Friendly helpful Staff. Straightforward easy transaction. Gave us the notes in which denominations would be more suitable to me.

Collecting currency from my local Waitrose supermarket made it very convenient and also getting the online rate as well from John Lewis.

Very easy to order. Very easy to collect.
However l have one comment to make. I ordered 1300 euros. 1150 of that was in 50 euro notes! Not everywhere abroad welcomes such large notes. In the past l have managed to obtain a supply of smaller notes in store. This is annoying because l get a lower exchange rate but doable to make purchases abroad easier. Imagine my horror when l read this week that you are proposing to do away with instore bureau de change facilities. If you must close your bureau de change may l request that large internet orders of cash contain a larger proportion of small notes. Ideally the facility to request whatever denomination of notes are required.

The partner that helped us was friendly, courteous, respectful & professional &thus meant we had no problems at all.

Just wish NewDay, who look after the John Lewis card, were this respectful.

Really easy to order on line and received the money the next day

Ordered 2 lots of currency went to pick up Tuesday of this week from Waitrose Petersfield handed an envelope which I did not open in store as people could be watching .When i opened at home one of the currencies was missing wasn’t even on order form in envelope .My JL account had been debited with whole amount.phoned JL money they could see the mistake but to date havent had my missing currency all this is stressful phone calls and I will now have to go back to Waitrose when it arrives which entails petrol cost/car parking through no fault of mine.Luckily I am not travelling immediately as it would be a big problem.I dont think I should have to wait for my currency while JL sort out what has happened .I will not order from them again

I've been waiting for over two weeks for my card now. To NewDay's credit they did send credit me with £60 to my account to apologise, however I still am waiting for my card to arrive so i can use it to make a purchase at JL.

The application process online works well and you get approved almost instantly and can use the credit card via your phone wallet . The app is easy to understand and when the plastic card comes it’s easy to register

I have only just received my card, but all seems to be going well. I applied in order to collect vouchers which will be very much appreciated - my previous credit card gave me nothing!

Soon after I bought USD1,000 at £760 I noticed that Travel FX was offering it at £751. So despite being so called Sale, I ended up paying more to John Lewis. I was wrong to trust John Lewis. I should have checked.

John Lewis did a decent job overall, no major complaints. Customer service got back to me within a day when I had a question. One small item was slightly different from the photo, though still fine. Would order again.

I went into John Lewis in Cheltenham
To get euros it was closed so I then had to go to Waitrose (completely unacceptable) apparently they had no record that last November I purchased alot of Indosean dollars so I had to go through all the process once again I find this completely unacceptable and will therefore in future I will be purchasing my foreign currency at the post office complete waste of time in Waitrose!!
