Had a slight issue with my glasses, went to Llandudno boots opticians, was in and out within 5 minutes, brilliant staff and always go above and beyond to help.

Went to boots opticians in blackpool with a broken nose pad lexi not only replaced the broken one but the other one as well in a few minutes. Best thing NO CHARGE. Excellent service will be going back 👍 👌

They offered me a refund on my glasses as I was not satisfied with the salesmanship but I said no as I liked the one and only frames they had, so wanted to keep them but when I have my surgery I will expect them to do the changes free of charge in compensation.

I been to boots in burton on trent to have my eyes test ,the staff was so welcoming and friendly and helpful they help me and gave me support and if I need to ask they a question they gave me answer that I understand and they gave me reading glasses and long distance glasses and to all the people out there I recommend boots is the best place to get eyes test and glasses ty

A screw in my glasses had come out whilst I was on holiday, the frame was detached and the lens came out too. I went into my local boots when I got back home. A member of the team, Sunny, helped me replace the screw and tightened the other one as well. Really appreciate the quick service!

Having been a boots optician customers for many years my wifi and I had accumulated a vast array of prescription glasses.
We decided to have a clear out and were happy to see on boots website that we could recycle these at there optician centres.
We visited our local Salisbury store and were treated with utter disrespect and told boots have never recycled glasses.
So why the lies either in store or on the web site.
I suggest people go to spec savers they were curtiuos and took the glasses even though they were in a boots bag and most had boots glasses cases as well
Absolutely appalling the way we were treated at boots.
The bag contained what at cost us probably over £2000
Sad thatboots can afford to turn of customers.

BOOTS within 24 hrs responded and requested lots of personal information along with a copy of the review.
They did not explain why they needed this information.
They did say they would be in touch but no time scale.
I duly supplied the requested information thinking maybe they will be in touch.
A week later absolutely dimly squat from them .
Not even a thankyou for supplying the requested information

Tom and Ben at Boots Opticians on Montague Road, Worthing, were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to help me.
I left with a perfect new pair of glasses, and my existing glasses had been cleaned and repaired too. I can now see perfectly!
A huge thank you as well to the lovely lady I spoke to on the phone, who kindly brought my appointment forward after I'd lost my only pair of reading glasses.

I have used Boots Opticians for many years in both Basingstoke and Andover, never having a problem. Unfortunately, having had a regular eye appointment in March of this year, and all seemed well, by June my vision seemed to have deteriorated and I was seeing double.
I went back had another very in depth test, which discovered I needed to have prisms added to my lenses.
The Opthalmologist, Priyal was so patient and thorough to make sure I got the right outcome. The rest of the team were also amazing and understanding and I can’t thank them all enough.
I should mention this was in Andover, I’d recommend them with our hesitation.

Unfortunately, my visit to Boots turned out to be a complete waste of time.
My eye test started promptly, and the initial part of the appointment went smoothly. However, everything changed when it became apparent that the member of staff in charge had misplaced my paperwork.
Instead of explaining the situation, apologising for the mistake, and politely asking if I would mind repeating the procedure, I was simply told to return to the examination room and start the process again—as though nothing had happened. No explanation. No apology. No acknowledgement that the inconvenience was caused by their own error.
Had the situation been handled professionally and courteously, I would have had no issue repeating the test. Mistakes happen. What I was not prepared to accept was being treated as though I should unquestioningly comply without even the basic courtesy of an explanation.
I declined to participate in that charade and left without completing the eye test.
A disappointing experience that reflected a lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for the customer.

I broke my glasses and as they are my only glasses needed to get a new pair, I visited boots at 06:30 with no appointment, not only did they serve me immediately but said they could fit the lenses in a new identical pair while I waited that is what I call service, fantastic all good 😊

I had an eye-test today in the Boots opticians branch in Braintree, Essex. I was most impressed with the level of service, great advice and attention to detail. The optician, Vip, was most personable and professional and he gave me a very informative explanation of the sort of glasses I needed. Another assistant, Georgia, was excellent in the way she helped me pick out the glasses I needed. I really appreciated how carefully she worked in getting things just right for me. A good team, I think.

The premises are dated circa 1980s / 1990s, and whilst we now have wifi (this took years to implement, mind you), the whole of the ground floor smells of damp and this hits you as you walk in, suggesting hygiene issues.

Equipment for close check-ups on the ground floor eg eye pressure measurement, was filthy - staff surreptitiously wipe the chin and forehead areas, but neglect the surface of the equipment directly facing the patient ie within a few cm from your face. These areas have NEVER been cleaned.

There now appears to be too many staff at the reception area - some are not versed in dealing with customers eg I had one staff member continuously shake his leg during a consultation. Aside from the body odour (interactions are with staff at close quarters, so this is important to note), the customer service skills on the ground floor need attention.

There used to be follow-up re-appointments when text messages were sent to your phone so you could add these to your calendar. For the past year, these messages have stopped. This meant I missed an appointment last month. Unsurprisingly, there was no further communication from Boots Opticians to check where I was. I find this very bizarre.

Having said this, the opticians have always been lovely and very professional.

However, I am taking my business elsewhere as I find the service, follow-up, and cleanliness problematic. My husband tells me he gets a far superior service at Specsavers. I am going to try this out!

I chose Boots Opticians in Romsey. I was served by Sam who had been excellent when serving my husband a few weeks earlier.
Sam was really helpful as I looked at various frames to have as a pair of vary focal glasses and pair of readers.
She was patient and respectful; I felt there was no rush in my choosing. When it came to the lenses and all the technical knowledge she was really excellent. I am excited to collect my glasses in a couple of weeks.

Oldham didn't bave a great range of frames whereas Manchester had a very lot. Understandable I know. Bigger store. One member of staff stood out her name was Rochelle. Very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable

Was seen by Carmine (Eye Test); Abi, Anna and Rory (choosing of the eyeware and ordering) and was very well and professionally looked after. Great job from all concerned

Excellent service, thorough testing and everything explained and showed results. Choice of frames and lens options also not rushed and was very patient with no rush.
