This is a scam. I made a purchase but have not received the aligners. All support emails are no longer available. They took off with my money

Stay well away - like others Zack and Sarah (who dont actually exist) never respond - have been waiting for 5 months and received nothing - pursuing them through credit card company and then Court - this company is a massive SCAM
Extremely disappointed - 4 Months later and still no product or refund.
I am extremely disappointed with the level of service provided by Straight My Teeth.
Having paid £900 up front for my treatment, the front-end staff were extremely responsive and quick to send out my impressions kit.
From that moment onwards I have had zero communication other than automated responses from their helpdesk/CRM.
To be prompted to leave a trust pilot review at this point in time clearly shows how tone deaf and disconnected Straight My Teeth are from their customers.
I do fear that this is a scam and I am actively seeking support in claiming a refund through third-party services.
I see that both directors of this company (Omer Zia & Farhan Barlow) have been involved in other similar companies such as Alpha Veneers & Dento Correct - all of which have been down and/or are in liquidation.
I will be filing a section 75 claim with my bank and advise that anyone in a similar position do the same.
Steer clear.

ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! / LIES
I’m on my last step but my teeth has BARELY changed from the start. My main concern of having crooked front tooth has NOT been fixed and they have left me with NEW gaps in my lower front teeth which I didn’t have before?! Totally unacceptable and unprofessional which I emailed them about and I got a reply saying “the results are well achieved”. They are lying to their customers, what my teeth look like now and what they had promised in the treatment preview are complete lies. Don’t believe in their “treatment previews” because I am left with new gaps in my lower teeth and my twisted front tooth ( my main concern which I had elaborated form the start) not even fixed. Instead, they are trying to extort more money from me saying “if you would like further adjustments in the arch, you can opt for refinement which will cost you GBP150. Please advise how you wish to proceed.” In other words, if you want to fix your crooked tooth, pay more. And I found out that this is not only happening to me but others too so I am not the first one they have done this to. I am speechless at their shamelessness to ask for more money to fix their own mistake!
Not to mention the fact that I wasn’t given enough impression material. They sent me larger trays after we found out small trays were not the right size but they gave the same amount of putty used for the small trays. For the small trays, the base to catalyst ratio was 1:1 and they gave 2 bases and 2 catalysts to have two attempts at it., but for the larger trays, they asked me to use 1 and a 3/4 base and catalyst which meant I could only make one impression. After 2 months back and forth with making impressions that weren’t “workable”, they finally “approved” of one but when the 1st set of aligners arrived, the fittings were not right and I was asked to make a visit to their studio all the way in Staines for another £44.99 or they would send another “free” impressions kit but I had to pay £25 for shipping when they didn’t even give me enough impression material for two attempts. They wasted my time and money for a trip to Staines when they weren’t even gonna fix my teeth in the first place.
Even after I started my treatment, I started having problems where the aligners were not fitting on my teeth, they told me to buy and use cotton chewies which hardly helped and the ill-fittings were just causing me pain. My teeth are now wobbly and I am stuck with gaps in my front teeth and my main concern of crooked front tooth not fixed at all! If you want proof, I will gladly send you my pictures and their emails.
Not a scam, just an awful product and company
Completed a full treatment, teeth were still wonky at the end and most of the way through the braces didn’t fit properly at all.
Final retainer didn’t fit well and actually shattered in my mouth when I was asleep, I woke up to sharp segments of plastic everywhere.
Raised the issue with them and they said I would have to pay money for a new set of braces from them to achieve the straight teeth result I wanted. I paid them and I never received my braces, money back or any further correspondence.
Not a scam just a terrible product and now it appears they will likely close and open in a new name…

I don't know what is happening but this company is not respecting there contracts, they send me the last retainer and I fiI felt that he was pushing my teeth, but I thought it was just a mistake, in a few days, there was a gap between my teeth, I've been trying to contact them for more than a month and I'm ignorant, even certain emails don't go through anymore, which makes sense that they fired employees
Permanently closed, and they owe customers money
SMT is now listed as 'Permanently closed" on Google and have finally stopped processing orders. It appears that they continued to take money from customers even when the business was going into administration, which is shameful.
I started treatment with SMT in 2021. The communication was pretty poor to begin with, although after a few weeks I managed to get the treatment started. Things were generally OK, although when aligners didn't fit the usual response was "use chewies" and it was a struggle to get specific questions answered. This is probably why, at the end of my treatment, my teeth weren't totally straight (although I got about 95% there). I was told I could get "refinement treatment" for an additional cost - SMT wanted me to pay £200 but I got it down to £170 (somewhat telling about how professional they claimed to be). They sent me trays - no box, no instructions, the wrong size even though I specifically asked for large trays. Sent me new ones; I did the impressions and sent them back, communication got progressively worse before stopping entirely - then they finally went out of business.
I managed to get my money back for the refinement treatment via my credit card provider, so I would request anyone who is owed money by SMT and paid via credit card to do the same.

