The Robinson by Quantain - just perfect
I stayed at The Robinson by Quantain Living for work, and I honestly had an excellent experience. The apartments were fantastic â very comfortable, well-equipped, and maintained to a high standard. The services and amenities were also great and made my stay very convenient.
The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my time there. Iâd like to specifically mention Ken, who assisted me a lot during my stay â his support and friendliness really made a difference.
I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return in the future.

Disappointing experience for a âpremiumâ rental
I lived in the Solar building managed by Quintain Living and several advertised services were never available during my tenancy. The intercom system didnât work at all, meaning I had to go downstairs for every delivery or visitor. Parcel room access was unclear and unreliable, and there was no consistent concierge presence in Solar (staff were based in Luna instead), none of which was disclosed before signing.
The most serious issue was persistent, loud noise from a servicing/utility room opposite my flat, often at night, which repeatedly disrupted my sleep. I raised this multiple times over nearly three months, but it was only offered to be looked at right at the end of my tenancy.
I understand new builds have teething issues, but paying a premium rent while absorbing all the inconvenience â with no rent adjustment or goodwill offered â was disappointing. I raised a formal complaint; the issues were noted, but no compensation was provided. Iâd advise prospective tenants to ask very clearly which services are actually operational before signing. We understand how inconvenient the intercom issue was, particularly when it affected deliveries and visitors. While the system has since been resolved, we appreciate that during your tenancy it meant additional trips downstairs. Although the intercom provides access to the lobby, lift access is resident only, which does mean deliveries still need to be collected from the lobby, we recognise this wasnât as clear as it should have been, and we apologise for that lack of clarity.
We also apologise for the confusion around parcel handling. During the early opening period of Solar, there were some initial challenges with the Solar parcel room, and parcels were therefore kept securely in the Luna parcel room. While security was always maintained, we appreciate that the process may have felt unclear and unreliable at the time.
Regarding on site presence, we the Residents Team are based in Luna and support Solar, and we are always present across both buildings. In addition, night security staff are also located on the front desk in Solar between 8pm and 8am. Throughout this period, teams at both Solar and Luna were always contactable by phone or in person, though we understand that this arrangement may not have felt as consistent or visible as expected.
We apologise for the ongoing noise disturbance you experienced. We know how disruptive this can be, especially when it affects your sleep. As Solar is a brand new development, there were some early operational issues, and once the source of the noise was identified, it was resolved. That said, we fully recognise that this took longer than it should have and apologise for the impact this had on your day to day living.
Weâre really pleased to hear your kind words about Ciara from the Residents Team. She will be thrilled to know that her warmth, personality, and genuine care made a positive difference during your time with us, and weâre proud to have her as part of our team.

Ferrum is really good place to liveïŒ
I moved to Ferrum in September 2025 and overall Iâve had a very good experience living here. The building is well maintained and the facilities are nice and easy to use.
Iâve also had good experiences with the reception and maintenance teams. Whenever I needed help, they were friendly and sorted things out quickly. Iâd especially like to mention Emma, Mani and Joanna, who have all been really helpful.
So far, Iâm happy with my decision to move here and would recommend Ferrum to others looking for a place in the area.

Iâve lived in the building for 2 years now and have enjoyed it very much. Recently, Jayvi has helped my partner and I out which is why Iâm writing this review. She was so helpful and responsive. We went to speak with her and as promised she emailed the next day with everything we needed.
All the staff are lovely and we very much appreciate Jayviâs help. Itâs nice to see her smiling face at the desk. I feel like London is so lonely, getting greeted by her just makes you feel at home. The building is secure and kept clean. My partner and I love living here with our cat.

Terrible Move-Out Experience & Inflated Deposit Charges
The flat itself was lovely and genuinely felt like home for four years, but unfortunately the move-out experience with Quintain Living was extremely disappointing.
As soon as we handed in our notice, the treatment we received changed completely. Communication became difficult, and we were presented with a long list of charges that felt both inflated and deeply dishonest. Despite leaving the property in a great condition after a long-term tenancy, Quintain is currently attempting to deduct over £900 from our £1,000 deposit. Despite their own check-out report rating rooms as âGoodâ and showing only normal wear and tear.
Concerningly, after speaking to others and seeing similar stories online, this does not appear to be an isolated incident. It feels like standard practice rather than a genuine assessment, completely overshadowing what was otherwise a good living experience.
Since this experience, we would no longer recommend Quintain to anyone else and strongly advise any future tenants to document everything and be prepared to challenge deposit deductions.
