The Swimmo is fantastic, better than expected, will be very useful for my training, I am very satisfied with the acquisition.

- It's tough to see the screen when you swim outside in bright weather.
- The watch feels cheap.
- Terrible return policy. (or what they call "changed your mind" policy. I wanted to return it but found out that I had to ship it to Poland (Europe). They don't give you the option to ship it back to one of their warehouses in the US! They request to mail it by registered mail to Poland which would cost approximately $ 60. Their disclaimer also says that they have the right to restocking fee or a deduction if they see wear and tear on the watch. So I decided to put it on eBay which I see other people have done before as well.. probably for the same reason.
On a good note, they are relatively responsive by email.

Swimmo watch is the best piece of swimming kit I have ever had. I have tried other branded swim watches but they either don't work very well or aren't accurate. Easy set up for any size of pool. I regularly swim 1800m and with the swimmo as my partner I never loose count of my laps due the the quarterly vibration through the wrist. I have the app set up on various devices so I can easily upload my workouts and review them looking at were I have changed my routine easily. Ok as with all tech items I do have a few clitches but the team at swimmo always reply via email quickly and always with the exact help needed. Great team, great kit, great job!😁

I used Swimmo for the first time and was very disappointed to find out that the screen is nearly invisible when swimming in an outdoor pool. This made it impossible to check my progress, and it also made it impossible to pause the workout -- because I could not see the screen.

So far, I have no complaints about my Swimmo watch, even though I have a defective charger, which is being replaced. My emails to Swimmo describing my problem have been promptly answered and that shows that they are focused on "customer service" and satisfaction, and not just selling swim watches. I wish them success!

I have been using my Swimmo for several months now and I must say I am not disappointed. As other reviews point out, yes, there are still a few issues to fix : my watch sometimes doesn't count all strokes, or sometimes it counts an extra stroke, especially in Kick&Drill mode, which doesn't catch all strokes when I swim at high speed with fins ; the fact that the hour can't be displayed while working out with the watch is a loss in my opinion.
The stroke count and rest times are features that should have already been included; I cannot wait until they are available.
That being said, I am very satisfied with my swimmo; customer service is on point, always available, the app's statistics are very usefull and I like that it is slightly more affordable than a Garmin.

Purchased over a year ago, got the watch in good conditions (no Manufacturers defects). Have to say, after using it for a year now, its not worth the price, for the same price i could have bought a better and more sophisticated Garmin watch. laps are not all counted, need to tap really hard to stop and resume swimming (fact that i need to tap to take a break means that the watch is not that "Smart"), on a clear day the display is so weak that I need to stop swimming and cover the watch to see the numbers, doesn't show time when swim count is active. its a pool watch only -no sea swim for you, Updates are Sporadic if any and to be honest i dont really see any update that will improve a what i can only describe as a failed attempt to compete with much much better brands with a low tech means.

I have been using my swimmo watch most weeks since it arrived about 18 months ago, swimming indoor pool laps on three strokes (my butterfly is hopeless), and covering about a mile per session. My technique is fairly good and the watch rarely misses laps - often catching up later in the session. This is quite clever, but I wish that it didn't include the 'catch up laps' in the statistics for average lap speed etc.

Battery life is reasonable and the tap screen control is very good provided that I remember to resume the session after pausing to grab a drink. I'm hoping that with the promised firmware upgrades (stroke analysis really should have been there from the start) the watch may become smart enough to automatically suspend/resume measurements when it detects that I've stopped swimming.

I am very happy that I bought this watch, and hope that the new features come along soon.

My swimmo watch came with a defective battery charger. It took almost a week to get a response from the company where they admitted they knew the chargers were sometimes defective. After several more emails that also took a long time to respond to me, they agreed to send me a new battery charger. So, about a month after purchasing the watch, I was able to charge it and try it out. It did not accurately count my laps and when I tried to sync it with my phone it lost the swim totally saying there was no history. I was frustrated by this time and asked for a refund. I was informed that there is a 2 week return policy. I did not even get to use it for a month so I guess, this is an expensive lesson for me. I should have returned it immediately. I purchased a different brand and it has worked flawlessly for me.

The heart rate did'nt work so the watch was broken.
So sending back in good condion.
Swimmo took € 50,- reduction for a scratch who was'nt there.
So I paid € 50,- for a broken watch that I don'nt have.

I have bought my Swimmo in 2017 when their website was promising an "Open water" feature upcoming in 2018. Nice story, Swimmo customers would receive a message via the App to download it. Before summer 18 customer service told me it should be released in August 2018.
Poor delivery: in Nov 18 it is still not launched!!! Recently I saw on the website that they took out any marketing on this Open water feature because Swimmo realize they can't deliver their promises. Few days ago customer service told me it will come in 2019 but no further precision. After +1,5 year I am not amused when Swimmo promised me upcoming feature (Open water is one of the essential for me) and decline any responsibility via the customer service when things are still not delivered. They admit it is delayed, they admit that they stop claiming it on the website and they are vague for the release date!
Also, my docking charger needed to be replace after +/- 6 uses. Good to hear that some indoor swimmers are ok with it because as an open water swimmer I can't see any satisfaction.
If any customer was expecting to have an open water feature promised, he/she should claim his/her right to have it after more +1,5 year and I am very disappointed by the feedback I have received from Swimmo.

Stared using my Swimmo watch recently; having used others in the past. The watch is comfortable, light and not at all bulky in the water; the display is ideal and the measurements are more precise than the other swim watches I've used. Set up and sinc'ing are extremely easy...I've been using it in open water and pools.

The company replies are quick and extremely attentive.

All and all, the product is fantastic, accurate and easy to use.

I had my opinion during the summer. With the sun in open waters you cannot see a thing.
But
I have to say that I am delighted in the swimming pool.
But one issue. If the tactil screen activates it runs out of battery. They say you can protect it with a cover. Not true. You need a protective plastic (I made one by myself and it works perfectly well. Remember the metal thing of the champagne bottles, the one that covers the cork. Same design)

I LOVE MY SWIMMO AND I LOVE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY CHARGER. AFTER FEW DAYS THEY ANSWERED AND SENT A NEW CHARGER.

Received a Swimmo watch in August of this year. Gave it as a present. It did not work. Return and warranty of this watch has been as poor as any company I have ever dealt with. They have you ship it over to Poland where supposedly it has been stuck in customs for over a month. Have many friends who want a swim fitness tracker. I will not be recommending them to my friends.

I have been in the water for many years, I have tried and used many watches and, honestly, the one that has surprised and liked me most is the swimmo, it works perfectly, meets its specifications without problem, it facilitates all the statistics and helps me to develop my swimming.



Besides, the swimmo development team is adding new features that complement the current result, WITHOUT HAVING TO CHANGE CLOCK, can someone give you more?

I am very satisfied so far and I would definitely buy it again. I used my swimmo for about three weeks, mainly to track crawl and drills. Uploading the data from to the phone could be improved: if your internet connection is not stable (e.g. in a garage, on the train...) you may lose some of the recorded data. That should be a relatively easy fix and they are aware of it.
It's great to monitor progress and keep my motivation up.

Is the best tool to inprove your trainning, it is also light weight , classic, and lots of functions to get focused into you want to.

For a direct, uninterrupted workout he is perfect. But a workout with breaks still leaves something to be desired, sometimes lost in the laps. The heart beat is not correct (it hardly goes over 100bpm). Leg training, even using the "kick and drill" option counts for far more laps than necessary.
Usually it meets my training needs, but considering what it proposes it leaves something to be desired.
