We’re also glad you felt the issue was dealt with quickly once reported. However, we’re very sorry to hear about your delivery experience. We use independent third-party couriers to deliver our furniture and trust them to handle items with care, so it’s disappointing to hear that this wasn’t the case on this occasion. We are sorry you feel that protecting our couriers and future customers is horrendous service. To clarify, your order was for standard door delivery, which means items are delivered to the door of the property. When our courier contacted you to inform you they were on the way to deliver your new Dining furniture , you mentioned that your household had COVID-19 and requested that the delivery be brought inside. For safety reasons, our couriers are unable to enter homes where COVID-19 is present, to protect both their health and the safety of other customers. They offered to reschedule the delivery for a later date, which was done the following week.

As a goodwill gesture, the couriers went beyond the original delivery terms and brought the items into your property, even though this is normally included only with our “Room of Choice” delivery option for an extra fee.

We always aim to balance safety with excellent customer service, and we hope this explanation helps clarify the situation. Your feedback is important and will be used to continue improving our service.

Thank you so much for your lovely review and for your kind words about your new dining table — we’re so pleased to hear you’re happy with the quality and design.

We completely understand your feedback regarding communication. When we first spoke after your order, we advised that the table was out of stock until the end of September and that we would be in touch as soon as it arrived to arrange delivery. As we had already spoken with you again in mid-September, we wouldn’t normally contact customers until the supplier confirms the item is back in stock — which was expected at the end of September. We do appreciate, however, that this may have felt like a long wait without further updates.

We’re delighted the table has now arrived safely and hope it makes a wonderful addition to your home. Thank you again for your patience and for taking the time to share your experience — your feedback helps us continue to improve.
