A person to speak to not a machine nice to hear a human

The whole process of buying my car insurance online was very easy to do.
I also had the option to talk to a customer service person if I needed to.

Easy to complete & very good quote

Auto messages / options on phone and wait time too long!
Live chat button did nothing!
Would prefer a general customer services email with a response(not acknowledgement) time of 5 working days would do me.)

History: Tried to change one of my contact numbers on my insurance policy. Filled in the form. Got a email reply headed "Breakdown cover ..."!! Asking me to call as further information was required! The auto message asked for 16-digit membership number, yet my query had nothing to do with any breakdown. Perhaps the form I completed went to the wrong department and so I was provided the wrong number to phone - who knows! Then I sent my query to the customer complaints email, now I'll probably wait 4-8 weeks for a resolution.

The person I spoke with explained everything I asked She was polite , competent & friendly

Such a change to get someone who is willing to take more time listening to an elderly ladies problems. Lovely geordie accent too!

Best quote for home Insurance, easy access to website ,smooth no fuss online purchase of policy and exceptionally easy access to online account. So far so good.

Competitive pricing offering all the basics anyone would look for, not as competitive in the monthly payments percentage taken. Was easy enough to go through the quote but a bit confusing when asked to purchase a hired car for example when I have a courtesy car included. Once the first payment was activated there was no information on whether this was successful or not. Tried calling but must have been a public holiday and the office was closed.
Luckily, I did receive an email the following day confirming accepted. Not the best experience.

To register my account i have to receive a verification email and have 1 minute to receive it. I am not receiving it for at least 4-5 minutes where it has already timed out. I can register.

It was strate forward and easy to complete all the paper work and took no time at all would definitely recommend AA
