I haven’t had to previously deal with a solicitor, but this week I have had representation from Shannon English. Shannon made sure to explain everything that was happening to me, making sure I understood completely. Throughout my interview process Shannon was extremely supportive, making sure I was still okay to carry on. Shannon then contacted me the day after to check how I was doing. Excellent Service
Thankfully I haven't needed the service of solicitors previously so don't have lots of experience to compare, however I have been very impressed with Mary Monson. They are on it and know their stuff. If you need this type of service, you want the best you can afford and I would highly recommend having a conversation with them. They are easy to talk to and quick to respond and they deliver an excellent service.

I came into contact with Mary Monson Solicitors via a friend who appointed them to deal with a legal matter for him.
During the initial meeting the solicitor gave my friend options he then advised which he thought was the best route to take. There was no pressure on my friend to take the route advised. However, thankfully, he took the solicitors' advice, and the matter has now been completed with a positive outcome. This process took 2 years to complete. The solicitor was always on hand to answer questions and reassure my friend. Emails and phone calls were usually responded to that day. The solicitor was not just supportive to my friend. Any questions I had were dealt with with professionalism and patience.

Thomas O'Brien is a brilliant lawyer who ensured he covered all bases in clearing my name. I was a victim of a crime which I reported to the police to get a no contact order. Which upon receipt of, the perpetrator made serious false allegations against me out of spite. Thomas O'Brien was extremely thorough and made it very clear, using the evidence I had provided, that the accusation was false which resulted in no further action.

Professional Service with compassion
Mary Monson staff are very professional, they treated me very respectfully, fully informed me of the serious nature of the charges I was accused of and had great understanding of my own personal circumstances.
They listened with empathy and reduced my own stress levels by helping me to provide a well structured defence that the good people of Manchester came to a sensible outcome on.
I would like to personally thank Emma Swindell for being patient with me, showing compassion and understanding of my own mental health, both at the Police Station and whilst I was on remand. It’s fair to say I was emotionally broken and Emma was someone who demonstrated I could trust and open up too.
Over the coming months Emma reassured me that Mary Monson was doing all they can. The rapport between Emma and my Barrister Rachel Cooper was excellent and between them they successfully narrowed down the trial evidence in my favour.
Therefore, allowing myself to give evidence to the Court in a dignified manner.
Emma also kept my Dad well informed and reassured him i was well. My Dad would also like to pass on his gratitude too and we both wish Emma and the team every success in the future. Thank you.
