Great quality quick delivery with regular updates. Highly recommended.

Excel joinery offered the closest measurement to the doors that we needed. They are heavyweight with a nice feel. We chose unfinished doors and they are lovely. The process of ordering was easy and the information that came through was good.
The only thing that didn’t work so well was the instructions on how to get a more accurate idea of delivery time as the time given is 7 am to 7 pm. The number and instructions given for the delivery company were useless as the phone was continuously engaged and the call was automatically cut off after 15 minutes, Fortunately I had emailed the day before and received a very helpful estimation.

The wood gates arrived in good time and I'm happy with quality for the price.
Transport cost as only issue for me but been making my own for 40 years so might be the reason!

Doors arrived undamaged on date and time as advised.Driver was very helpful.
Doors are primed so a little sanding is only required before finishing with a couple of top coats,so saves time and
hassel.Overall well satisfied.

Delivery was a day late so nobody was at home ,no calls to tell me hed be late ,had to ring to find out, driver turns up the next day in a huge lorry couldn't get up my street , only one person delivering heavy doors so had to ask my 16 year old daughter to help drop the doors off outside a neighbours house,now I have to carry them to my house. Gees haulage charged me for that so called delivery to your doorstep!!!

What a load of rubbish!
I was not told that it was a one man delivery at all,nor that it was a kerbside delivery,also you driver told me that he had to stop because of his driving tachograph was up so he had to pull over for the night!
I paid good money for delivery that wasn't even delivered to my house and it was a day late with no communication from you to what was going on! Will not be buying from you again and wouldn't advise anybody that can't not get an artic lorry near there house to buy.
Also to carry the doors yourself because they only have one person that can't be arsed to carry themselves.
Only giving one star now because your response was a total lie!!

Easy company to deal with ,unable to take delivery when booked so had to change the date which was so easy and trouble free
On the morning of delivery received a phone call stating they had a problem with the delivery van but arranged for the next day which turned up as expected

Good service delivered when said and doors look great .. Delivery man very helpful

The hardwood patio doors supplied to us were oversized. We eventually negotiated a partial refund to pay a carpenter to plain down the doors. Equally disappointed with the multi point locking system which doesn't engage. XL Joinery said they'd organise a replacement. Months later, no partial refund and now they say the locking system may be subject to a £200+ swap fee.

Avoid at all costs.

I ordered 7 oak internal doors. The doors are of good quality, well priced, the delivery was on time and the driver helped me off-loading them.

Delivery, service and advice spot on

The doors I ordered were not in stock but I was given an estimated date for delivery and they arrived earlier than expected. Doors are great quality and fabulous value. Customer service was also very prompt and helpful.

the doors were ordered thru a third party i changed the order and this was handled promptly and a repayment was in my account within a couple of days
some of the doors need sanding but all things considered with the type i ordered this was to be expected

Ordered 4 oak internal doors for customer, 2 fire doors and 2 standard and they arrived on time as they said and in perfect condition.
Needless to say I had a very happy customer after fitting them.
Perfect.

The bad customer service I’ve experienced from this company before even ordering means I now won’t be buying anything from them at all. And from reading a lot of these reviews I’m relieved!
