I had a full hearing review with Mr Shuren in Newbury. He was excellent, reprogramming my hearing aids and fully explaining everything. My hearing is now much better!

Everything explained well.

I found Mr Shuren a pleasant Gentleman who examined my hearing and explained to me what my problem was.
His relaxed manner put me at ease and the difference in my hearing after this treatment was astonishing.
He is a most professional and informative gentleman.
And a credit to boots.

My first appointment for the fitting of the newly purchased set of hearing aid had been cancelled by telephone by your audiologist because "...the post office failed to deliver the goods...". There and then, a new time and date was offered to me, to which I accepted. Accordingly, I visited your premises hoping that I would be returning home with the new set of of hearing aid. On arrival at your premises I was told that no audiologist was in attendance that day as the person was ill. No one at the reception offered me a new appointment as they had no information on the availability of the audiologist. I had to go home very disappointed with no further information when I might be fitted with the new set for which I have paid. 7 days have gone by, and no one has contacted me to offer a new appointment, nor has there been a telephone call or email to update me. Your telephone system is a dreadfull time-waster. I have no intention to get on to your telephone service. What kind of a treatment of a customer who has committed to spend a sum costing well over one thousand pounds. I am speechless of your dreadful service.

The ear test etc. went smoothly and the audiologist explained everything clearly, He was also very helpful when it came to choosing the right type of hearing aids for myself.

The consultant, Aliya, was wonderful. My dad has no patience with medical appointments like this usually, but this appointment was different. Aliya was professional, knowledgeable and kind. She could not have been more understanding of dad's situation. He was bowled over and almost excited to try the new hearing aids, after 2 years of struggling and then giving up, on his old NHS ones. 6 stars!

I was made to feel important and guided through the hearing test process. My hearing test results were explained in detail and what solutions were needed to correct my hearing. Overall experience was excellent and I would recommend friends and family to visit Boots Hearingcare.
