I found the Secretlabs Magnus Pro desk…

I found the Secretlabs Magnus Pro desk very well packaged and presented in a premium way. The build was very easy with great clear instructions. I was able to build the desk (1500mm) on my own, but a second pair of hands would have made turning and lifting a bit easier. I also bought the riser and heavy duty monitor arm, but was unable to use the arm due to limitations in my room. Both the riser and arm again very well built and premium feel. One thing I did struggle with was installing the Govee light strip with the riser in place. I manged to attach the lights across the feet of the riser, but couldn't find any videos of anyone encountering that problem. Still the desk and accessories all built, and I'm very happy with the desk.

Beautiful products, very well made.

This was my second order from Swoon. The footstools I ordered looked great on the website and didn't disappoint on arrival. They are beautifully made, very comfy and add a touch of elegance to my home. Once ordered, I had a short wait whilst my furniture was being crafted. It arrived well packaged and ready to use and enjoy.

I too have a valid licence (which I renewed yearly), but as of the last two months, the product Replay Media Catcher 2025 can no longer access the licencing server. My licence is still active, and I've been communicating with their tech support - but, there is no sign of them addressing an issue which is clearly at their end (as I tried an install on another PC, and instantly got the unable to contact licencing server error), so in my mind the problem is with their server. I'm now stuck with software that doesn't work and is locked in trial mode. With zero signs of help from Applian!

I was an original Kickstarter backer…

I was an original Glorb Kickstarter backer from April 2024,and granted, the pair of Glorb's I ordered did take a while to arrive, due to international shipping issues out of Glorb's control. I have now received both Glorb's, and can happily report, they are just as good if not better than I was hoping for. They are super responsive, bright and very customisable. Glorb kept me updated through the shipping delays, and their service team were always helpful and prompt to respond. I look forward to seeing the next product Glorb releases with great anticipation!

First off, I want to sincerely apologize for the delays and the frustration they’ve caused—we completely understand how frustrating this must be. We truly appreciate your patience and support as an original backer.

The UK delays were primarily due to customs issues caused by Brexit, which created unexpected complications with our distribution partner. However, the good news is that UK shipments should start rolling out this week.

Regarding the 2-10 day delivery time listed on our website, that currently applies to EU and US orders where stock is already in distribution centers and shipping smoothly. Since UK orders should now beginning to go out this week, we left the updated estimate on the new website, but we understand how this might have been confusing, and I appreciate you pointing it out.

Rest assured, we are actively working to get your order and all the UK orders to you and all the UK customers/backers as quickly as possible.

Updated review - I could have been killed

I had initially left a positive review for the cooker i purchased and had installed. The cooker was faulty on day one of the install, and i was forced to call Hotpoint (Mark's Electrical directed me to the manufacturer).

After multiple calls and an engineers visit 3 days after my install on the previous Saturday, Hotpoint felt i had a faulty cooker and booked a replacement for today Friday 19/04/2024.

When Hotpoint came to my home, to decommission the old cooker they informed me the Mark's Electrical engineer had wired the cooker up wrong, and bypassed the safety features by not fitting a cable grip to secure the live electrical cables to the cooker.

The incorrect wiring i was informed could have come lose if i moved the cooker and made the entire cooker live - i could have been killed.

He also said wiring the machine up wrong was why the cooker appeared faulty, and was likely the case.

I have raised a complaint with Mark's Electrical sending them photographic evidence of the clear wiring instructions on the back of the cooker, along with how their engineer had wired it up, and left the cables in a dangerous un-secure state.

I am lucky to be alive, given what i learned today. I can no longer recommend this company given what i have been through!

Great service all round, will use again!

This was my first order with Appliances Direct. Found the item I wanted at a great price. Booked for Saturday delivery and the company kept me informed all the way through the process. On delivery day I received a delivery time slot. The driver was on time and carried my item into my home with care. Very happy with service. Will use again.

Superb service, and fantastic Cal Kestis lightsaber

This was my first saber purchase from Galaxy Sabers. Although not my first saber. I ordered the Cal Kestis V.4 SN Pixel V4 as i'd not seen a version of this with a light in the pommel available elsewhere. I asked Galaxy for some info on the board differences prior to purchase, and they quickly responded with info on the board I chose, helping me to chose the right board config for me. The saber arrived in good time, very well packaged and, what i think is very good value It came with a blade plug, charger, display stand. The saber itself looks identical to its pictures. With it being an aluminium chassis, its super lightweight. It only gains weight when the blade is attached, so it can be a little top heavy. I was surprised at how the SN Pixel V4 was so responsive. Powering up/down and changing ignition fonts or sound/colour fonts is super quick with a 2 button saber (compared to some of my other blades). Overall i'm very impressed for what i paid for the saber. My only minor issue was a dead battery, which Galaxy replaced within a day of me reporting it to them. I will certainly buy more sabers from Galaxy Sabers again, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality product from a UK company!

Poor tech support, issue still not fixed.

I invested in a number of Arlo home security cameras roughly 4 years ago. These worked fine up until 3 weeks ago when the geolocation feature stopped working. After many calls to Arlo tech support, I was told the matter has been escalated to a higher tier support team. That was 2 weeks ago. I've had no contact with them since. The Arlo product itself isn't bad and had been stable for the last 4 years. Just a real shame the tech support isn't there, and I'm left with a partially functioning product!

What a perfect way to receive a personalized message from a celebrity. My message was received on time, and was both warm and friendly. During the message the artist covered the questions asked, and was warm and funny in response, the whole experience felt more like friends chatting. ES-Sabers - Finally a UK supplier of high quality lightsabers at affordable prices

I was a little wary of buying a high end proffie/pixel lightsaber from a UK supplier, especially one I had not used before, but i'm so glad I took the chance on ES Sabers. The ordering process was easy and I received my order confirmation shortly after. My saber took about 4 weeks from ordering to arrive (this was due to some of the parts arriving late with ES Sabers), but James kept me updated and yesterday my saber arrived. After opening the cardboard outer packaging, i was impressed with the long barrel lock hard plastic case the saber came in. It looks expensive, and i couldn't wait to open it up and get to my saber inside. The saber itself is a work of art. The build quality is high grade aluminium, very smooth to the touch and feels weighty in the hand. Once i attached the blade, it took me a little while to figure out a few things with the saber, and found re-inserting the battery to effectively reboot the saber (as it can get jostled around during transit), got the sound fonts playing properly. The blade is super bright in comparison to my other hilt lit sabers, and the sensitivity of the motion sensor during even very subtle movements responded fantastically, with the appropriate sound effects. The unit feels very robust too, so duelling with it won't be a problem. If anyone out there is considering buying a high quality saber, and is reluctant to order from a US supplier (given the shipping and import duties involved), do give ES-Sabers a try. I am so glad i did, and would have easily spent another couple of hundred pound more, to get the same saber from a US supplier!

The product is perfect

The product is perfect, just as described. My only issue was with delivery. First driver did not ring the doorbell, just tapped on the door then drove off delaying my delivery by a day. When I called AO they were very nice and booked me in for another appointment the following day. The second driver, called ahead, was polite and quickly removed old fridge and carefully installed the new. Overall very happy and will use again.

The post sale support is second to none. I've not had many issues with my various Hive products, but on the seldom occasion I've needed their help, I've always been able to speak to an expert within moments of calling. The staff are polite, informed and I feel they really care about the service they offer, which today is unfortunately uncommon. I do highly recommend Hive to anyone.
