Installation of Wightfibre

I was worried about the installation not wanting my garden dug up to lay the access cable - the engineers were excellent and listened to my concerns and made sure I was happy with the install. I now have much cheaper internet as a result!!

Great engineer team and an efficient…

Great engineer team and an efficient installation.
Unfortunately when I contacted my old provider, the handover process didnt seem to have been been set up... hopefully I won't have to pay for both, for the months notice period.😒

Very happy we have changed to WightFibre

After about 15 years with TalkTalk we recently had problems with very slow Internet, more than once. Although we were long standing customers they didn’t want to help or resolve our problem. We have now returned their Router & have to pay them £80 for cancelling our contract with them. We decided to go with WightFibre. So pleased we did. Very fast Internet connection. The installers, Lenny & Sam (I think) were very nice. So pleased we have changed. Thankyou

My daughter and son got a much better…

My daughter and son got a much better deal at their house than mine . And mine is very basic with no add ons !

In many cases, different customers can have different packages, promotions, add-ons, or services included in their bundle, so it's not always a like-for-like comparison. The cost can vary depending on exactly what's included. We also offer some bundles on 30-day rolling agreements, and deals can change from month to month depending on the services and promotional discounts applied.

Customer service is amazing, service awful

Customer service is amazing.
The WiFi service is awful.
I pay for 300mbps, and can confirm it's never hits and never stays above 150, the latency is also terrible.
The price is the only thing that is appealing but if you are looking for consistency then don't waste your time

The team of young men that came to do…

The team of young men that came to do the insulation, were very polite and friendly Freddy Sam & Leister.
They did their very best to run the cable where we preferred it to be.
The wiring was attached to the building in a very considerate manner.
Leister carried out the installation in the house and complied very cheerfully and happily to our requests.
He was especially helpful setting up our devices for us.
Great team of guys!

Still waiting for box to be fixed…

Still waiting for box to be fixed probably to wall and one cable to another flat to be left tidy

Hi there,
Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear you’re still unhappy with how this has been left.
Our records show that during the installation, the cabling route was agreed on-site with your assistance. The cable was taken via the roof space through the existing window opening, and it was confirmed at the time that a small amount of external cable along the flat roof area was acceptable.
We can also see that on 12/03/2026 further work was completed to properly secure the external box to the building, including replacing screws and adding washers.
Based on this, the installation was completed as agreed at the time. However, if the current setup now presents a safety concern or has changed since the visit, we would absolutely want to review this.
Please email us at help@wightfibre.com with images and details of areas of concern so we can assess things further. If this is identified as a health and safety issue, we will of course take appropriate action.
