Its a scam - refused to answer my emails and never answer the phone - starting legal action

Scam scam,Very very poor customer service I paid 700 and ingliner never worked my teeth still the same when I ask for refund they said we don't do it and I have told do another scan from another private dentist which cost me £100 lucky very cheap in barnet I send to them but since then am waiting and they don't answer the phone or no replay to email this is a scam please avoid

Worst company ever. Do not use them. Complete con artists. Deserve 0 stars.

aligners simply did not work. after requesting a refund/ a response. they have not returned my emails after nearly a month of trying to get hold of them.

I purchased a dental plan with Straight My Teeth in December of last year. I paid the full retail price of £750.
I could tell right away that their customer service was inefficient because after I received my 22 aligners and 3 retainers, I sent them an email with numerous questions and never received an answer. As a result, I did not send them the monthly photos that they requested. I completed the treatment and wore the aligners for nearly 24 hours, only taking them out to drink or eat.
I finished the treatment, and while I'm pleased with the lower teeth results, I'm not pleased with the upper ones. So, I decided to contact Straight my teeth and ask them information about purchasing additional aligners so I could proceed with the treatment and have the results I was looking for.
I received an email from them in which they stated that I would have to pay an additional £200 for the upper and lower impression moulds, additional aligners, and three pairs of retainers.
When I reached out to request additional information in order to proceed with the payment, I was given an excuse and told that the labs were being redone and that they would get back to me later. Of course, this never occurred.
Please pay a little more for your aligners if you can, so that you can have a decent and respectful company supporting you and your treatment, as well as a much better customer service than Straight my Teeth.
Choose a company that does not mislead you with additional prices and treatments and then fails to deliver on them.
Straight My Teeth is to avoid all costs.

Very dodgy business - I paid for teeth whitening which was never sent, now they are ignoring my emails and messages on the chat bot. Please avoid at all costs - definitely a scam.

I completed my initial treatment but after 6 months my teeth were still not straight, so I paid more money for further refinement (teeth still not straight). As time has gone on the response from my allocated worker 'Sarah' has been very poor. My retainer snapped in half and after emailing asking for another, they have responded saying they are undergoing renovations and are no longer taking orders, doing refinements or aligner fabrications and to see my own dentist!!!! It really feels like now they have had my money they are not interested anymore

The trays were the wrong size for me. I was told I was going to get new ones delivered. I have been waiting for 2 months and I haven't received anything.

Complete scam! Wish I’d read the reviews first. I paid two instalments and then the plan was cancelled with them claiming there’s a production delay with the aligners but now ignoring my emails for a refund. £500 lost. DONT USE THEM!!

Guys.. believe me this is not even a company it's a few scammers that are based in Asia (not the UK as they claim). They'll take your money and they'll keep asking for more if you let them..once they feel like they can no longer take more money from you or if you ask for a refund they'll ignore your emails all together and if they reply they'll just come up with too many excuses.. they basically think people are stupid and they don't really care about customers.. they're fake.. please don't be fooled. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THESE SCAMMERS!

Straight my teeth seemed like a great idea for me. However, it’s not been without it’s issues.
I ordered my kit in January, taking moulds proved a little more difficult then I had anticipated, they didn’t provide enough imprint moulds, when I requested more they wanted to charge a ridiculous amount for them, so I ordered from Amazon for less than half the price.
I took the moulds, sent off the pics, it took maybe around a week for them to get back to me about their suitability, which made the process long and drawn out.
Finally, suitable ones were sent off for my aligners to be made. First I was sent a video project to approve, they looked straight so I approved it. A few weeks later I got my aligners!
I began my treatment, i had 19 for my upper and 21 for my lower, however, I when I reached aligner 11 it would not slot in over my teeth….. i contacted them and no swift response (as it’s all by email), so I tried the next stage which did slot in.
Time went on, initially my teeth looked worse, but I trusted the process.
I did notice that the plastic used to create the aligners was a bit flimsy, despite taking out the aligners to eat and drink I still managed to wear holes in them within 10 days, one even cracked.
I finally reached the end of my treatment, only to discover that I have a 1/2mm gap between 2 of my teeth on my upper front right side. I contacted SMT 3 times regarding this. The first time they said they could fix this for an additional £300, but I’ve paid for a complete treatment…. The second time i was ignored. The third time i received a response to say they are under renovation and to wear my retainer, which does not solve my issue. Furthermore, I was given 3 retainers, the first one increased the gap! The second one broke and now I’m on my third set, I’ve been wearing them for 2 months and they’re expected to last a minimum of 6 months.

