I was arrested over two years ago and it had been a long journey with many challenges through a lengthy period of investigation. My solicitor Robert Bailey has stayed with me throughout including my appearance at court; supported by him and my barrister. I received a suspended sentence - given the charges and offences this was the best outcome to achieve. I’m pleased it is all over and thanks to Robert of Mary Monson for staying with me through one of the most challenging periods in my life.

My solicitor Jamie was very helpful, professional and put me at ease throughout the whole process and made what could have been a very stressful time a lot easier.

Failed to support me in court and sent a duty solicitor instead, twice, both times they did not have a grasp of my case

Faulty equipment failing to hold its charge caused a breach of tag. Not a breach of bail, which I was advised to plead guilty to..

EMS we're not challenged regarding my 2nd tag being fitted at Formby leading to another court appearance for refusing to have a tag fitted. I never refused to have a tag fitted or a 2nd box fitted.

There seems to have been a failure to address me being excluded from.the whole of Derbyshire until a different barrister dealt with my case.

These are the main things I am not happy about.

I would like to know why the prosecution dropped the case 3 weeks before trial date in October when the original trial date in Feb had been vacated. They had opportunity to drop the case then.

Several cctv clips I sent seem to have been lost?

But Jamie overall was really helpful.

My son was unjustly charged for assaulting a police officer. From early on, we knew that it was in fact he who was assaulted and that all involved in the prosecution were corroborating to build a nasty case against him, neglecting key evidence, giving false testimony, and hiding crucial CCTV footage. From the outset and given the nature of the case, I understood that we would need a defence of the highest caliber. Edd (my son) was understandably in deep shock at that time.
