I wanted a quote for insuring a new car. Your sales team were helpful and professional. I had all the info explained and the documents emailed to me promptly. Kit was a competitive quote.

First time ever had to avail of the "Emergency" boiler cover, contained within my home insurance policy. Saturday 17th October, we had a boiler break down, with no heating or hot water. I rang AA and was told had to wait 4 hours to be addressed. Some 5 hours later I called back for an update, was advised the technician assigned would be unable to attend until Monday 19th October. Advising this was not good enough, the call handler attempted to assign another company to address, whereby she would keep me updated. Now Wednesday 21st October and still waiting for an update. I have however updated AA and told them their emergency cover is not fit for purpose and to cancel my policy.

After entering all my details online I managed to speak to someone on the phone who was very helpful and clarified some details I wasn't sure of. Also I saved £200 on the insurance compared.with Churchill.

Received the initial quote from a comparison site. On interrogation it switched to AA's website and showed the 3 levels available and comparisons of the cover provided and prices. Quite straightforward and also to make any changes such as the voluntary excess. Selected the higher cover provided by the AA Platinum policy. A competitive price and all the docs are available on the website on payment. 4* at present as I have yet to experience the claim process - which hopefully I won't have to.

Easy to use website and a better initial price overall than others compared. I upgraded from the basic to the Gold package as it included what I required and still it was a better offer than others I had tried. Including my present insurance company who had ramped up my insurance quote and would not deflate it! The AA all the way. They even beat the RAC insurance by £100.
