Outstanding Service and Support
I’m extremely satisfied with Sailogy’s customer service. This is already the third time I’ve booked through Sailogy, and each time I’ve been very happy with the service and support. Everything has gone perfectly so far. Now we just have to wait until we’re on the boat, but up to now, my experience has been nothing but positive.

My Sailogy experience
Finding a boat, determining if it had the required equipment and making the reservation was all very easy. The staff at Sailogy are very helpful and respond quickly to requests for information. All in all, a great experience.

Vivo professionalmente da più di 40 anni la nautica da diporto. Da 4 anni Sailogy è il mio punto di riferimento per quanto riguarda il charter...da cliente. C'è poco da aggiungere, direi.

Vi är väldigt nöjda med servicen och kommunikationen med Sailogy, men besvikna på deras partner Croatia Yachting som hyrde ut den Hanse 51 vi seglade i Kroatien. Det var många saker som inte fungerade. Nivåmätare på diesel, vatten och toatank, vilka vi bedömmer som viktiga funktioner. Dåligt utrustad båt i köket och utomboradren vi hyrde funkade inte. Gummibåten läckte in vatten. Attityden från Croatia Yachting var att det får man räkna med. Inte acceptabelt till det pris vi betalade.

“Dream Sailing Holiday Turned Into a Stressful Ordeal”
Our recent 7-night charter unfortunately fell short of expectations due to a number of issues that significantly impacted our experience.
Although we booked through Sailogy in the UK, all arrangements and management on arrival in Athens were handled by JF Yachts.
Upon arrival at Athens Marina, the process was extremely chaotic and stressful. At the JF Yachts office, we were informed that the security deposit and additional fees could only be paid in cash. This directly contradicted the information provided by Sailogy in advance via their email, which stated that Visa or Mastercard payments would be accepted. By chance, our group managed to gather the large required sum in cash, which was counted in front of three of our party members and signed off by the JF Yachts representative as present and correct. A few hours later, however, we were told by our skipper that the payment was €900 short and we needed to return to the JFY office to sort it out. We strongly disputed this allegation given the circumstances. This situation left us feeling misled and concerned about the integrity of the process.
We had also paid an additional fee for early check-in (2:00pm). Despite this, engineers were still working on the boat when we arrived, and no explanation was provided during the delay. As a result of this and the above monetary shortfall allegation, we were not able to depart the marina until 5:45 pm. This meant sailing after dark and arriving very late at our first destination, which was both inconvenient and disappointing.
The condition of the boat itself was also unsatisfactory, especially as we had booked what was advertised as a 2023 vessel, we would not have expected such issues. Notable issues included:
* Repeated anchor malfunctions throughout our trip, leading to delays and frustration
* Refrigerator freezing items even at low settings
* Freezer failing to keep items frozen
* Two cabins with broken roof hatches
* A cracked bathroom hatch causing leaks
* Ceiling panel in one cabin detaching
* Shower door catches broken in two cabins, causing persistent banging
* Onboard sound system malfunctioning
* Multiple false activations of the SOS alert system
* Large kitchen knife snapped in half
* Leaking kettle
Finally, upon return home to the UK we were unexpectedly presented with a €200 charge for a toilet blockage, despite the toilet being fully functional at the end-of-charter inspection. This was highly surprising and did not reflect our experience onboard.
Overall, given the considerable cost of this holiday, the standard of service, vessel condition, and communication were far below expectations.

We are sorry to hear that the condition of the boat and the check-in procedure at the base did not meet your expectations. Although we’re glad the booking process through Sailogy was straightforward, we understand that the overall experience fell short of what you had hoped for.
Sailogy acts as an intermediary between our clients and the charter operators, ensuring a transparent and reliable booking experience. However, the boats and all operational services are managed directly by the local charter companies. As no report or assistance request was received from your side during the trip, our team unfortunately had no opportunity to step in and assist while you were on site.
To ensure we can provide timely help in the future, we always recommend contacting either the base staff or our support team right away if any issue arises during check-in or while on board.
We sincerely appreciate your trust in Sailogy and take your feedback seriously. It will be shared with the charter company involved so they can review and improve their service quality.

Caution with 3rd party company’s
Booking through Sailogy was no problem.
On arrival with JF yatchs the nightmare began.
Poor check in experience, despite counting the cash payment twice in front of three of our group and then counter signing to verify it was correct the JF rep contacted our skipper just prior to departure and said there had been an error and could we go back to the office. On arrival at the office it was suggested payment was 900 euros short, despite it being counted and verified by both parties as correct and paperwork signed to that effect just one hour previously.
We had paid also for early departure 14:30, we had engineers on the boat working until 15:30 which we understand but due to above office problems we left the marina at 17:30 which meant we had to sail into the evening arriving at 21:30, the check in experience soured the first day.
Boat was tatty.
Damaged hatches, one cracked, 2 not closing properly.
snapped /half carving knife left in drawer.
Kettle leaked, emptied its content over 2 hours.
2 shower door latches broken so doors not secured, any swell doors banging all day and night.
Ceiling panel in one bedroom hanging down.
2 fridges froze everything despite being on lowest setting.
Numerous problems with the anchor which caused the skipper many challenges which he over come but on two occasions lost over an hour of time helping the skipper to sort.
Power issues including causing the navigation system to send SOS message on 5 occasions.
We dealt with these problems in a positive way and the skipper noted them.
Skipper was first class.
Further to Sailogy response, we were advised that our skipper would be escalating all the problems encountered, i am unsure what Sailogy would have done when our anchor jammed, phone support would not have fixed it!
Our point has been missed, as per the title caution with 3rd party involvement.
