Was an easy transaction

Was an easy transaction. I was very apprehensive, never sent a large box interstate and as the seller refused to pay for return, Fast Courier made it easy, quicker than Australia post.
I am very impressed :)

Scammy Company

A deeply unprofessional company. A quote is a quote, not an “estimate” you get to reinterpret after the fact. Changing the meaning after the work is done is dishonest and then following it up with threatening emails over a discrepancy for the exact same service is even worse. I’ll pay your extra $500, but that will be the last cent you ever get from us. I’ll also be making sure anyone considering your services knows exactly what to expect. Also, I’ve read your responses to other reviews. Unless you’re prepared to give an actual, meaningful reply, not another generic copy and paste script, don’t bother responding.

The parcel was not picked up. I had to chase it up myself, then rebook it. No accountability with this platform, overpromise underdeliver

So helpful! Would highly recommend.

Very helpful when the delivery company we had chosen went offline. They notified us immediately and reimbursed us and we had a new delivery company organised in no time.

Scammy company

Give you a price online for weight and size you add in,
Charge you that price again months later claiming it was over weight
By double even though it wasn’t it’s the exact weight and measurements provided on the first quote. After speaking with a friend who actually recommended me these guys also had the exact same thing happen and is very embarrassed and sorry she recommended them!!
Stay away from this company they are sneaky and report them as we have!!

Parcel was not picked up at the agreed time and unreasonable extra charge

Parcel was not picked up at the agreed time. It was three days delay. Unexpected extra charge which is 3 times more than than the quate. Extra charge was not notified immediately but after one month. It was poor communication and explanation after my complaint.

Dear Andrew, Thank you for your review and we sincerely apologise for the experience you've had. A three-day collection delay is not the standard of service we expect from our carrier partners, and we understand how disruptive that would have been.

Regarding the adjustment charge — these arise when a carrier's independent remeasure or reweigh at their depot identifies a discrepancy from the dimensions or weight declared at the time of booking. We acknowledge that the timing of this notification and the explanation provided following your complaint fell short of what you deserved, and we are sorry for that.

We'd genuinely like to look into both issues for you. If you haven't already, please contact us at hello@fastcourier.com.au with your booking reference and we will review the collection delay and the adjustment charge as a priority. Where charges have been incorrectly applied, we will always work to have them corrected.

WARNING: PARCELS GET LOST! My package was officially lost. And then I get an email reminding me to use their services again.

My package never arrived, got lost. A journey within the same city, a 30min drive between locations. And they lost it. And once they lose it, they throw you this link of some third-party company to claim your insurance. Then it's your luck (or not) whether this company will pay you or not.

A month later, I get an email from Fast Courier saying: "We couldn't help but notice it's been a whole 30 days since your last shipment with us! We really appreciated your last booking and we would love to help you with your next shipment."

An absolute insult. Them reminding me to use their services again after losing my parcel.

This is an unreliable, dodgy company.

UPDATE: On April 16th, Fast Courier's third-party insurance company has denied compensation under their own T&Cs. However, under Australian Consumer Law, I am entitled to compensation by Fast Courier. This has been requested to Fast Courier days before they replied to this review. Let's see what happens next...

When a consignment is lost in transit, we lodge a formal claim with the carrier on the customer's behalf and refer the goods value claim to our warranty provider, FreightSafe. We acknowledge that this process can feel impersonal at a difficult time, and we are always available at hello@fastcourier.com.au to support customers through it.

Regarding the re-engagement email — this is an automated communication that is unfortunately not connected to individual account activity or claim status. We understand completely how poorly timed that must have felt given your circumstances, and we sincerely apologise. This is feedback we will take on board.

Placing order was easy 10/10!!

Placing order was easy, price was very fair, it was collected from my front door by a very friendly driver & it got there overnight. I've sent similar packages a number of time using Austpost & it's no where even close on price, speed & easy of use, so I'm a convert & will be telling all my friends.

Quick service bad handling

Quick service. But very rough with items both broken and would not cover any damages. If something isn’t covered by your business insurance you shouldn’t agree to shift it. I attempted to use the complimentary insurance they provide and was told they do not insure household goods or antiques. Really disappointed

Every Fast Courier shipment includes complimentary warranty coverage up to $450 for loss or damage at no additional cost through Freight Safe. This coverage is automatically provided with all bookings.

- Photos of the box/packaging showing damage
- Brief description of what was broken

Took a week for the shipment to get picked up, had to rebook pick up after sitting here for numerous days.

Unable to contact and when you do they don't even read the email?!

So after a successful delivery of a car door from QLD to NSW back in April 2024 (would have given 5 stars for price and service) i now get multiple emails (March 2026) 2 years later with threats about approx. $150 i owe them for lying about the delivery address being commercial when it was apparently residential.

Except it wasn't!, and was delivered to a large industrial stores/warehouse at a power station (nothing residential about it?!), and with all the pictures of delivery, maps and detailed explanations i still receive emails with threats that they will engage an "external collection agency". How the delivery drivers cant tell a residential address from a large industrial warehouse is beyond me.

No way to phone them and they dont read emails....and love to try and scam more money out of you 2 years after the delivery! Lucky my credit card had been cancelled prior as im sure they would have just taken the money off me without asking.

Dont use, scammers, useless and will try take extra money through lies, get what you pay for i guess.

Residential charges are usually raised within weeks of delivery at the time the carrier issues the invoices to us. You may be receiving this communication in March 2026 as the invoice is still showing as outstanding.
While carriers determine residential vs commercial based on zoning databases (not building appearance), a power station industrial warehouse should typically be commercial. We're willing to review whether this charge was correctly applied.

Review the residential charge validity with the carrier.
We are committed to fair resolution.

I've never had to post a parcel before…

I've never had to post a parcel before but I found the whole process easy .I put in my parcel dimensions and weight and the pickup and delivery addresses and quickly found the most appropriate service . The company I chose emailed me labels to print .They didn't come on the expected date but first thing the next day .
The parcels arrived in a timely manner and were intact .
