Really clear process. No messing about or saying one thing then offering another price like at WeBuyAnyCar. Sold a car with damaged body work and other issues (all disclosed) and got a fair deal.

I was pleasantly surprised that Guaranteed Car Buyer paid me exactly what they offered for my car with an engine issue.

I was expecting an awkward haggling experience out in the cold but after the driver submitted the pictures, Tony rang me back and paid what the offer was. The payment came through in a few minutes.

The price offered was the highest quote I found and I believe very fair.

There was a slight hitch when the winch broke on the truck but apart from that everything was done in around 30-40 mins.

I was a bit of wary of all the positive reviews but they must be true!!

The collecting guy was fine. He arrived half an hour late but did contact me in good time to say he was running late.
He took photos of the car and FSH paperwork. After a long wait, It turned out the guy had taken a picture of an invoice for a tyre [but i wasn't to know that] and he wanted more so more photos of other service records were taken. After another wait, I got a call querying the paperwork further. The car has been fully serviced throughout by the Ford dealer that it was bought from. He didn't seem to understand that cars have longer than annual service intervals these days. In fact he didn't seem to understand much at all about what he was looking at.
By now this was not feeling 'HASSLE FREE' After about 3/4 hr we got onto the bodywork which I had fairly and reasonably marked as average. It definitely wasn't excellent and definitely not poor = average. Because of a small defect in the bumper [that I hadn't ever noticed] he tried dropping the price so now it is not 'HAGGLE FREE' and it is not the 'GAURANTEED' price promised repeatedly in emails and texts. At this point I threatened to pull out so he spoke to manager and came back and agreed the 'GAURANTEED' price also adding that the difference was not worth arguing about.....?
The process took an hour and half and was a long way from what this company is selling itself on.
If the business needs intricate details on FSH paperwork then I would have been happy to email it all over ahead of time and the pickup. If it wants to know the precise number of scrapes [we went from two to three [the rest of the car being at the excellent end]], then it needs to spell that out but it doesn't and if it doesn't, then it shouldn't quibble at the pick up time [which it implies doesn't happen but I can tell you that it does]. Very poor service was indicated to them on their own feedback email but no one has been in contact and after my experience, I'm not really expecting any.

I had a really good experience with Guaranteed Car Buyers.
I was sceptical about car buying sites, and with my car having a clutch issue, i really wasnt sure what I could do with it.
I got a great price from GCB, and thought I would just try them. There was a logistics issue with collection on the day (my fault - gave wrong number) but after speaking to Tony on the phone, he was more than happy to pay the agreed price once I showed some pictures and condition had been confirmed as described.
I cannot fault the service at all, and if ever I need to move a car on in the future, I know exactly where to go!
