Buyer beware!!
Buyer beware!!
I "thought" that I was insured with The AA. This was clearly not the case!
I then learned that I was actually insured with Covea. The AA are simply a broker Im told.
After my wife reversed in to car I contacted the AA and was told that I would need to contact Covea.
Apart from being annoyed with the AA, the experience continued to go down hill!
I have been waiting three weeks and have not seen any progress. I have called weekly for an update, submitted two sets of photos and I have been told that they will only be paying for 79% of the clain as my named drver had an undeclared SP30, not known to me and a genuine mistake!
I get the feeling that this company are delaying as much as possible and will continue to reduce the level of payout.
Never again!

Easy to understand and simple form fill-in. Price was comparable with the rest of the sites I visited

Had to take them to court
A part was missing after a repair. They refused to take responsibility. I took them to court and won, but it was an absolute pain. They now refused to speak to me except through their lawyer, even though I am still their customer. Will definitely not be renewing.

COMPETITIVE HOME INSURANCE
Purchased through Money Supermarket.com I went out to quotation on my annual home insurance after a substantially more expensive renewal quote from my existing insurers. (Always the way).
AA came out on tops, not because it was the cheapest but because of the inclusions it covered that other quotations did not. All in all very competitive and ease of purchase through their website.
Shopping around for insurance is a must and for the year ahead, the AA came out on top for me.
