Taylor and Freddie connected us to WightFibre efficiently and seamlessly, explaining everything they were going to do to check that we were happy with everything. They were very friendly and worked in a clean and tidy manner.

Great speed at low cost and absolutely…

Great speed at low cost and absolutely supurb customer and after-sales service.
Wightfibre created a lot of local bad feeling with, seemingly, interminable road works but the result is first class!

Outstanding Customer Services

Three months after switching to Wight Fibre we had a problem with Freely TV. After a 5 minute call to customer services it was sorted. The operator made it really easy to understand what to do. However I am tech savvy although in my 50's.

Good sales and customer service and…

Good sales and customer service and good installment service. Would have liked to give better score but the Wi-Fi is frustratingly patchy.

Simply the best experience ever

Simply the best experience ever

2 super friendly engineers, you would not know they had been here as they were incredibly tidy and curious

They even swept the pavement of dust after they finished

…Good customer service

We had issues at the start Our phone wasn’t connected The engineer forgot to leave the adapter for the router We also lost our telephone connection twice in the first 3 months Otherwise customer service is good

Let down by WightFibre

Sorry...I seem to be in an area in Bembridge [IoW), where they connect in a reasonable time frame.

At the beginning, mid March 2026, all seemed good, can you help us with a £4,000+ government grant to get you connected.

Filled in the details,set up a direct debit, then get an email to connect at the end of July......

Sorry, but unacceptable, should have been informed at the time of engagement that you are not in the area to connect quickly. Very disappointed in the lack of honest information to get custom.

Also disappointed, as other reviews give a glowing story, so was looking forward to a 5* service to enjoy good Internet and the world cup.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and I’m sorry for the frustration this has caused.

Following your initial enquiry, it became clear that further external works are required at your location before a full fibre connection can be completed. Where additional works are needed outside the property, this can impact installation timescales and unfortunately means we’re unable to connect as quickly as we would like.

The date referenced later in the process was provided as a provisional placeholder to ensure your booking remained active while those requirements were reviewed, rather than a confirmed installation date. We appreciate that this may not have been sufficiently clear at the time, and we understand how this could feel disappointing.

In relation to the grant funding, this is only claimed once a customer has been successfully installed and connected, rather than at the point of enquiry or initial engagement.

We recognise how important transparency is when deciding to proceed, and your feedback highlights where we can improve how we explain build requirements, timescales and funding processes earlier in the journey.

While many customers do go on to enjoy a reliable service once connected, we’re sorry that your experience so far hasn’t matched those expectations. If you’d like us to look again at your specific circumstances or discuss next steps, our team will be happy to help via our support channels.

Not sure why but broadband is draining…

Not sure why but broadband is draining my battery overnight, doesn’t happen anywhere else and has never happened before.. Also they put the price up £4 a month after I’d just joined which was annoying, they should at least allow the first year with no increases, shows they do actually care!

We did previously make you aware of the £4 monthly price increase, but we understand it can still feel frustrating, especially so soon after joining.
In terms of the battery drain you’ve mentioned, Wi‑Fi itself wouldn’t normally cause a separate device’s battery to drain overnight, so we’d like to understand this properly to be sure nothing else is going on. Could you let us know what type of device you’re experiencing this with?

Very straight forward connection

Very straight forward connection, excellent & polite engineer visited to property and following connection he ensured all our phones, TVs & lap tops were connected and functioning. As senior citizens we both found his assistance very helpful and reassuring, as it avoided many hours and many attempts to achieve what he carried out within minutes. Afraid I don't recall his name , he was particularly well mannered and able to rapidly establish a great rapport with the client, thank you.

Rubbish service never works no one…

Rubbish service never works no one comes out keep getting told the same thing all time to still be left with un working service. Very disappointed.

We did carry out a number of remote checks and tried to stabilise the service, and an engineer visit was planned as the next step.
Unfortunately, we’re very sorry that this wasn’t communicated clearly enough and that it added to your frustration. That isn’t the experience we want anyone to have.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that the experience hasn’t met expectations.

Having reviewed the account, I can see that following we did engage with your household on several occasions to investigate the Wi‑Fi concerns that were raised by email, each email that was sent to us was responded to. The connection into the property was testing as healthy at the router, and support focused on troubleshooting wireless performance around the home, including optimising the system remotely, checking the Wi‑Fi extender, and providing guidance on equipment placement, which can significantly affect coverage and speeds.
We also followed up by email and made contact to check whether the changes had improved things, with advice to get back in touch if problems continued so that the next steps could be arranged.

We absolutely appreciate how frustrating Wi‑Fi issues can be, particularly when service is new, and we’d still welcome the opportunity to review this again and make sure everything is set up as well as possible.

I will have a member of the team reach out this morning to carry out a further assessment and if necessary, book an engineer visit to full assess your service and and hopefully improve things moving forward.

Change to whitefibre in January

Change to whitefibre in January as my BT deal ended. Whitefibre are half the price and give me faster speeds. Had no problems so far .
