Free upgrade. Got the car with 1/4 tank filled. We were told to bring the car back with at least that amount. Fueled the car up and brought it back just over 1/2.
At drop off, the guy mentioned the car was not dropped off with a full tank. Consequently, this is to be charged back to us, although having signed it off with 1/4 of a tank at the beginning.
Also, not close to airport. Pickup is a van with a driver who is kind, but drives like a maniac.
Would not recommend. Rather go to an established car rental and pay exactly for what you get.

Regarding the fuel level, our policy is that the vehicle should be returned with the same fuel level as at the start of the rental. If the vehicle was provided with approximately Œ of a tank, it should also be returned with approximately Œ. Returning it with more fuel than received should not, in itself, result in a fuel charge. We would therefore be happy to review the rental agreement and return report to clarify exactly what happened in your case.
Regarding the airport location, our Vienna office is located outside the airport, and we provide a complimentary shuttle service between Vienna Airport and our rental station. We understand that this may be less convenient than an on-airport rental location.
We are also sorry if your shuttle journey felt uncomfortable. We take feedback regarding our drivers seriously and will pass your comments to the relevant team.

I booked a vehicle for one week through Booking.comâor a similar travel appâfor approximately $200, including additional insurance at roughly $20â$30 per day. I believed everything was covered, but that was unfortunately not the case.
At pickup, I was given two options:
* Pay a â¬2,600 security deposit, refundable only if the vehicle was returned in perfect condition.
* Purchase additional insurance for â¬55 per day, plus a â¬100 registration fee, a â¬120 cross-border fee, and a â¬100 refundable deposit.
By the end, I had paid approximately â¬600, plus another $135 for a one-day extension. Customers should understand that renting a car in Europe may be far more expensive than the advertised online price. Expect additional fees and a process that is not especially hassle-free.
The rental office is approximately 15 minutes from the airport, so you must call an international number to arrange pickup and drop-off. To be fair, that part of the service worked well.
Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of transparent pricing and the significant unexpected charges. I strongly recommend confirming every deposit, insurance requirement, and additional fee directly with the rental company before booking.
Would I use this service? Absolutely NOT!

At pick-up, customers are presented with two rental options: leaving the required security deposit or purchasing our additional protection package with a lower refundable deposit. The customer is free to choose the option that best suits their needs. Other services, such as Cross-Border travel, are charged separately when requested.
As our office is located approximately 15 minutes from the airport, we provide a shuttle service for transfers between the airport and our branch.

AVOID! â hidden mandatory charges!
Extremely disappointing and misleading experience. At pickup, Klass Wagen forced me to pay an additional â¬16.80 âRoad Tollâ, despite the car already having a valid Austrian vignette. I explicitly asked to refuse the charge and was told it was mandatory and I would not get the car otherwise.
Advertising one price and then imposing unavoidable charges at the counter is unacceptable. I would not rent from Klass Wagen again.

The attitude of the employees was great, but the pick-up from the airport was less so. Communication with the office over the phone was not the best. I recommend taking the insurance that the company provides and not other insurance, it is simpler, more understandable and there is someone responsible for you.4 stars for the poor communication at Vienna airport on the way to the rental, other than that, it was excellent.

Nearly Perfect Experience
The staff were all very friendly, professional and helpful.
The car was great.
One issue I had was that I didn't have an active phone number when I arrived in Vienna.
Luckily a friend was there to greet me and I could use her phone, otherwise I don't know how I would have arranged the shuttle.
Maybe there is a way to do it without calling, but I don't know it.

The cars are in good condition, and the airport pickup was well organized. What I did not like was that they almost force you to take additional insurance (138⬠in my case for 2-3 days). If you don't, you have to pay a â¬2,600 deposit, and they said that in case of even the slightest damage (even a small mark or scratcht, or at least that how they 'threathened' me) they would immediately deduct â¬500 from the deposit.

Bad experience
The car was Rented via "stress free car Rental". Deposit 2500 Euro did not go through on my platin mastercard due to their payment terminal, they refused to use my visa card instead or my wifes mastercard.
However it was OK for them to use my visacard for the deposit for gasoline. The conclusion was that that I had to buy their insurance on top of the Stressfreecarrental insurance to get the car. - Never again will I rent there.
They claimed the Stressfreecarrental insurance was not a real insurance, when I mentioned that I was covered by the mastercard, I was told it was even worse to be insured two places, therefore they offered a third insurance!

Please allow us to clarify that coverage purchased through a third party or included with a credit card is separate from the protection offered directly by Klass Wagen. Third-party coverage normally requires the customer to leave the damage deposit and subsequently request reimbursement if any eligible charges arise. Our Klass Total Cover option, however, eliminates the damage deposit requirement.
In accordance with our rental conditions and security procedures, the damage deposit must be secured using an accepted credit card in the main driverâs name. A card belonging to another person cannot be accepted for this purpose. The fuel pre-authorisation is processed under different conditions, which explains why a different card could be used.
We understand that this situation was frustrating and regret that the available options did not meet your expectations.
