WightFibre the right choice

WightFibre was definitely the right choice for us. We chose a speed package that suited us, and installation was quick. The engineers were really helpful and explained everything. We have contacted customer service once, and the query was sorted out over the phone. We highly recommend changing to WightFibre.

Teething problems that meant we had…

Teething problems that meant we had broadband that kept cutting out during the first few weeks. An initial engineer visit didn't resolve the issue. When I finally called your office I was sent photos to check myself that the installation engineer had connected the correct power cables. He had not. Once I stopped them around, the problem resolved within a week.

An agent came to our house as requested…

An agent came to our house as requested and showed us all the packages. We chose the package that suited us. The agent did all the transfer and cancelled our previous supplier.

One or two problems but happy enough.

Installation completed Sunday 22 February 2026. Problem occurred following day - access to internet denied. Problem eventually resolved by very competent engineer on Friday 27 February by installing additional extender in hallway. Now have problem for past two or three weeks with accessing TV programmes via Freely but do not know if this occurs because of TV fault or WightFibre problem. Cannot give a Five Star rating because of past and existing problem but generally happy with WightFibre service and price.

We can see you only contacted us this morning regarding your connection, and at that point our team had just started investigating. As you weren’t on-site, we weren’t able to complete troubleshooting yet.

We’re ready to continue checks and get this resolved as soon as you’re available, and will arrange an engineer if needed.

We’d appreciate the opportunity to fully investigate and fix the issue before a final judgement is made.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Fault was dealt with extremely quickly and on a Bank Holiday weekend.

When the guys were here installing…

When the guys were here installing WightFibre they were polite and helpful and cleaned up behind themselves. We had a few glitches but sorted out in no time at all over the phone.

Had Wightfibre for 3/4 years, service has been great, any issues remedied quickly and a human on customer service!!
Big shout out for Kody who sorted an issue of damage to the fibre optic quickly and efficiently. Appreciated

Wonderful customer service

After 26 years with Sky for our broadband and WiFi, a company whose previously exemplary customer service has slid down so badly its non existent, we had Wight Fibre install us yesterday. Wow, what service. The two Ollies who installed the system were polite, informative, and didn't leave until everything was set up properly. We now have fast WiFi and customer service that many other companies should replicate. We had a call from customer service asking if everything was OK. We are extremely happy customers, and so nice to speak to local people, not someone in the Phillipines as Sky now is. Thanks Wight Fibre, you are awesome

Promised no increase....got an increase!

We had a knock at the door from a WightFibre rep from London. The guy was lovely just trying to do his job. We agreed to sign up and whilst he was at our house we asked and confirmed if the price given was going to stay that way for the contract. He said yes there will be no rises in price, including in April when most things go up. But come April and our price increased. We were also guaranteed 500mps upload and download. There has not been 1 time where I have done a speed test where we have had these speeds.

Our contracts include an annual price review each April, which is clearly set out in the contract summary provided at sign‑up. We cannot see any basis for a “no increase” guarantee being part of our standard agreement. Given your report of the above, we will investigate internally.

On speeds, we have no record of this being reported to us, so we’ve not had the opportunity to investigate or resolve this for you. Achieving full speeds can depend on how devices are connected and used, and we would need to run checks with you directly.

If you’re still experiencing issues, please contact us so we can review this properly and work towards a resolution.
