The partner that helped us was friendly, courteous, respectful & professional &thus meant we had no problems at all. Just wish NewDay, who look after the John Lewis card, were this respectful.
I have used John Lewis Money for foreign currency many times and always receive good service. I required a larger amount than usual recently and pre-ordered and was notified when it was ready.

Everything gone well via application and setting up
I have only just received my card, but all seems to be going well. I applied in order to collect vouchers which will be very much appreciated - my previous credit card gave me nothing!

Soon after I bought USD1,000 at £760
Soon after I bought USD1,000 at £760 I noticed that Travel FX was offering it at £751. So despite being so called Sale, I ended up paying more to John Lewis. I was wrong to trust John Lewis. I should have checked.

John Lewis did a decent job overall, no major complaints. Customer service got back to me within a day when I had a question. One small item was slightly different from the photo, though still fine. Would order again.

I went into John Lewis in Cheltenham
I went into John Lewis in Cheltenham
To get euros it was closed so I then had to go to Waitrose (completely unacceptable) apparently they had no record that last November I purchased alot of Indosean dollars so I had to go through all the process once again I find this completely unacceptable and will therefore in future I will be purchasing my foreign currency at the post office complete waste of time in Waitrose!!

Without further details it's difficult to explain why the Bureau de Change at our Cheltenham branch was unexpectedly closed when you visited, however our Partners are always happy to assist as best they can, when asked. As for your visit to Waitrose, these shops are generally used as collection only locations for online currency orders, so Partners there will have no access to the systems required to look up any orders you've placed with John Lewis Money. Was super convenient to pop into the store on my lunch break, dollars in stock, a goood rate, well explained and plenty small notes too. I also got £5 off with member rewards!
