Leah in the property team was excellent when we sold our house. She was really helpful, especially when we were stuck with a very difficult buying solicitor. Monarch also helped draft a loan agreement for us which was very easy and well done. Can highly recommend.

I have used Monarch solicitors twice now for conveyancing and they have always been fantastic. For the most part, Bethany Hawkins was dealing with my house sale all the way to completion and she did a fantastic job. Always promptly dealing with enquiries, updating on progress and quick to respond to my emails. Thank you Bethany for all the hard work. I should also mention the great work of Saher Qarini and Leah Whitehead who have dealt with my other conveyancing transactions. Thank you both.

Saher and Leah were very helpful in getting our property purchase across the line, and made every effort to accommodate our needs and random questions at every turn! They were communicative even when the solicitor from the seller was being slow.

Be cautious of Ian Bowen. If you check their Google page, you’ll find a review by Gee Logistics mentioning overcharging practices by this bloke. Eight people have liked that message, which already indicates the kind of practionar he is. I also had a negative experience with him, where he refused to correct his mistakes and misled me. I’ve seen other similar reviews about this dodgy bloke, which leads me to believe that his practices are dishonest.

Want to say a huge thanks to Leah and Saher who helped us with conveyancing on a property. It was quite a complicated process for us and they both have offered great advice and been available when needed. Highly recommend Monarch for people who have profits from Cryptocurrency as part of their house purchase.

I was buying my first house. I had two other solicitors prior to this who were very VERY slow, no updates, nothing was happening. I then went to Monarch Solicitors and it was honestly a breath of fresh air. Super fast with everything and always keeping me updated. As well as very fast at replying to emails. Was said 8-12 weeks for it to all be sorted and everything was done in 7 weeks. Amazing honestly. As my checks were advanced checks, if it was a normal check all this could have been completed in 4 weeks which is insane! (in a good way) Huge thank you to Leah who has kept me in the loop the whole time. Highly recommend this company when buying a house and also dealing with crypto currency!

Highly recommend Monarch Solicitors for all things relating to buying a house. Leah has been dealing with my property purchase for the last couple of months and has been an absolute pleasure to have do this on my behalf. I appointed Monarch Solicitors to act for me in the purchase of a repossessed auction property with a 14 day completion clause. My point of contact was Saher Qarini who provide an exemplary service that I cannot fault at all. He was diligent, attentive and pro-active, always acting in my best interests during a very tricky purchase from a very unhelpful seller. He provided clear and logical guidance throughout, kept me in the loop via email/phone and answered all queries quickly and diligently. I would not hesitate to recommend Monarch Solicitors and Saher specifically, especially if you require a speedy completion. I will certainly be appointing them again in the future should I require their services.

Please be cautious of Monarch Solicitors, particularly Ian Bowen, as my experience with this solicitor has been deeply troubling.

Ian Bowen represent my landlord, with whom I've had a dispute for several years. Despite my efforts to resolve the matter amicably, I was forced to take legal action as the landlord refused to reimburse me for overpaid rent and for the harassment I endured. However, Ian Bowen submitted a false counterclaim alleging that I was in arrears, despite ample evidence proving otherwise. Despite acknowledging my defence via email and via the N180 form submitted to court, he persisted in harassing and threatening me, even going as far as to intimidate me with the threat of obtaining a judgment against me.

His behavior escalated when he contacted me via phone using an anonymous number, claiming to be the director of his company. He threatened to ensure I received a judgment against me and told me to leave the country, making racist and discriminatory remarks. Whether he is indeed the director of his company is uncertain, but his conduct, both in emails and over the phone, suggests a blatant disregard for consequences. He explicitly stated that he does not feel intimidated, implying he is unconcerned about the impact of his actions.

This solicitor's behavior has transcended harassment and bullying to outright racism and discrimination. Despite being made aware of his incessant harassing emails, Monarch Solicitors' compliance team has enabled him to continue his misconduct in pursuit of their clients' interests, even though there is NO chance of success on their part. I have endured significant emotional distress due to Ian Bowen's actions, and I am taking further action against Monarch Solicitors included reporting this matter to the SRA.

Monarch Solicitors has made it clear that they do not feel intimidated by the actions taken against them. This suggests that such behavior is habitual and unchecked, which should not be tolerated. The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) should thoroughly investigate the conduct of Monarch Solicitors.

When I informed them of my intention to post a review online, they even threatened legal action against me for sharing an honest review about them. However, it is my right to share my experiences online, especially given Monarch Solicitors' persistent harassment, which has now escalated to racism.

I would not be surprised that they will deny these allegations and may respond to my online review with a barrage of lies to protect themselves. However, I know the truth, and they know the truth. Enough is enough. Their unfair practices must cease immediately. If they believe that legal action against me will aid them, it only demonstrates their disregard for the law and their unfair trading practices aimed solely at extracting money from individuals. However, they will not succeed in extracting a penny from me, regardless of the actions they take.

I have also come across a review online on trust pilot from May 2023, where another team member of Monarch Solicitors began tweeting about a client when the firm attempted to inflate their prices. This further demonstrates to me that Monarch Solicitors engages in such behavior without any regard for the law. This amounts to a serious data breach.

In light of my own experiences with them, I am compelled to bring this matter to the attention of the Manchester Newspaper as it requires high-level scrutiny.

I urge you to exercise caution when considering Monarch Solicitors as your legal representation. And they are willing to go to extreme lengths to emotionally and financially harm individuals for financial motives.
