I am very happy with their services, great support overall.

I absolutely recommend this company because it is serious and transparent. Everything is traceable, which means there is no manipulation at all. My accident case was not easy, also because I came from a previous lawyer who had manipulated the documents, so it was really difficult for someone to believe in me. In addition, English is not my native language. So, I fought hard to find one, because I believe in justice. And this company confirmed to me that there is still some justice in the UK. Do not lose hope. This company has helped me so much in every sense.
Karen was the lawyer who accompanied me in this fight for more than 3 years. It was essential to have a good lawyer by your side. She was always present and consistent with her commitment. I think that Thank you is not enough .... Really honest.

Jacob Bartholomew-Smith, under the supervision of Edward Sharp at HJA, supported my elderly and vulnerable mother with her housing case. From the start, they were professional, knowledgeable and compassionate, which made a stressful process much easier. They gave us clear advice, kept us updated on timelines and ultimately helped us move from Property A to B then to C. Their hard work secured a suitability review, which confirmed that Property C was unsuitable for my mother’s needs.

What really stood out was their attention to detail e.g, going through all our paperwork carefully and their ability to explain things in a way we could easily understand. They genuinely fought for my mother’s rights and we always felt they had our best interests at heart. Communication was prompt and they guided us through every step, making sure we knew our options.

Once Property C was deemed unsuitable, they advised us that an alternative home would be offered and then closed the case. However five months have passed and no suitable property has been provided.

I’ve struggled to get further support from the firm now. Each time I’ve reached out whether for housing, personal injury or civil liberties, I’ve been told they don’t have the capacity to take on new cases. While I understand they’re busy, it’s disappointing to lose that continuity of support especially after such a positive experience.

That said, I still highly recommend HJA for their professionalism and expertise. If they can take on your case, you’ll be in good hands. I just wish there was more long-term support for clients.
