The device's power consumption is higher than promised. Eight weeks is an exaggeration. There may be something in the settings that can reduce power consumption.I bought the device separately and then went to BikeFinder, created an account and took out a tracking contract. A little later I started to regret not taking out insurance at the same time. I logged into my account and tried to add insurance to my account. That didn't work either. I contacted customer service and they told me to go into my account and take out insurance+tracking. After that, they promised to refund me for the tracking I had paid for earlier. That's what happened, but it was a bit strange, I was logged into my account where it showed that I had a device and tracking. Why couldn't I just add insurance to my order?

Great experience with bikefinder conserning the teft of my bicycle twice. First time in february 2022 where you on the phone folowed the tracker with me and guided the police to catch up with the thief and get my bike back unharmed, in Norway. Then another EXELLENT help on the second theft in Aguilas, spain, on friday the 05.12 this year, where there has been no help what so ever from the spanish police. But you solved it quick with the insurance company so i get money to buy a new tracker with the insurance still running. Thanks so much to Bikefinder. Great company with a great and accurate, on the spot product.

I received quick and helpful follow-up with solution suggestions that were useful, both on the phone and later by email.

I can say it's good.. Sometimes it's not perfect with the location. It's worth the money but it should be worked on.

OK, but a bit short battery life

The product is a pain to set up. Despite having a USB-C, it needs very specific chargers. You can't just plug in any USB-C. Also, it takes hours for it to begin charging (fist time only). It took me hours to get this to work, including several messages to support. Now that it is working, it does it's job. Not for too long though. It only uses 2G, which will be shut off in my region in about 2 years.

It s working very good now. But the starting was hard. It was awful to get the finder onto the sim-card.

Momentan funktioniert der Tracker. Die Aufladung über das leider proprietäre Kabel verlief anfänglich nicht immer optimal und war sehr ärgerlich. Ob es so bleibt, wird sich zeigen. Der Support sollte Probleme ernst nehmen und der Importeur etwas mehr Ahnung von der Materie haben, nicht nur verkaufen wollen! Nicht alle Kunden sind übrigens technische Laien!

Does not fit all types of handlebars. Expensive for what it is. Battery end got stuck in the handlebar trying to get it out damaging the tracker.

The alerts every time anyone disturbs the bike is very useful. On the down side is the software updates. There is no way to track the progress of the update. It says it will take up to 30 minutes. Last time I tried to update the device it took over 1 hour and 30 minutes. It would be extremely helpful to have a progress bar that could give an indication of how long the update would take. Also the GPS accuracy is not great. Most often it has a fault of about 400 meters when I’m not connected by Bluetooth.

The product idea is good. But the mounting of the product is not very intuitive. Battery life is poor. But the worst is the app. Looks like it was built ten years ago. One thing I would expect is at least to get a push notification when it needs to be recharged. But this is non existing. Only bought it as it is basically the only option out there. At least that I found

to define an individuell Alarmsound for the Bikefinder-App with an Samsung S23plus, you need to aktivate the Kategorie-Chanels in the Soundoptions of the App. There you can change to an typical Alarm-Sound

Warning dont spend your 300 euro here. Bring your bike battery with you instead. And lock in ofcourse.

Deras support på mail och telefon svara aldrig. inte ens om din cykel blir stulen. jag avråder väldigt starkt. Köp ett bra lås ovh lås i motorhjulet och ta alltid ut elcykel battriet i ryggsäcken istället.

Horrible company nobody buys they shitty products so the lie on the self untill the battery dies on them.

And they dont anwser emails for refunds or calls

And the worse parts is if you press 2 that you bike have been stolen they STILL dont anwser !!!!
