I hadn’t used positive birth company with my first or hypno birthing in fact. I used the book, hypnobirthing course and the Freya app. The app was my best friend through labour and it was incredible and so useful! Even tells you when to call a midwife! I recommend the positive birth company to everyone I meet!

The materials are very easy to understand and to implement. Me and my both birth partners took the course and made a huge difference. We were in-sync!

Great tool for learning all about birth.

My birthing partner also done the course and we both learnt a lot and had more of an idea what to expect.

The Facebook page has lots of positive birth stories which also helped and are nice to read (I still read them now 2 years later). It shows how all birthing experiences are different and you can take tips from other mamas.

We also used the Freya app which helped too 🤩

Hypno birth course is amazing, as a first time mum I was so worried about birth but this course has put me at ease! I have managed 2 and a half days of labour at home thanks to the breathing techniques! I was very relaxed and this has 100% helped with contractions.
I recommend the course to all my friends and family who are expecting.

Two babies, one came at 36weeks unexpected (during covid) and the other was a planned virginal breech birth. I'm sure as you know neither are what you would choose. However I can promise you both were magical and my breech birth was painfree. What did I do? Both times I did this course. I trusted my instincts and listened to all the amazing advice from this. I recommend to everyone, I thank my lucky starts that I was able to have a drug free hands off birth both times. I was positive, relaxed and just in total awe. Not forgetting the amazing community in FB. THANK YOU PBC xxx

The hypnobirthing course gave me so much confidence in myself and my body! I loved how it explained exactly what was going on in the body during labour which helped me understand everything I was feeling! I knew my baby would come when she was ready and I birthed her feeling empowered!

I did the online hypnobirthing course with my partner. It was very thorough but also very accessible. It can be done in bitesize chunks and I found it easier to process all the information. It totally changed the framework and narrative I had around birth. The science was actually the most helpful, to really understand what your body does and how it all works. Everything suddenly became less scary. It also opened my mind to all benefits and risks during childbirth, which meant that I felt informed and more confident to communicate my needs. I also loved the help there was around birth plans, which actually they refer to as 'Birth preferences'. I wrote three, for all possibilities and so it kept my mind open to change and therefore ready for any possibility. This course is also very affordable. I highly recommend it. Even if you have elected a C-section. Knowledge is POWER.

Made me feel really confident about my first labour. Loved it.

I'm really grateful for having found PBC as a first time mum. I didn't feel I could justify the cost of other courses and so the value of the PBC hypnobirthing course really can't be beat. I liked that my partner and I could go through the course at my own pace as I was exhausted during my pregnancy. I had read some other hypnobirthing resources prior but found them to actually increase my anxiety because of a very negative view of health care institutions and interventions. I found PBC had a more balanced approach and was the most informative for me in teaching me how my body actually works in labour. This was the most empowering thing for me going into the birth. The associated Facebook group was so helpful in sharing a very wide variety of positive birth stories. When I found out I needed an induction, I specifically sought out positive induction stories there and on the website which helped me get in a better head space about it. I also did the post-partum pack which really is just as valuable. I just wish I had made time for it before labour had started! Would 100% use PBC for future pregnancies.

The BEST!! I recommend this course to every pregnant person I know. This course should be MANDATORY for every one and should be taught in school!! I was mind blown after the first few chapters, everything was so logical and made so much sense. I went from being terrified of child birth to being genuinely excited to go in to labour and give birth.
I finished the course feeling like “well if my birth goes completely tits up, at least I’m enjoying my pregnancy and not worrying about birth”, it’s worth doing the course just for this feeling of being able to enjoy your pregnancy and actually look forward to childbirth.
My waters broke 5 days before my due date and my daughter was born 10 hours later. It was such an amazing feeling!

Couldn't recommend highly enough. Used for my second birth in 2023 after a bad first experience in 2017 with my eldest son. Honestly had a totally amazing birth. So different. Although nothing went as I'd planned, i still feel so positive and would happily go through it all again (if my husband would let me 😆) all thanks to the positive birth company!

I'd heard and seen hypnobirthing whilst I studied as a student midwife - but knew nothing about it at all and thought it was a bit hippy. Fast forward to my own first pregnancy in 2019/2020 and I found myself looking in to it, I purchased the course after doing the free 1hr taster session and found it extremely useful - even as someone who studied midwifery for 2 years before moving on to another profession, there was loads to learn. I liked how this course essentially helps you build a tool box of techniques to help make your birth positive - no matter what format that ends up taking (induction, section etc). It can be very empowering.

I'm now pregnant with my second and I'm using the course again - going over the breathing techniques etc, I found the Freya app positive affirmations excellent through labour and got really emotional when I played them again recently! I had a lovely home birth with my first and this course helped keep me in the green whilst in labour. Thanks PBC xx

Prepared me so well for my birth. Of course you need to be aware when intervention is useful, like some people mentioned the course is a lot about how to give birth without intervention, however I find it is common human sense to listen to a doctor if they say that intervention is now needed and it could be dangerous for you and baby if you decline. The course is about positive thinking and going with the flow of birth, to me that made a huge difference as I did not get stuck in anxious thoughts. The Freya app was a life saver, when my midwife arrived to check on me for the first time she was amazed on how calm I was and that was all thanks to the course and the app. 100% recommend
