Le 2 janvier 2026 jâai fait monter 4 pneus GoodYear Vector (165/65/R14) dans le centre Norauto de Tarbes sur une Twingo 2.
Le 9 juin 2026, le pneu avant gauche a éclaté sans raison apparente. Le pneu nâavait parcouru que 6800 km et je vérifie réguliÚrement lâétat et la pression.
Jâai mesuré la profondeur de la structure et il ne restait que 5 mm à lâavant alors quâil restait 9 mm à lâarriÚre. Les pneus précédents avaient été remplacés à 39000 km (Kleber 4 saisons à priori moins durables).
Il mâa été impossible de remplacer ce pneu par le même modÚle car il était introuvable.
La bande de roulement du pneu semble intacte ce qui semble exclure le choc avec un objet sur la chaussée. Procéder à une expertise à mes frais me coûterait trop cher, cependant jâai vraiment un doute sur la qualité de fabrication de ces pneus.
Il me reste des Goodyear à lâarriÚre et jâespÚre quâils nâéclateront pas comme cela est déjà arrivé avec des camions.

Goodyear failed to balance my tires even after recheck
I had a scheduled appointment with Goodyear this morning at 11:00 a.m., and they took my vehicle into the bay at approximately 11:30 a.m. The vehicle was returned to me at 12:44 p.m., with the indication that the work was complete. However, upon merging onto the highway, I noticed a vibration in the steering wheel and a slight vibration in the floorboard, prompting me to contact them immediately. I inquired of the representative at Goodyear if anyone had test driven my car after they put the new tires on the vehicle. He stated no , they actually did not. They just pulled it out of the bay into the parking spot . He suggested that the tire vibration was normal as I purchased a budget tire and they had originally recommended a more expensive tire that would be quieter. I explained they were the same brand and specific type Kelly Edge that I had previously had on the vehicle. He then proceeded to state that the weights may not have been installed in the tires and requested that I return to the facility. I accordingly drove back downtown, and after a 45-minute wait, my vehicle was returned to me. I was informed that an issue had occurred, causing the weights to fall out of the front tire and one out of the rear tire, and I was assured that the issue was now resolved. However, upon approaching the highway again, I noticed a vibration in the steering wheel and a different type of vibration, accompanied by a more pronounced vibration at the accelerator pedal.
I recontacted the service provider Goodyear tire and was advised that the issue may be related to uneven wear on the older tires that would cause an uneven ride from the Kelly Edge I removed. The representative assured me that the new tires were properly balanced, but recommended scheduling an appointment for the next day as his technician was leaving the facility within 20 minutes and would not have time to evaluate my vehicle suspension as next course of action. He suggested an appointment to review the suspension that could have an issue underneath the car causing the vibration. I agreed and drove home on my 30 minute journey at approximately 3:00 p.m, still experiencing pronounced vibration and steering wheel issues. I subsequently contacted Goodyear's customer service, who suggested visiting an alternative facility for further inspection. I arrived at tire discounters and after a wait of 1 hour and 45 minutes, the facility discovered that both of the rear tires had not been balanced. The issue was promptly resolved, and the vibration and steering problems were eliminated. The technician at tire discounters stayed late until 6:14 p.m. after close to rectify my balance issues on tires .The entire ordeal lasted over 7 hours, which is excessive for a standard one hour tire installation. I am dissatisfied with the service provided and have lost trust in Goodyear. I will not return to the original facility and may reconsider purchasing Goodyear tires in the future.

Goodyearsaved me from overpaying at Discount Tires!
Discount Tires told me Goodyear provided an Ozone warranty on my tires, but that it starts as soon as the tires leave the factory and not when I buy them. I called Goodyear to complain about this and ended up with a $548.12 credit toward my new tires! Goodyear was so easy to work with and so kind! I am so pleased with Goodyear and how easy it was to work with them.

I cannot contact this Company, all emails get rejected, so, here we are, a Company on Ebay called 'Thinkprice'
claims to represent you, I bought a dashcam from them, with your name on it, it does not work, I returned it and now they claim to have not recieved it. They will not refundme, acknowledge that I have sent it. They are thieves, and they use the Goodyear brand to do so. If you go to Trust pilot and put their name into it: thinkprice, you will see the true picture. If you go to Ebay and put in 'thinkprice' you will see that they have millions of 5 star reviews but you will br unable to leave a review. Curious, no? You need to look into whoever these people are, because I always thought Goodyear was a brand I could trust, clearly not, and nope, wont be buying any tyres from you either!

