Jon just got us a large refund on our stamp duty, very pleasant and straightforward to deal with, and clear guiding us through the process throughout. We are so grateful for his professional expertise. Highly recommended!!

I was initially a little skeptical about the suggestion made by SDLT Experts that I had overpaid stamp duty on my property. I had an initial discussion with Jon and thought I should do something about this. I then became inundated with letters from other agencies making the same claims (and they sent repeat letters weekly). I had received no chasing up or hassling from Jon over the summer whilst I was busy elsewhere so completed the forms he had sent me as I really appreciated this quiet and non-invasive approach. After sending some photos off as requested I was told the application had been made. I received payment a few weeks later. I am still receiving a constant trail of post regarding this matter even though it’s resolved. I praise Jon’s quick identification of the overpayment, his professional approach and the calm way he worked through the requirements with me. What I thought would be a hassle, certainly wasn’t, so I would highly recommend this company.

Easy process. Huge support from Jon. It was effortless for me from start to finish. Which resulted in me receiving a payment of £8,200 which I never expected.

This really couldn't be much simpler:

Received a very slick piece of marketing from Jon/SDLT (and three other companies - not so slick) explaining that we may be owed money back from HMRC ref Stamp duty overpayment.

Although I can be a little suspicious of 'slick', after a telephone conversation with Jon, in which he
clearly explained the process and his fees (lower than most) we went ahead.

Jon emailed a list of requirements and in return we provided a number of photographs and some paperwork to back up the claim.

A few weeks later and I have just received an email confirming a successful claim and a substantial return of cash from HMRC.

I can't think of any reason not to use SDLT.
