Return experience is bad

While I had no issues with the purchase experience, the return experience has been bad. I was forced to pay £6 for a 48hrs Royal Mail tracked label, which apparently is at a preferential rate, to return a jersey T-shirt. This is a joke. The same label costs less than £4 if I were allowed to arrange my own label with Royal Mail. The store only allows returns via their preferential rate of £6. Extortion!!! It's been 10 days since they have received the item and I still haven't heard about a refund. Very poor.

Best Black Friday Deals

Was able to get some pretty nice black friday deals last week. Good prices and good shopping experience so far. Especially love the Christmas sweater! Looking forward to seeing the team play in Jan:)

Disappointing placed a order 6 weeks ago two


I placed a order 6 weeks ago two manchester United santa hats for my adult kids so that they could were them for the games. They go to all United games at old Trafford. Still not recive the order I've Emailed on a few occasions and still no reply. I'd rather get my money back. But not holding my breath ill go through my bank and clame it back as a scam.

Poor customer service

I ordered the junior home kit with Ella Toone personalisation as part of the recent Black Friday promotion, which was 50% off plus free personalisation with Toone name and number. When I paid using Apple Pay the “free” personalition was added back on adding £20 to the price. I then emailed Manchester United to cancel the order and remade the order not using Apple Pay and the £20 was not added on. I didn’t get a response from Manchester United, but thought I would return the spare kit when it arrived. When the extra kit arrived, I am unable to return it as it has been “personalised”. I contacted Manchester United again to see whether this could be waived and again I did not get a response. The website is not set up to deal with Apple Pay and their customer services is non-existent. Maybe they are too busy with Black Friday but I would have through that an organisation as large as Manchester United could deal with this. I now have a spare football kit and am £65 out of pocket.

They bombard you with emails to try to rip you off

They bombard you with emails touting so-called amazing 50% off sales. Next, you get inundated with further "get an extra 5% off for 90 minutes only" offers to create a false sense of urgency. Meanwhile, the list prices are manipulated up and down depending on the sale discount. Even with the discounts, their prices are far more inflated than other sites like Fanatics or Adidas.

This shop utilizes every disgusting dark UI pattern imaginable to trick and manipulate users into taking actions they don't intend.

This blatant commercialization is absolutely disgusting and reflects poorly on the club I support, so much so that I'm seriously considering shifting my support to the Citizens!

EDIT post reply:
The dark UI I'm referring to is not about the color scheme but about the deliberate use of deceptive design patterns - a user interface that has been carefully crafted to trick users into doing things like creating a false sense of urgency, FOMO, and manipulating prices up and down.
So your response missed the mark entirely. Of course, I don't expect you to admit to the deceptive tactics your site employs, if you even noticed them. Your prices are scandalous for the same items one can find on other sites.

I have had the WORST experience with this online store. I purchased 4 items when the black friday period started and the price they quote on the website does not reflect the price they have charged me. I have emailed countless times for an explanation and they have tried to fob me off by saying it is the cost of VAT. VAT should already be incorporated into the price quoted on the website and not added after. I have been so frustrated with the lack of response that I requested to return the items. They charge £6 for returns!! This is daylight robbery considering you could send them yourself for half this price.
AVOID at all costs.

Damaged T shirt and bad delivery.

Ordered items in over £170 for Christmas gift, The Jersey T shirt arrived with a big scratch/pulled thread.
I’ve opened a ticket and got a response of please first wash the T shirt and lightly Iron it to try and solve the issue.
When I replied that this is a gift and that cost me a lot of money I got completely ignored and no one has come back to me since


In addition when you pay so much for good, you don’t expect to receive them in asos bag and on the floor of the mail room even though I’m waiting at home.

ManU gifts for fans!

I wanted to get some gjfts for ManU fans, family and friend. I loved the selection available on the ManU app. I also wanted to be sure the items were authentic. The styles and prices were very good.

More Sizes Needed

The only problem I had with purchasing from United Store is that certain sizes are not available for some items, hence the reason for only 4 stars. I ordered my son the home and away shirts for my son but unfortunately his size was not available for the third kit, disappointed as I like to get him the shirts yearly and I know from the United Store the items are 100% genuine.

Purchased the 3rd away shirt for my son


Purchased the 3rd away shirt for my son with it being on his Xmas list. Arrived in good time but the print on the back was not even straight. Reported it to customer services and provided two photos. Email back saying the photos were not good enough and that I should lay it down for better viewing. My photo was taken on a flat surface so it was clear that they were trying to waste my time and brush me off in hope I would just accept a top with a wonky name and number. Really disappointed in the reply’s. Better off buying fake and much cheaper. still on going, think I’m spending all that money to have a name and number that’s not even straight. They won’t win, such poor customer support and service. Shame on you MUFC

Beware! Really poor returns policy

The store has some good quality goods. HOWEVER, be careful what you order. Make sure the size is right because the returns procedure is terrible. I ordered a number of items which meant I got free delivery, but two items were too big and I needed to replace them. It cost me £6 to do so which was taken out of my refund and then I had to reorder smaller sizes and was then charged delivery. So the discounts I was offered to buy the gear in the first place was null and void. Not good.

UPDATE.

I’ve read the reply from United. I took the time to email them as they requested. However the email address the they have provided doesn’t work. Nuff said!