This is my first ever negative review in my 36 years.
I’ve been a customer for a while. I bought the night time retainers in lockdown. There were lots of ‘teething issues’. My treatment finished earlier this year and it was clear that they short changed me one or two of my braces so I would have to pay for a refinement.
Frustratingly I paid for this refinement in June/July. I got the impression kit and sent these back a month or so later (as I had caught covid in this time). I sent the impressions and they got lost in transit but I was none the wiser due to the generic emails sent to me by Sarah which gave the impression they were being dealt with.
Multiple emails were sent by me and ignored. Called the sales line as once you commit and need help- no one picks up the customer service number.
Was assured a new impressions kit would be with me by the end of the week. A month plus has passed, again and nothing has been received despite the multiple chasers to Sarah and support. Received the below weeks after it should have been sent and have still not received anything despite chasers after the below was received on 22/10/22
‘Hope you are doing well. I would like to inform you that the shipping department has already been notified and they will soon ship the impression material. Once you received the shipment kindly notify me so that I can assist you further. You will be notified of the tracking details once they are shipped.
Your support and patience are highly appreciated.’
Such a shame because it’s the final stages that need completing but in summary, spend a bit more money elsewhere. Everything they do is calculated to frustrate you and to take your money without the provision of the service paid for.

This is an absolute scam!
Paid the deposit £339. They sent the kit out to do the moulds. After doing the moulds I’ve sent them back recorded delivery they have been signed for and now nothing.
I’ve called, emailed and done a live chat but get nothing and nowhere.
The Direct debit was cancelled after one payment (not by me) and I’ve received nothing.

I paid £750 for night time aligners from Straight My Teeth on 08/03/22.
Received the mould pack with instructions in the post.
Followed instructions, moulds weren’t good and needed to be done again.
Did the moulds again, still weren’t good.
Was told to wait around 4-5 weeks for a video appointment to repeat the process again.
Video appointment occurred and did the moulds in exactly the same way I was doing them in the first
place. Moulds still weren’t good.
Was told I’d need to pay £30 to get more materials. Declined paying – I'd already paid £749 and I’d
been doing things correctly as proved when your video assistant performed the same process.
Got the new moulds in the post – the materials were loose in an envelope and covered in dust. The
lack of hygiene was really concerning. I washed them just to be sure, but this still isn’t acceptable.
Did the moulds in exactly the same way again. They were believed to be correct this time.
Received plastic moulds again loose in an envelope with absolutely no packaging, no
letter/instructions and covered in dust. These are items that go in the mouth and they weren't even
packaged!
Wore the moulds for a few nights – quite painful. I then contacted them again to ask for more
guidance on how long to wear these for, what the instructions should be etc. It turned out that these
were a test fitting and not the actual moulds so I had worn them for a few painful nights because of
your company's laziness/negligence.
I then had another set of moulds to try again. The top set were fine apparently, but I needed a video
call to do the bottom set.
I did the video call. It turns out the bottom plastic was the wrong size.
I’d therefore need another set of moulds and a large plastic bottom piece – of course, your staff
requested another £30 charge for their mistake.
I refused to pay the £30 and said it was time to cut the losses and give me my money back. Nobody
responded to my email request.
I emailed again to request my money back, ignored again.
I emailed again because the company are not competent of providing a service.
Communications:
There must be around a hundred emails over the last 6 months, but they are mostly jumbled,
contradictory, sometimes reference an attachment that isn't attached. Any responses I make to these
emails are simply not read and are met with a response that doesn't match the question I have asked.
It's IMPOSSIBLE to communicate with somebody who doesn't read your emails in the first instance
and there is simply no progress, just a process loop that I am stuck in.
I've called Operations Coordinator Jason Barlow on 07469808457 around 20 times, text messaged 3
times, left 5 answer phone messages over the last 2 weeks. I'm starting to Whatsapp now also to try
another method. I did get one call back at one point, but he has since returned to ignoring me and
does not want dialogue.
I've called Service support 3 times, but the staff do not care in any way that I've been going around in
circles for 6 months and are wanting to keep me on the merry go round. They sound like they've just
got out of bed.
I've called the Reception around 15 times, on 01784469670 and had 1 answer from Danielle who took
note of my issue, but since then the phone has not been answered.
I'm unable to confront them at their office as it's nearly 4 hours drive.
I'm looking at the legal route or small claims court.

As all other comments, awful company, take your money and provide you with an,awful service. Aligners don't work, are made of poor quality plastic. Bend to your teeth rather than moving your teeth correctly.
Ask for more money, when don't get anything they then say it has been referred to relevant department when complain. It has been a wasted 10 months of my life with these aligners. Save your money or spend it elsewhere. Needs to be some sort of action law suite against them

I ordered impressions back in June and purchased via PayPal, I then I had an email from Sarah (this must be their automated email as the replies never seem to be written correctly and seems very robotic like) to say that I have to confirm a preview model online to show what my teeth will look like after completing the aligners, I accepted this and was told that I will be sent out one set of “fabrication aligners” these were apparently to check that they make the correct fitting aligners and then I will be sent out the rest when I confirm if they fit, however they didn’t they were way off from my natural teeth and I could fit them in my mouth at all! I emailed “Sarah” to explain the fabrication aligners do not fit and she replied that I had to take pictures to prove this so I did. I was then told that it will take 10-14business days for them to get back to me (this was back in September) and then I heard absolutely nothing from them, no communication whatsoever, I had tried emailing and calling and I get no response. I decided to go through PayPal as I was so fed up with being ignored and then I read all the reviews of people having gone through the same using this dreadful company, PayPal somehow sided with the seller and the case was closed so now there is no way I can get my money back I am now £800 down with no clear aligners! I am So angry!

Do not use. They took £700 in March and despite sending in several sets of impressions, I neber recieved braces, very slow email responses and lots of excuses. Total scam, don't do it. I'm now starting legal proceeding to try and get my money back.
