This card sucks. Do not use if planning to spend money online also cannot get ur money back some annoying girl on the phone would not send u to the supervisor and speaks so fast u might as well try to say poopledoodlegoodle 20 times and still won't be able to compare to the lady I'll NEVER. use again

I’d give the Serve debit cards a zero if I could. Be very aware of when you purchase this visa debit card. There is a fee each time you add money to the card. Not just the first purchase, EACH TIME you put money on the card. They charge you a $1.00 each time you make a purchase. They will only close the account if you have a zero balance - do not purchase.

I bought this card at Family Dollar and read the packaging which said that I had to register an account. Okay, sure. Only then to find out I didn't qualify and that I couldn't use the card at a hotel. They said they can't refund me by check and costumer service was terrible. They said they “could not get a supervisor” on the line. This whole thing is a scam. Just know, everyone who was scammed with this card and file a lawsuit, small claims. Do it so we can bring this company down. Never, EVER in your life buy a card like this.

Same I would rate this company a negative 10 if I could my deposit was sent on the 28th it is now the 30th and they keep saying one more day and after will ghost after trying to reach them for hours I just want my money! Never use jackson Hewitt

I only gave this one star because it would not allow me to give them zero this card sucks, their customer service suck and no one knows what tf they are talking about. If you got scammed into one of these like me by Jackson Hewitt ; I’m sorry

The card is not guaranteed prompt service it takes 3 days to process your cash deposit . I would not recommend

The company can not improve because they are unwilling and lack the capacity to do so. All they do, is defraud customers of their monies by collecting charges from an account that is not even activated nor registered. They have the worst service delivery and the worst customer service you can think of. I would had rated them 0 if it was possible.

Would put 0 as well as others. This place is a scam. I’ve tried to close my account after I realized they keep charging over $3 a month for fees. They claim to have an option to close the account and transfer to your bank account or request a check. Option never worked. I called them today to close it and they told me those options aren’t available but could never give me a reason why even though I kept asking. They said I should just spend it but every time I’ve tried, the full amount never goes through. I believe they do this so they can keep charging you. She then told me I could transfer to Walmart for pick up and claimed there was no fee. There is actually a $3.49 fee for that but she kept insisting there wasn’t. The transaction would not work until o subtracted that $3.49 from my total available. This place should not be allowed to operate with how dishonest they are. Let’s see now if I actually get my money from Walmart.

They have 0.Worst, Worst Worst. I bought gas, of $25, I had $100, all the rest was put to hold just because I used the card at the gas station. Called the customer service, she's telling me, it's for security purposes. The money will be refunded in 3 to 8 business days. Will never, ever buy or recommend them. They're scamming people.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This card won't let me take out more then $40 at a time. Then they charge you $5 each time. This card sucks avoid at all cost!!

I am absolutely bewildered that somehow a completely fraudulent criminal (serve) convinced Dollar General to put their cards up for sale in their store. I'm trying to transfer it out via Walmart pickup & if I'm not successful in doing so... I will personally spend 100x of what I lost on a monsterous lawyer.

The card never worked and I couldnt' get anyone to help.

Avoid at all costs, the worst prepaid card in existence. Will essentially steal your money. This is a scam.

RED FLAG! FRAUD!

I brought a Serve Visa card and put $40 on it September 19, 2025 to use for website I don't want my actual debit card on.....The same day I tried to use it > DECLINED!!!! I read the website they want you to put you to register and use a Social Security Number, THEY MUST BE CRAZY if they think im using my social security number for a pay-as-go card!!!
I called and got someone from Indiana who tells me that and I told him yall must be crazy to think someone going to register with SSN from a cheap company. I'm out of $40..DO NOT USE THEY ARE A SCAM OR IF YOU WANT TO GIVE UP YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TO SOME FOREIGN PEOPLE!!! Better Business Bureau need to get involved!!!

Well I called them 3 days ago to have my email updated and they said in 48 hours it would be updated and here it is 72 hours later and they still saying that I have to wait 48 hours for it to be updated they have not done anything I even talk to the supervisor and they are saying the same thing they are useless I would not recommend this bank use to anyone they are not helpful one bit

Terrible, bought a card and they refused to refund me, then they CHARGED me to talk to one of their service members.

Giving it one star because zero isn’t an option. I opened 4 days ago and the money is still pending but they were able to deduct the $9.95 fee. The reloadable Visa cards have immediate funds FYI

Card purchased, couldn't register it, then account drained by Serve.com with monthly fees until cards balance was 25 cents!!! This company is a fraud. They have multiple phone numbers, but only recorded messages. Can't reach a human at all. No email address to write to them about this. Unacceptable .