We went to Jenkins Automotive in VA. We were charged for services that were not rendered (calipers and other services). We first contacted Jenkins Automotive (owner) and they did not return any phone calls. We contacted Goodyear credit card services, and they strung us along for 5 months, Goodyear credit card services changed the narrative every time I called, we showed proof that the work was not done, and Goodyear Credit card services stated to me that Jenkins stated that they performed the services, so therefore they performed them (that comment in itself is very perplexing). After 5 months of going back and forth with Goodyear Credit card services they tell us they have done everything they can and that we should contact the Goodyear Company or Jenkins automotive (which we did contact Jenkins automotive). Goodyear Company tells us they can't do anything either because Jenkins automotive is independently owned.

Customer service dragged me along for months, tires lasted only 1 year
My four new GoodYear Assurance 9 All Season tires only lasted 1 year before all the thread was worn through. When I contacted customer service to get help, their staff person Omar Mossi Boubacar Mossi had a long phone call with me and assured me he could help me try and get compensation for the faulty tires. He dragged me along for over 3 months as we went back and forth, I'd ask him if he had an update, he'd ghost me and then say he'd been on vacation but would have an update soon, etc.
After over 12 weeks of this, I just wish GoodYear hadn't given me the hope of any help in the first place. Terrible experience. I could not be persuaded to ever buy from them again.
Miserabler Kundenservice
Habe einen Motorradreifen Avon Cobra Chrome (gehört mittlerweile zu Goodyear) reklamiert, da die Flanken 18 Monate nach der Montage jede Menge Risse aufweisen. Laut DOT-Nr. ist der Reifen vor 2 1/2 Jahren hergestellt worden. Der Reifen hatte 2500 KM runter und war noch nicht mal annÀhernd an der VerschleiÃgrenze. Trotz aussagekrÀftiger Fotos incl. DOT-Nr. leider keine EntschÀdigung. Ich wurde an den HÀndler verwiesen. Da ich keine Nerven habe, den Reifen auf eigene Kosten zum HÀndler nach Italien zu schicken mache ich jetzt einen Haken dran und werde in Zukunft sÀmtliche Marken aus dem Hause Goodyear von meinen Fahrzeugen fernhalten.

Goodyear is not good. No sólo fabrica neumáticos (que al parecer van perdiendo categorÃa) sino otros elementos como generadores de gasolina y botas. Compré un generador y pesaba muy poco... antes de un mes dejó de funcionar; compré por amazón y me devolvieron el dinero. Compré unas botas de trabajo, se empapaban de agua; a los 2 meses salà al campo con ellas y cuando regresé a la izquierda se le habÃa caÃdo la suela de goma. Las he tenido que tirar y sólo he podido recuperar los cordones. ¿comprar GoodYear? ¡¡Nunca más!!
Rebate is an empty promise
I bought tires through a dealer who said that Goodyear was offering a rebate. I submitted the rebate info online and on time. Goodyear rejected it. I have called multiple times but haven't received a resolution.

Difficult rebate claim process
The rebate claim process for tires purchased online was very difficult. Took me over an hour to resolve. The original email receipt failed to display the rebate code that I needed. Fortunately, the local shop owner helped me out.
I am extremely disappointed
I am extremely disappointed and frankly outraged by my experience with the Goodyear location in Simpsonville, South Carolina.
I had a scheduled job interview at the Simpsonville branch, arrived on time, and waited for 30 minutes. No one came out to speak with me. No explanation. No apology. No acknowledgment. As a potential employee, I was treated as if my time had zero value.
This is not just unprofessional â it reflects a complete lack of respect and basic organizational integrity. If this is how the Simpsonville location treats prospective team members, it raises serious concerns about the internal management culture of that branch.
To Goodyearâs corporate leadership: your Simpsonville operation is damaging your brand. The behavior I experienced suggests either severe mismanagement or deliberate negligence. It gives the impression of a corrupt or sabotaging local administration that is actively harming the companyâs reputation through incompetence and disregard for basic professional standards.
This experience has permanently changed my perception of Goodyear as a company. I can no longer view the brand with trust or respect, and I will be reconsidering any future purchases of Goodyear products as a direct result of this treatment.
I expected professionalism. What I received was silence and disrespect.
Mile Warranties Not Honored
They do not honor the Cooper Tire warranted miles. I bought four Cooper Tires with 70,000 mile warranty. I take them off through my trusted garage to put my studded snow tires on each year. The tires have less than 36,000 miles on them and all of them are terribly warn. Goodyear says it is three years since purchased and will not honor the 70,000 mile warranty!!! They have not been on my car for more than a year and a half.
So, if you change your tires each winter to studded snow tires, Stay Away from Goodyear and Cooper Tires!!!
