From when we came to came to view a car Greg who was with us was brilliant. Helped us with picking the right car for us.
From then it was easy sailing from start to finish. On the day of collection Matt and Greg again was top. Both polite and great to talk to. Would definitely recommend to others wishing to get a new car. Sytner is brilliant.

Excellent experience
We previously purchased a vehicle here in 2022 and had a great service so came back this year to upgrade to a newer car. Little Greg was excellent! He was attentive and friendly on our first visit, listened to what we wanted from a car and found us the ideal one. We had a small issue with arranging finance but Greg and Matt worked with us to resolve this, were both honest about what would be a better deal for us, and had everything arranged as promised for collection. Greg helped us during collection to sort out the transfers of ownership, including for our part exchange, tax etc. Matt also came to introduce himself as we had only spoken on the phone. We can't fault the service and will definitely be back for our next trade in.

The Horror showtaken my vehicle back here 3 times…
I’ve taken my vehicle back here 3 times and lost 3 days of work which is important I attend as I have a company to run, only greeted with children who run it and over half their staff that doesn’t work! As told to me by the receptionist!!!
Only to wait 3 hours on all occasions to be told they have ordered the wrong parts again!!!
Please please do not buy or use this business it’s truly a horror show!! You’ve been warned.

Feel free to lend Sytner £99... just don't expect a car to be reserved.
AVOID!!!
DON'T PAY THE £99 RESERVATION!!!
Sytner have let me down now on 4 occasions and I won't be using them again.
First time round, pay the £99 to reserve a car with the Swindon branch. Nobody contacts me at all. I call the branch numerous times but no answer. Their AI assistant assures me the branch is open. Call continuously throughout the 48 hour reservation period but no answer. I then phone up at 0900 hours the morning after the reservation expired to be informed the car had just been sold.
Second time round, several requests left with Sytner Derbi for a callback and video of the car... did I receive either, well, I'm still waiting.
Third up, Sytner Bristol and I can't really fault them. I flew down to test drive a car that I had seen, unfortunately the paint had been waxed with a brick and it wasn't for me. Perhaps they could have told me that the car had been sanded before I flew from Glasgow but we are where we are. All in all though, not bad to deal with, they could have offered to respray the bonnet or told me in advance but so be it. Now £50 down for my flight I call Sytner Select Wolverhampton and this is where the downward spiral continues.
While in Bristol I called Sytner Wolverhampton about a car they had available. They confirmed it was still available and I paid the £99 reservation. I then got on the 2 hour train to Wolverhampton and on arrival was told that the car I had reserved had been sold, apparently at the same time I had reserved it (funny that this keeps happening). They did however have the same model at the same price... excellent you say... did I mention it had 17,000 more miles, no car mats, no parcel shelf and none of the luggage clips... ah, maybe it's not worth the exact same money... that was my thoughts and is why I'm now enjoying the delights of Avanti West Coast back to Glasgow.
Positives - Sytner Select Bristol and Tariq at Sytner Select Wolverhampton are excellent. The free coffee is also reasonable.
Negatives - Everything else. The reservation fee means nothing and is essentially like lending your mate £99 for a week with absolutely no benefit. Why offer a reservation service if you will sell the car anyway. Spending £200 to tour the West Country and Midlands and only getting to see industrial estates in Bristol and Wolverhampton.
I should have learned after the first time, I am of the opinion that the only mug here is in fact me.

Extremely Poor After-Sales Service & Misleading Warranty
My experience with Sytner Select Wolverhampton has been deeply disappointing, particularly with their after-sales and service department.
Since purchasing my vehicle, I have had ongoing issues with the air conditioning system, resulting in numerous visits back and forth to the dealership. On multiple occasions, I left my car with them for the entire day, yet they were still unable to identify or resolve the fault. Instead, I was repeatedly told to rebook the vehicle again.
Only three weeks after being advised that the issue had been fixed, the same AC problem returned. I was then told the car needed a re-gas, which was attempted more than once and failed to resolve the issue. Despite this, there was no proper investigation into the underlying cause.
Due to the continued lack of progress, I took the vehicle to an independent garage, who confirmed that the AC compressor previously replaced by the Sytner service team is not functioning correctly. I was also advised that as the vehicle is under warranty, I am entitled to have this fault investigated and rectified. I was also informed that any replaced car part automatically comes with a 12-month parts warranty, which should apply to the compressor fitted by Sytner.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I paid extra for the warranty—this was not a free or complimentary warranty that came with the car. Despite this, I am still being asked to pay diagnostic fees simply to identify a fault that has existed since their own repair. I genuinely do not see the point of the warranty they sell, as it feels misleading and appears to be designed to generate further charges rather than provide genuine peace of mind.
In addition to this, I have been on maternity leave and recently had a baby, yet I have been forced to make and receive numerous calls, repeatedly explaining the same issue, at a time when my focus should be on my family, not chasing unresolved problems that should have been dealt with professionally from the start.
The lack of communication, accountability, and ownership from the service department has been extremely upsetting. Once the sale was completed, the level of aftercare fell far below what I expected from a Sytner dealership.
I would strongly advise others to think very carefully before purchasing a vehicle or warranty from Sytner Select Wolverhampton. My experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and deeply disappointing.
