Information about fees is noted in various places on our site, including whilst auctions are live, when hovering over individual lots to view the lot location, and on our fees and shipping pages. We aim to be as transparent as possible and advise customers to check all relevant costs, including any customs charges which are not set by us, before placing a bid. Thank you for your review. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Our fees consist of buyer commission and the relevant shipping charges for the destination, and these are detailed in several places across our site so bidders can review the full cost before taking part in an auction. When purchasing European lots for delivery to the UK, additional customs charges may apply. These are collected by the courier and are not set by us.

Our optional loss and damage cover is offered because carrier liability varies depending on destination, route and service level, and may not reflect the value or nature of the bottles shipped. It remains entirely the customer’s choice.

Thank you for your review. Our monthly auctions are designed to run as a single event, which means all lots open and close together. This allows bidders who are active near the end of the auction to move between lots if they wish, and many online auction platforms operate in a similar way. Any taxes or import charges are set by destination countries and are unfortunately outside our control. Our prices reflect the quality of packaging, materials and couriers we use to ensure bottles arrive quickly and safely. UK to UK delivery for a standard 75cl bottle starts at £11, and EU to UK shipments begin at £40 due to the greater distance involved. We review our pricing regularly to stay as competitive as possible and your feedback is appreciated.
