I've used them for multiple boxes over the years. I've had small pickup issues but overall it was as expected service, no complaints there.
The last package sent was rediculous, they billed me an additional $50approx due to the box being "larger than quoted."
I weighed and measured the package 3x and remain 100% confident it was exactly as entered. It's not my first rodeo, I've packaged 100's of boxes over the years and dealt with many freight companies so understand the importance of knowing the package details. For that reason, I've never been billed extra before.
This time though, they told me it was larger and auto billed $50 more. No proof, just auto billed. I didn't have the thought to photograph and proof my package details, didn't think I needed to when I was conservative in the sizes and weight provided to be safe.
Their response to my complaint is that the companies use very accurate measuring to work this out. When I ask for proof, they said they don't need to provide any but they expect me to provide proof it wasn't larger.
Lesson learned. Guilty until proven innocent. The fact you allow your contractors to add size to packages to pad their incomes without proof is crazy. If they want to bill more, how hard is it for them to photograph the proof of the error knowing the person will obviously contest it.
They are likely required to do this and lost the proof because it doesn't exist I can assume but don't want to face the music.
Follow the money, they earn more if they pad out a few packages here and there, easy to get away with obviously.
I haven't left a negative review on something in 10+yrs but this annoyed me so much here it is. Do better Transdirect and hold your contractors accountable to prove their additional billings. The blame still falls with you to allow them to do this without proof is crazy to place that burden on the client.

Probably the worst delivery service I've ever experienced. Transdirect refused to deliver product to my door as there were stairs (12)!! They offered for me to go way out west to their warehouse to pickup my item after I paid $350 to transport it from Melbourne. Or they offered to deliver it curbside- ie dump a large piece of furniture on the roadside because they only employ one person for the delivery of a 90kg item, the weight of which was indicated on the request for a quote form. Appalling service and an absolute nightmare to deal with. DO NOT use.......

Unresolved lost item issue
My wife consigned an item through transdirect for priority over night freight in late October. The item failed to update in the tracking and we had no contact about it. When we requested an update, we were advised that we needed to pay more and they were unsure where the item was. To get to this point it took another 2 to 3 weeks. It took until early December for them to confirm the item could not be located and for us to confirm the value of the item. We provided an approximate value and have heard nothing since. Their process for the rectification of issues is ham fisted to be diplomatic. Couple this with a lack of urgency in their customer service to follow an issue through to resolution and you end up with issues left unresolved for months on end. At no point has there been any attempt at contact via anything other than email. I will be recommending to all I speak to, to avoid transdirect at all costs.

Transdirect donât actually manage your delivery, they take your pre-payment and you need to follow up on everything yourself.
Even after lodging two tickets for the same delivery not being collected, there was no follow up or communication.

Cheaper and faster than posting! I wanted to get a Christmas dress to my daughter overnight but couldn't face the long queues at the post office. I found Transdirect and to my amazement it cost less than 6 bucks to get it to her the next day. All I had to do was put the dress in an envelope, download the form and stick it on the envelope. The messenger picked it up within an hour and delivered it the next morning - it was cheaper and faster than the post office!
