I wish the product is more competitively priced and delivery could be more seamless but otherwise happy.

We purchased a 3m x 3m Gala Tent in 2010, and it has been up throughout every summer since, providing welcome shade on sunny days and reliable protection from the rain during our very British summers!

It was only after 16 years of faithful service, and the five successive heatwaves we experienced in the South of England this summer, that the top canopy finally developed a tear and needed replacing.

Gala Tent found our original order within seconds and knew exactly what we needed from my rather garbled description - I didn’t even need to provide measurements! The replacement canopy was very reasonably priced, dispatched the same day and arrived the following day, with delivery included in the price.

We couldn’t be more impressed with either the product or the service. A first-class, durable product backed up by genuinely excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

I bought a Gala Tent (a compact gazebo) last year for the christmas period for over £400. We only really go to markets and need gazebos during this 2 week period, and once a month for one day in the run up. It’s a highly stressful time with everyone buying cheese anyway. In order to have this compact gazebo work, we need at least 2/3 people to put it up, we dont need that many people on a market so its a little annoying, but worse than that it gets stuck in places, and we always know its going to be a hassle to use. The other gazebo we have (not gala) is easy and up in less than a minute. Considering our very light use of the gazebo, we got it out again last month after 9 months of not using it (we bought it august last year) and it snapped. This so called durable gazebo snapped by putting it up. It wasn't a windy day it was normal use on a nice sunny windless day. This £400 gazebo is going in the bin and i’ll never use gala again. I did contact customer service and they suggested that because it’s just past a month over the 12 month warrantee I can purchase replacement parts from them. I suggest you get a cheap one from amazon if its going to break so easily anyway.

I did a fair bit of research and when the 3x3 40mm legs arrived by next day delivery it was bloody fantastic !

I ordered 6-off pole storage bags to replace the original cardboard packaging.

Fantastic product and great friendly customer service. About 20 years ago I purchased a 3x3 meter pink n purple gazebo for my puppet workshop activities , but latterly it’s been used for festival crew camping shelter . This gazebo was used every summer, 6 weeks a year non stop for 20 years . It only ever needed one canopy replacement and a couple of screws replaced (which Gala sent me for free) It sadly died this year when another gazebo blew into it.
I’ll be purchasing another one for next summer ABSOLUTELY!
Excellent quality item from a UK company.

Not impressed with Gala tents new, replacement canopy which leaked at the 4 strapping points. Absolutely obviously a manufacturing error. (Had the previous one for eight years which developed holes elsewhere and leaked. )They sent me sealant instead of replacement which I thought was a major cop out but needed the gazebo for a show. They gave scant instructions and now state I have pulled the straps too tightly, applied sealant to wrong side and used it too many times. Only one of these is evidence based (the sealant on the wrong side but they gave no instruction as to which side). Only used it once in the rain then 2 subsequent dry times.

Quality has slipped and am very unimpressed. Speaking to others at the show say they have had similar experiences but is not bourne out by that many reviews.

Their own review system will not post negative reviews until an agreement has been made between both parties. This limits the real stories behind the companies real status. I kept on being hounded to review by Rivyoo but was subsequently held back. What's the point in that.

Gala tents needs to go back and understand what a quality production system means.

Simply great friendly service. Providing quality goods with real value for money and excellent support
