Won't unlock cable - no helpline
Work installed one. After a month of it not being set up correctly I finally managed to charge my car using it. I finished charging, released the cable from my car, but can't release the cable from the charger. There is no helpline or customer service so now what? I just have to leave my type 2 charger at work for the weekend and hope that someone can fix it on Monday. I would write expletives about it but can't
Koop geen EVBox!
Na 2.5 jaar een EVbox Elvi (kosten rond de EUR 1000,-) aan de muur te hebben, is deze plots gestopt met werken. De reden is dat de simkaart in de box gestopt is met werken. De klantenservice geeft aan dat deze box dan weggegooid kan worden (goede duurzaamheidsambities dat ze hebben, not..), en geven me alleen een link naar de offertepagina om een nieuwe te bestellen. Mocht iemand twijfelen om nog een EVbox aan te schaffen, hoop ik je met deze op een ander keuze te hebben gebracht.

Ma borne disfonctionne aprÚs 3 ans dâutilisation. Candide je contacte mon installateur "isiohm" qui ne répond pas. Alors je me tourne cers le support fabricant Evbox. Je dois dire que le prise en charge est bonne, communication rapide et guidance correcte.
Au bout de lâanalyse :
"L'équipe technique est revenue vers moi concernant votre chargeur aprÚs analyse des logs disponibles. La solution de baisse de courant à la sortie de prise n'ayant pas fonctionné et que le problÚme persiste, cela signifie que le problÚme est physique et vient de la prise du chargeur, qu'il faut changer.
La borne en question n'était plus garantie depuis le 31/07/2023, nous ne pouvons pas faire plus et nous vous invitons à remplacer la borne.Â

Ils m'écrivent "il s'agit malheureusement d'un problÚme connu sur ELVI" car j'ai un problÚme de puissance. Cela charge trÚs doucement. Donc fuyez ce prestataire ! Ils sont nuls !

Arrived at the hotel and decided to put some charge in the car. First was surprise the only 7kw/h charge available. But anyway as I was going nowhere till the next day decided to put some juice in the car..not to much the charges are not even that affordable..you probably would expect a bit less than the fast chargers but no. Plugged in the car to the box and had to create an account (nothing strange till here). Account created, tried to log in. Password or username were wrong...tried again and again and again the same..maybe made a mistake and put a wrong digit on my password..let's reset. All change tried to log in the same happened again and again and again. So choose the option of guest. Card details in and car to charge. So far ok. Not happy as I could not control much as guest and was unable to get an invoice but could be worse...and it became worse. (Have in mind that they hold a â¬25 deposit that is used towards credit ane amount not used will be refunded...I hope still waiting). So anyway, went back to the hotel checked after 20mins if all was charging and all seemed okâŠvery slow but ok. After one hour decided to check just again and to my surprise my guest profile had disappeared. No where to be found. So I had no idea how much was charged so decided to go back to the car and stop the charge (through my Kia app). To my surprise the car did stop charge when I presses stop charging and the cable from the car was now free....but...not from the machine. I tried to pull and nothing...so because their support only works a 9 to 5 job...I've went back and tried to submit as guest again to see if could release the cable from the machine...another â¬25 were taken or "hold" as the customer service team says.(But if you don't give back you take you are not holding...) but cable still not getting released. I went back to the hotel to ask the lady who was responsible and explained the situation and she was really lovely as she said she could release the car from the machine by her system (happy days, imagine if it was not in a hotel and there was no one around? Definitely I would have taken the cable and the machine...)
When the lady from the hotel asked for the machine ID I showed her picture and she said that none of those IDs belong to the the machine. I did remember that the ID that was showing in I plugged in was actually different but could not recall and could not see as my session had disappeared. Not that would be much of a brainer for her to see which charger was once my car was the only one in there.
So next day I decided to contact customer support (the only way I found find was chat with an assistant in their app). So the first agent I've contacted was nice he even spoke on my language (although was not an option and I had to choose English and no issues with that)..so after explained everything that happened and about the charges and the issues i had with the app I get an answer of "the app is not our issue is another company"...WHAT???. I told him politely that I am contacting them throught their app through their "chat with an assistant" option so the app is definitely their issue. Not mine their issue. I didn't went to an website and contacted them through THEIR app.
All got sorted with him or so it seemed. Went back to my account and at this point I've noticed a few charges from EVBox. And because I don't like people messing with my money I've decided to contact them back. And from here there's no way up. The attitude of the customer support girl is one of the reasons the world is all messed up. As I always say is not what you say is how you say and definitely she has no manners.
Went to a point I asked to speak with a manager as I could not actually find a number to contact them directly and her tone change but no solution for me how to make a complain about this all ordeal or in regards to a manager.
Although she did say she would come back to me (that she did) her attitude on her last email also was not the best. I've explained to her she gave me the wrong information (and told her to go back to the char scripts to see) and once again she dismissed all I've said to her and told me to contact my bank, although her company is still holding my money.
So yeah. Avoid this company. There are so much better charging stations out there.
To have in mind that at no point a manager contacted or I was given a chance to make a complaint...