I am not partial happy that my treatment isn’t complete and they are difficult to communicate with, and appear to be avoiding their end of the agreement.

I wouldn’t recommend them, i wish I’d paid more and gone with invisilign.

They have almost certainly gone under. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. They won't answer the phone or any emails. Worse than this, they are still taking money from their website (in fact they have put the prices up, seemingly to try and squeeze as much money as they can out of the poor unsuspecting public. Surely illegal as they don't seem to have any intentions to honour any purchases). Legal action will be undertaken (check out Facebook etc, you will see lots of angry customers). DO NOT BE TEMPTED... PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THESE SCAM ARTISTS

No response. Paid almost 700. Some impressions weren’t accepted. Around almost 10 by the way. Keep getting told to pay more and more for some in the post and now that I’ve complained to their so called support team I have gotten NO response, NO help, and I’ve asked for a refund and gotten NO response since. Bloody fraud. Google the company on gov.uk to find out their directors and addresses.

Absolutely effing pointless.

Got to the end of my process and used the retainers for three days. The top set cracked while I was asleep and the sharp part cut my inner lip open. When I emailed “Sarah” for a replacement she told me to use the last set. Okay fine.
Used those for a few days and then when I put them in for the night they too cracked in the same place.

I got told they were “under refurbishment” so I’m to go to another provider. Out of my own pocket I may add. No one answers the phone or emails so now my teeth are returning to their previous state before I started. I’m not happy at all and will be requiring a full refund so that I can go elsewhere. If I could do 0 stars I would!!

I started my process in early 2021 and received my aligners shortly after. Generally all has gone well and my results aren’t too bad. Initially the customer service and response times were good but I feel they began to slip over time.
I’m June 2022 when my process was finished I emailed to enquire about further refinement, which I was happy to pay for, but didn’t receive a response.
I have now started to see further misalignment so emailed again to chase up my initial enquiry and have been told the following:
“…This is to inform you that due to some undergoing renovations, we are not accepting any orders, refinements, or retainer fabrications. You are requested to please consult your local dentist for any further adjustments. Your support is highly appreciated.”

It looks like the business has unfortunately fallen apart which is a real shame. Initially things were going well but now it’s a different story. I share this so others can hopefully find a more stable service elsewhere.

An absolutely disgusting company!

I have been ignored by Sarah for almost two months now about my £750 refund for my braces because they did not work at all for my teeth!

This company also has a 4-5 week delay on braces. I currently do not have any and I am back to step one!

I HAVE OFFICIALLY BEEN RIPPED OFF BY THESE PEOPLE.

I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!

VERY BAD SERVICE

I have been two years with them and no aligners. I only was sent aligners for three months then they said they had problems with the delivery process. Then we had to start all over again with the process because my teeth had moved after many months of them not sending me my aligners. And it’s been several months this time and I haven’t even been sent the PREVIEW of the treatment. Not even. I asked for the full refund because two years and not even having started my journey is SAD. And they are not answering.
Not a serious company, not good service and it will ruin your patience.

I have been "waiting" for my retainers for 1 year now. It has come to a point where they don't pick up my calls and don't answer my emails.

I need to seek legal advise now on how to get my money back. Horrible place, do yourself a favour and AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

*AVOID AVOID* Everything was going great until my retainers they did not fit me at all and my bite was fully ruined from my left side (molars crashing) i have emailed a number of times and get the same respomse "experts are viewing this matter" wel the experts have been reviewing this matter for 3 months now. Currently still wearing my last set as retainers dont fit i feel CONNED!
