Cancelled my subscription and was charged £38 absolute frauds

hi i signed up for free and then cancelled because didn’t find it any good, so can you please let me know why i have been charged for £66!!!!! i’m not happy and want it cancelled and want my money back. if this isn’t sorted i will take this further. my name is victoria harvey and you took it from my mastercard. from one very unhappy person

Olá, Eu cancelei a subscrição, porém eles continuam cobrando automaticamente. Agem de má fé, sendo que já fiz o cancelamento

Kalorien zählen kann ich auch alleine. Bin zur Zeit verletzt. Kein Hinweis von OMO, dass sie nur von gesunden Menschen ausgehen.

I thought I was paying £58.99 for the whole package including the meal planning exercise plan. Turns out I was only getting daily lessons which I thought I’d get every day for 12 months but I’ve now finished all of the lessons in 30 days!!!
I also got the water log reminders, calories log just the basic things you can get on my fitness pal that is free. My fitness pal includes meals on their platform. Upon looking again it said I needed to pay an extra £48 for the extras!! Very misleading.

My experience with the OMO app has been deeply frustrating and financially upsetting. I signed up for what I believed was a month-long free trial, only to be hit with unexpected and exorbitant charges totaling £40.69 (£17.77 twice and £5.15 once). This is an outrageous amount to pay for a simple calorie-counting app.

What's worse is that these weekly charges were initiated without my explicit consent or any notification after the trial period ended. There was no prompt asking if I wanted to subscribe. This feels like a deliberate tactic to mislead users into unwanted subscriptions.

Like many others, I am now facing unexpected deductions from my account. I demand a full refund for these unauthorized charges. Based on the numerous similar complaints online, OMO's billing practices appear highly questionable and user-unfriendly. Steer clear of this app unless you want to risk being caught in their costly and deceptive "free" trial trap.

I signed up for a trial that cost 30, was dissatisfied that it seems to only be a good and water tracker? So I figured oh well at least it's only 30... and then I saw a 66 dollar charge on my account! So that trial price was apparently a lie. And they were going to charge another 66 in 3 months! Good thing I looked. Seems a little scammy

I have used the OMO app since Feb 24th; it has been easy to use and I like how it helps me be more accountable to my portions, time I eat, steps done, hydration. The daily reads don't overload you with information like some other apps and are easy to digest/understand, have some great tips, and doesn't take up too much of my time.

Where I see improvement needed: 1) Does not appear to provide individual plans based on all the information provided by the user. 2) App changed from proving me the expected break-down for each meal to justs the overall daily break-down (cal, protein, fat, etc) 3) Meal finder items listed, though plentiful, I find many times than not, the caloric intake and makeup of the food items are off (probably due to people entering incorrect numbers/percentages).

Overall, I have decided to continue my journey with Omo for a bit longer. This is a basic weight loss tool. If you are expecting quick weight loss results, and don't take to heart the educational tips, you may be disappointed with this app/program.

On a final note, so far I have not had the issues others have had regarding subscription payment. Though the "trial periods" seem to vary a lot as do the prices; definitely something to consider. I was told about the automatic subscription renewal; too bad you can't turn that off, as I like many, will forget about it.

Unbekannter Vertrag
Vermutlich hat mein schwerbehinderter Sohn ohne mein Wissen und meine Genehmigung einen Vertrag geschlossen, den ich keinesfalls wollte. Mir ist auch nicht bekannt, unter welcher Mail-Adresse angeblich ein Vertrag geschlossen worden ist. Als Rentnerin kann ich mir leider keine zusätzlichen Ausgaben leisten. Ich bitte daher um dringende Erstattung des abgebuchten Betrages und um sofortige Stornierung eines angeblichen Vertrages.

Habe die App seit ca. 4 Wochen und bin begeistert. Ja, manchmal stehen die Sachen auf Englisch, dass müsste die App noch besser machen. Ansonsten finde ich den psychologischen Teil für mich persönlich sehr effektiv. Ja, einen Teil weis man schon vorher, aber viele Dinge wusste ich auch nicht. Mir hilft dieser Weg sehr. Ich zahle im Monat um die 38 Euro. Und ja am Anfang sollte man genau schauen ,auf welche Knöpfe man drückt😉gelesen habe ich auch davon. Ich selbst bin Motopädin und Heilpädagogin in einer psychologischen Beratungsstelle. Mal sehen wie sie sind, wenn ich mein Ziel erreicht habe und die App kündigen werde!

Je n'ai jamais pris d'abonnement et je me retrouve avec de l'argent débité de mon compte via PayPal. Des sommes différentes tous les mois ? Comment cela est il possible. J'ai dû regarder un jour ce qu'ils proposaient sans jamais adhère, surtout pas par PayPal !

Customer service was exceptional! I've read other reviews but I had a totally different experience. They were responsive (less than 12 hours, sometimes as short as 3 hours) to respond. I loved the scanning option for recording my meals/drinks, as well as utilizing the database of what others have already scanned in - most the time I could just type what I ate and it had already been programmed in. It also remembered what foods I recorded prior and kept those selections at the top of my search. The only reason I canceled was because my company has an app that allows me to manually enter in my workouts - Omo has this feature too, you just have to upgrade your plan.

I feel so confused, I signed up for the 4 week trial for £15 as that's all I can afford and then my bank contacts me to say you've tried to take out £48! I wouldn't have signed up for that. How the hell do you contact anyone for a refund or to raise a complaint. I panicked and deleted my account. I will recontact my bank and let them know it's a scam and make sure they are are blocked

I have had £38.95 taken from my bank account for a subscription that I have not subscribed to or never heard of.
On the email from this company, they have no personal information (name, billing address etc) but used an email that I do not use for anything that I would ever subscribe to.
This has left my account overdrawn.
I can not afford this.
Can anyone help me with this as when I tried to go through the link from my email, they request my name etc which I am not comfortable with😒

Pague la inscripción por un mes pero al ver que realmente no era lo que esperaba y en definitiva no es de ayuda la aplicación y no te va ayudar a bajar de peso como falsamente lo dicen en sus publicaciones, anule la inscripción para que no me descontaran el siguiente mes pero oh sorpresa me quitaron la suscripción inmediatamente ósea pagué 17€ por 1 semana que fue lo que la tuve activa, pero te decían que esos 17euros era por un mes. No se dejen estafar, no sirve de nada solo para quitarte tu dinero.

Be warned, I signed up, wrongly thinking I was receiving a tailored plan based on my assessment. Basically just got the app which counts calories and tracks progress which I’m more than capable of using and further “adds on” required and more and more cost. This was mis sold and their policy is clear no refunds. Utter scam and waste of money.
