Double hit on returns!!
Received confirmation of order but the amount did not show up as pending in my account so I waited until the latest date of the delivery window checked to see if the amount had been taken out which there was still no transaction showing for that order, so I re ordered knowing it hadnât arrived and I wasnât charged that order did show up as pending so I knew it had gone through ok, The next day the first order arrived having no confirmation before the delivery off the courier, the money was then showing as being taken out, I received the second order in which I returned and then was notified Iâd lose my £6+ express delivery charge and have a £6 return charge taken off my refund, only order of here if absolutely necessary

I placed an order on 29 December 2025, and itâs still sitting there untouched. Meanwhile, I ordered a Chelsea FC jersey on the exact same day and had it in my hands by 3 January 2025. The contrast is embarrassing. Everything connected to Manchester United feels like itâs rotting from the inside out. The club is a complete shambles from top to bottom and nothing short of a full-scale reset will fix this mess.

Not easy to rectify incorrect order received
I am so pleased to say that this HAS been resolved - and QUICKLY - using email. The personal touch is much better. I hope they sort out the computerised method of returns etc.
I began an order on December 10th for a shirt with MBuemo personalisation. A shirt arrived but without the personalisation. I began a return process which was eventually resolved. I then ordered a shirt again with Mbuemo personalisation . A shirt was received but with B.Fernandes personalisation. I used the approriate return portal, uploaded the image of the received, incorrect shirt and was told this was being forwarded to appropriate department. The response I received accepted the fault and asked me to state whether I would like a replacement shirt or a refund. As it was for a child's Christmas present I requested a replacement shirt. The response also said I would be kept informed as to progress. Despite being only able to get through via the help section of the portal, I had to make several requests all being dealt with by computer . I subsequently get the same type of email responses from several different people . I am still waiting to hear anything, or receive the shirt. My son and grandchildren have, over many years bought Manchester United shirts, all through the official shop or Megastore. There has been the odd 'blip' over the years but we have continued to support the club rather than go through the unofficial sites. This has been the worst situation. I hope this finds a rapid response, and solution, before I take it further.

I ordered 2 mini kits for Christmas present on the 5th of December and on the 19th I was sent a refund for one of them and I still have not received the other kit yet. The tracking is not working on the site so I donât know where it is
I had to reorder the one that I was refunded and the price had risen on United direct and I had to pay more for the second kit
Itâs shocking the level of service you get from this site and the customer is paying through the teeth for the products

Huge disappointment
Extremely disappointed with ordering with Manchester Unitedâs official website. They sent me the wrong hat, a cheaper version and and also when it arrived it was completely out of shape. I paid 70 and some dollars for this including the shipping. I asked for a refund so I could buy the right hat, at first they offered a 10% discount saying it was the right hat then 15 then 20% It took almost a month of me sending pictures and proving they sent me a cheaper hat than the one I ordered. They finally agreed for a refund I sent the hat back and they gave me 24$. I understand not paying back the shipping so not getting the full 70$ but the hat was 55$ plus tax and even if they made me pay 20$ shipping 24$ is still not what I was owed! Never ordering from them again.

I've had two deeply disappointing experiences with the United Store when purchasing United kits.
1) Ella Toone shirt for the United Womenâs FA Cup Final
Ordered two weeks before the final for my daughter, but the shirt never arrived. I eventually received a refund, yet my daughter went without her shirt on the day. There were no proactive updates, no way to speak to a person, and responses were slow and unhelpful â I had to chase repeatedly just to find out what was happening.
2) Christmas gift ordered 7 December
I ordered a kit for my niece and chased for updates as Christmas approached. Only on Christmas Eve was I told there would be a delay. This was especially frustrating given the store continued advertising Christmas delivery for shirt orders right up to the holiday, despite my ongoing issues.
Key concerns:
Lack of proactive communication and meaningful updates
No accessible, formal complaints process
Delivery promises advertised that werenât met in my case
Based on these experiences, I would avoid the United Store and purchase official merchandise through alternative retailers such as Sports Direct or Adidas until customer service and fulfilment processes are improved.

Awful customer service
I ordered a few items, including matching shirts for my husband and son for Christmas.
Items arrived 12th December, my husbands shirt had a visible hole on the outside of the packaging. I logged this issue on 13th December - sent full pictures of the shirt with the hole in the side, packaging fully intact, showed clearly the hole in the packaging and the shirt.
Received an email after a couple of days asking for photos, despite the fact there were photos on my original complaint, but ok, perhaps they didnât make it through the system, so I re uploaded and sent.
Didnât hear from them for a few more days and by now Christmas is fast approaching.
So, I contact them through the live chat, which seems to be âescalated to a managerâ - I do get a quicker reply, and the manager says that I can have a replacement or refund, I pick replacement because I want to shirt for a Christmas present - which I have stated multiple times. I donât hear back after that email, so I followed up again.
I received a generic âwe are looking into your emailâ from someone - I did wonder what they are looking into at this point as I believed it was resolved - ie, I have said I want a replacement, so surely at this point just send a replacement?? I email again to ask if this has been sent.
I donât get a reply (obviously).
So I email again, and on 23rd December I receive an email to say â We wanted to share a quick update. Your inquiry is still under review, and we're closely monitoring its progress. We'll be in touch as soon as we have further information to provide.â
At this point I realise that clearly the present wonât be arriving for Christmas.
What is possibly under review? Someone asked if I wanted a replacement - I said yes, surely thatâs then a case of putting the shirt in the post?
Itâs not good enough. This isnât customer service? What on earth is going on for any of the people involved in the customer service team to think this is how you treat customers?
Why is the head of customer service allowing this kind of thing to happen? Because reading the reviews itâs clear that there is a problem with the day to day running of the department.
People tend to leave reviews if they are either really unhappy or had a great experience.
I don't usually complain. I emailed customer service multiple times to put it right. They failed time and time again and now I donât really feel like there is a choice but to express how unhappy I am.
Do better. Itâs not hard to keep paying customers happy. DO BETTER.
If management is reading this your processes arenât effective and customers arenât happy. Faulty / damaged item received and nothing donât about it? What is that all about??
So, am I receiving a replacement? At this point who knows.
Iâd try and email again but who knows if that would even get a reply with any kind of action?

Item was ordered on 2/12/25, tracking stated that the parcel was received by Royal Mail on 3/12/25
It is now 23/12/25 and tracking still indicating itâs with Royal Mail.
I have contacted customer service, an automated service, numerous times with no chance of speaking to a person.
Told to be patient and someone will investigate and get back to me! Donât hold your breath!
