ordered a dress on 5/8/24, it was still not delivered on 7/8/24. It's almost a month later and I have not received my refund. Do not order from them. They have terrible business practices - said they were having trouble with a fabric lot due to covid, which ended over 2 years ago. Bad business; I do not recommend them.

Eshakti is an absolute scam, after 5 months I still never received any of my items. Little to no communication. Disgraceful customer service. Eshakti stopped replying to my emails. Thankfully I lodged a case with PayPal and PayPal gave me a full refund. Do not ever purchase from Eshakti.

Asked for a refund in May. It is August and have not received it, even after getting my bank involved. I asked for a refund because I ordered a dress in February and never received it. This company is a scam.

I have been ordering for the last few years. Over 40 items. Loved most of the pieces. Only sent a few back. Many compliments. Since Dec, all of my items have taken few months to receive. Always get the same excuse about fabric issues. Last order was May 10th, still not here. I stopped recommending them because of the delays. I wish they would get back to their old ways, I would continue to order, and would tell all of my friends.

Terrible customer service. Unresponsive. Claim they sent a package to me but it was not delivered to my house. They refuse to refund me.

Horrible experience with this company. Placed an original order for two dresses and they did not fit, so I sent back and the company would ONLY issue a credit. Credit was for 145.00. Eventually I decided on two other dresses and applied 117.00 of my 145.00 credit for them. 8 weeks went by with no dresses, no updates and no communication. I finally filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they would only issue me a credit of 117.00. I insisted they return to me my entire 145.00 and they are still insisting on only crediting me 117.00 total (not even acknowledging the other 28.00 I spent). I am also convinced they are going out of business or bankrupt because this is happening to other people as well.
Stay far, far away from them!

Months went by with no communication and no delivery. I emailed for explanation. Finally received a reply that there were supply issues. So I waited longer. Still nothing. So I asked for the order to be cancelled and refunded. They agreed but one month later I have not received a refund or response to any further emails.

Ordered 3/1/24, never received in time for the wedding i needed the dresses for on 4/26/24. On 6/3/24 I asked for a refund but today on 8/1/24 I still do not have my money refunded. They responded to my cancellation email within 2 days yet they will not respond now to my multiple emails to get my refund. This company is the worst i have ever had to deal with and they are a sham! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

I am trying to place an order. The web site says they are unable to process payment due to technical difficulties. My previous order took several months to process, was incomplete and I asked for and received a refund after a long wait.
I am concerned the company is going bankrupt. Does anyone know anything about the current status of eShakti?

The company was taking about 2 months to ship my order and it was still in the creation phase. I asked for a refund and they said it would be sent but after another 3 weeks it is still not on my credit card. I'm disappointed because it looked like a cool concept but don't be deceived like I was...

Ordered a dress that I paid for. Was told later from eShakti that fabric was not available. I cancelleld my order and never received a refund. Contacted them many times with no responds.

Order confirmation said it would be delivered in 3-4 weeks. That time came & went with no update & no response to emails.

Took several weeks to get a response. Finally told me they didn’t yet have the material for the order. So I asked for a refund, which they said they would provide - that was 3 weeks ago. Still waiting.

This company has become a fraud. I ordered from this company back in 2023 and loved the items I received and was able to return those that didn't work. I would have highly rated/recommended this company. However, I went back to purchase this year (2024) and am experiencing a nightmare. My purchase was made March 2024. Order was accepted. In May 2024 I realized I had not received the items purchased and that there had been NO communication regarding the status and/or delays. I contacted them and they said there was a "quality issue" and my order delayed. It's now July and there has been no further communication from them and I still don't have my order. I contacted them in June and they have not responded. Basically seems like they are ghosting me, taking my money and not delivering my goods. I'm super frustrated and disappointed. Ultimately I just want to cancel the order and get a "REAL" refund (not a credit for merchandise that I'll never receive). Buyer beware as this was once a great company, but something has changed over the past 12 months :(

Would give negative stars if I could. I’ve ordered before but this time it is a nightmare. I ordered in February but eshakti has issues with fabric suppliers. I cancelled in March. Several emails and phone calls with no response. I was promised a refund in April. Still no refund, no response nothing. So frustrating. Now the company name is changed when you call the phone number. It says OVERFLOW. I think they are going out of business (maybe bankruptcy) and I’ll be a casualty of their demise.

I ordered a dress in March for a wedding I was planning to attend in early June. According to their reported shipping times, that should have been more than enough. HOWEVER, time passes and I had not received tracking information and the order status doesn't update from Step 1 for months. I've emailed, I've placed help tickets from their website, I've even called and have to leave messages and not once, not ever do they respond or reimburse me. Thank goodness I bought through paypal so these people can't rob me.

This company is no longer trustworthy, will not fulfil your order, and will not refund. After having great experiences with this company for many years, I purchased 3 dresses again in Dec 2024, assuming they would fulfil their 20 day delivery time as usual. Months later I had to cancel my order as it was clear they would not be filling my order. After multiple emails they agreed to refund. Months later I am still waiting on my refund and they have not replied to multiple emails over this time seeking payment.

How do you pick 0 stars? I ordered dresses over 5 months ago and never received them. I requested a refunds and have yet, after several requests, received a response. NO refund d yet. Super disappointed as the clothes are top quality BUT the service is just non- existent. Will never order again.

Wish I had read reviews before ordering! Same story everyone is getting - delayed order, 'fabric supplier trouble,' and now I'm sure I won't get a refund. Will wait for their response and the timeframe they state and then will dispute with my credit card company. Thank you Trustpilot!
