As you will see from the reply from SEHBAC they have again twisted the facts to avoid honouring their obligations under the 20 year guarantee and conveniently avoided the facts
THE ENGINEER STATED THAT BECAUSE SEHBAC HAD INSTALLED THE GUTTERING WRONGLY IF HAD DAMAGED THE BRICKWORK OVER A FIVE YEAR PERIOD - THAT IS NOT MY FAULT
I did raise a complaint with the glazing federation but never heard anything back somewhat surprised to hear they found in favour of SEHBAC without even speaking to me?????

This is quite a long review but it might save you a lot on money by NOT using this company….
As a retired couple we decided to have a large conservatory extension added to our house at a cost of around £55000
We were comforted by the fact that we received a 10 year guarantee with the extension
Early this year (5 years on from the build) we noticed some discolouration crumbling in the brickwork. We contacted SEHBAC who sent out an engineer who examined the problem and said the guttering had been incorrectly fitted and was causing leakage which was detrimentally eroding the brickwork, he promised that the guttering would be completed and the brickwork replaced under guarantee.
We were relieved by this and indeed the gutter was replaced , I was a bit annoyed that the fitter removed some leaf debris and dumped them under a shrub in the garden, I dropped a note and a photo to the company bringing this to their attention.
After waiting some weeks for a date to be agreed for the brickwork to be fixed I contacted the company who responded by saying that because some leaves had build up in the gutter the leak was my fault and they flatly refused to remedy the brickwork as the leakage was all my fault as I should clean the gutters more often. Please note the trained engineer never mentioned any problem with leaf build up when he visited ( because there was none!!) but SEHBAC would not budge.
I even wrote to the Managing Director, Peter Wheeler , who just reiterated the same line.
So much for a 10 year guarantee, so much for the expert analysis from SEHBAC’s own qualified engineer, they are clearly just wriggling out of their responsibilities.
As I sit writing this review I have a builder outside replacing the faulty brickwork at considerable cost to me.
Please take care if you consider dealing with this company who have taken advantage of us as they think we have no way of hitting back and they know it would cost a fortune for a retired couple to take on a big corporate company.
I note that SEHBAC tend to respond to feedback on this site and I wait with interest to see how they can spin this sorry experience to their advantage.

After a prompt visit this morning, our new front door was fitted without delay by Gav H. Everything went smoothly and the site was left clean and tidy, Very happy with the service from SEHBAC. Thank you.

I live abroad and so it was great to be able to trust that work would be carried out to a high standard.
Tommy and Paul did a great job. All thr neighbours are contacting us to say how great the windows look.

Stacey in the office also kept me updated on order and work schedule.

We have dealt with SEH many years and have always been very pleased with their products.

Since my first meeting with David Jacob’s in the showroom, everything has gone according to schedule, responses to questions received quickly and comprehensively.

Surveyor David Pratt came when expected, very experienced and was able to give us plenty of confidence in the process and timescale.

The two windows (one on the 2nd floor of a 3 storey, one in the ground floor kitchen) fitted by John and Paul. Arrived soon after 8am and left around 6pm working solidly throughout the day. Did a first class job, tidied up after themselves and were polite and courteous.

Everyone we had corresponded with at SEH (including Kim and Stacey) were excellent and had a great customer manner.

Bad communications, bad commitment, don't care about customer request / demand, don't care about customer complain.

I have already filled in one of these questionnaires .. & received a reply thanking me for my 5 Star Review.
But somehow .. I was listed as a Lakeside Customer .. instead of Chelmsford!
My Windows were fitted on Tuesday the 20th May & I am extremely pleased with them. As I said before ..
Consultant/ Surveyor/ Fitter/ .. all brilliant .. & I would definitely recommend SEHBAC to everyone.

Had all of our windows and external doors replaced, the quality and the service were both absolutely outstanding!! Special mention to the fitters Gav Tipple and Gav Hounson who did a fantastic job of installing them all!!

We had three external doors fitted. The whole process from start to finish was a pleasure. Excellent sales advice and guidance and the final fitting by Gav T and Gav H was excellent. Everything was very clean and tidy and both Gav T and Gav H went out of there way to ensure a top quality final finish with minimal disruption. We are extremely pleased with the new doors - they are top quality products. Thank you.

We have used SEH/BAC over a number of years for replacement windows and doors, replacing our final 3 windows this week. Reliable and trustworthy company with good after sales service. The fitters Marc and Nigel were on time, efficient and kept the mess to a minimum with sheets over the carpets. One pane was cracked but a replacement was ordered by the fitters on the day.

SEH BAC replaced our conservatory roof. Mark Heyward helped us find the best possible design, was very efficient and knowledgable; also - very importantly - no disgusting "sign today, or the price goes up" sales tactics! The main work was done by Daniel Goulding and Joel Smith - they did a quality work (in less than ideal space that was available) and cleaned up after themselves. Great job from the electrician and the plasterers, well supported by the 2 project managers. Overall, I can highly recommend SEH BAC for your home renovation work.

Very helpful sales and office personnel. Door was built, delivered and fitted on time. There were a couple of parts that were wrong but these were fixed very quickly. Overall very satisfied with the job.

Everything ran smoothly from initial purchase through to survey and installation.

Weve used Alex Papadopoulos twice now and each time he has gone above and beyond working tirelessly to get our quote done. Highly recommend.
Colin Bresnan our surveyor was meticulous and managed to get us the best options we could for our needs.
Our installers Paul Moss and Kirk Piddock were without doubt the best we've ever had. They were polite, friendly and extremely professional. We highly recommend using this company.

Everything about SEHBAC is amazing, from the initial service from Alex Papadopoulos which if quick, accurate and professional (we have used him twice now and will recommend highly). The surveyor Colin Bresnan was incredibly accurate and tailored our windows to our specific needs and then the installers, Paul Moss and Kirk Piddock they were the best workmen we've had, polite, tidy and extremely good at their jobs. Honestly the best service you could ever want.

Helpful, non pushy staff, good range of products at competitive price. Regular updates and smooth process from purchase to completion