Dramatisch slecht bedrijf, service? Dat kennen ze niet. In eerste instantie maanden bezig om het beheer van de laadpaal naar mij zelf toe te krijgen, hier 3 maanden mee bezig geweest. Daarna vragen gesteld over mogelijkheden, beloftes gekregen dat ik een reactie zou krijgen, helaas. Via de chat geen antwoord op mijn vragen krijgen en telefonisch al helemaal niet bereikbaar.

An update on our trapped cable - Hoburne maintenance staff were magnificent, they knew exactly what to do - turn the power off to the charging station, which releases the cable.
And the response from all the various approaches for help to EvBox??

What an awful company, can only suggest you avoid.
Currently at Hoburne Bashley holiday park, with our car plugged into an EvBox charger which will not release the cable. Helpline phone number on the box doesn't work, help page on the app gives you a help number that isn't answered.
Wish I had read the reviews on here before I started, it seems that with such a huge number of negative reports this company is the pits.
We plugged the car in yesterday and eventually got the charging started. Wasn't easy, the instructions in the app are useless, but after about 20 mins the charge was under way.
Finished charging and tried to end the session. The app gives you a help page which says log in, go to Station Management....an option that does not exist!!
We left the car plugged in overnight thinking that the help number would be answered next morning - wrong.
We're leaving the holiday park today, would appear the only option is to abandon our cable and leave it behind.
App is really naff
Tried to down load and set up the app, just appalling, added to this the reviews were a mix of repeated failures and stuck cables.

Bizar hoe slecht de service van EVBox is. Er wordt een actief ontmoedigingsbeleid gehanteerd bij storingen. Na montage heeft mijn nieuwe Elvi een communicatiestoring met de back-office. Na twee maanden bellen en e-mailen, ontvang ik continu dezelfde melding. "we zullen het doormelden naar de technische afdeling. Zij zullen contact met u opnemen." Dit gebeurd vervolgens al twee maanden niet. Uiteindelijk 6 telefoongesprekken getimed hoe lang het duurt voordat de 1e lijn opneemt. snelste tijd 16 minuten, langste tijd 45 minuten...

Wij hebben een nieuwbouw woning gekocht met particulier laadunit EV box. Ik wil een laadpas bestellen maar kan helaas geen contact leggen met EV box en daardoor m'n auto niet opladen. Weet iemand of je ook andere laadpassen kan gebruiken op particulier laadstation?

Anderhalve maand met een defecte laadpaal te kampen. Laadpaal staat publiek beschikbaar aan een commerciële organisatie. Na ettelijke telefoongesprekken met de klantendienst, mailverkeer etc. wordt geen oplossing aangereikt. In een twintigjarige professionele carriere spant jullie onkunde de kroon. Ik zou niemand aanraden ooit met dit bedrijf te werken.

Wat een waardeloos bedrijf is dit. Ik heb een tijd terug zakelijk een laadpunt laten plaatsen via EV Box. Vervolgens word de installatie door Coolblue verzorgd. Na installatie was het niet duidelijk op welk platform het laadpunt aangesloten zou worden, EV-Box of Coolblue. Na een tijdje op het platform van EV-Box gedraaid te hebben stopt het laadpunt er helemaal mee en geen van beide bedrijven kan (lees wil) mij helpen dit op te lossen. Ze geven elkaar de schuld van het probleem, sturen mij van het kastje naar de muur, en lossen beiden niets op. Als je op zoek bent naar een laadpunt zou ik even door zoeken en hier zeker niets bestellen.

Home after 5 weeks abroad, charger will not start, leds are blinking red. Seems that Evbox has disactivated my Charge Card.
No response from their support, phone not answered neither in Norway nor Netherlands.
