This company have taken a payment from my credit card that was not authorised or approved by me. The email ended up in my spam folder and was not found until I reported the fraud to my credit card company. They have now informed me that because the subscription, that I know nothing about, was not cancelled within 3 days they will not refund my payment. Absolutely disgusting business practice. I don't even play games so why would I subscribe!!! Just be warned if dealing with this company to ensure you check payments taken they are obviously not a professional company and out to rob people. Unable to rate at zero but that's what they deserve

I was charged by your company.it was unauthorised.

One star because they promptly cancelled my membership.

So these guys put up a false link for a gift card and said they were trying to verify my card details that the money paid for verification will be refunded once the card is verified. Immediately I put in my details, I got an email notification that I had just subscribed to brainstove, membership is free for 3 days and a whooping almost £40 afterwards. For something I didn't even know existed. I just aborted my gift card purchase.
Whether they are a legit company, I don't know but for them to trick people into membership this way is totally wrong!!!!!

Variety of nice games, they really help me make the most of my free time while also increasing my scores. It's a win-win;)

I think that the cost of the service justifies itself - both my son and I, when we’re bored, play from the same account. I read a lot of negative comments - I don’t understand them, the variety of games is huge! We haven't played even half of them in a few months.

Fraudulent site! Everyone should avoid them! I wrote to them but they refused, they took my money after several months of trying! "Thank you for your answer! Although I don't understand... I registered for the broadcast of an online sports event on a completely different website. I did not visit your site and had no intention of registering. Thus, at the age of 50+, I am no longer interested in games. I actually found the e-mail in the spam folder. Since I did not use any service, I do not consider it ethical to deduct the fee. Since the circumstances of the registration are very suspicious, and I do not consider the negative attitude demonstrated by you to be ethical, I will list you on the possible forums as a fraudulent and deceptive site. Maybe I will be able to prevent that, harm others!"

Brainstove have taken money from my account that i didnt agree to and wont give me a refund!!!! Do not trust or use this site!!!!!!!! Terrible customer service!!!!

The way this company operates to get subscriptions is not transparent and is inserted on the back of other links so that you believe you're dealing with something else altogether. The email with details of how to cancel is provided alongside them taking a months subscription fee so there is no window of opportunity to cancel before they take money. I don't like the way they operate. I would never take out a subscription like this hence my saying that there is no transparency at the outset. I have reported this to my credit card provider and cancelled my card. I have also requested a refund which, in the interests of the company's customer profile, I would hope that they will honour.

total con people they stole 38£out of my account when i can only just afford food atm. BEWARE SCAMMERS. they say i had an email to say i had asked for a sub,I HAD NEVER EVEN HEARD OF THEM LET ALONE REQUESTED ANYTHING. liars as I NEVER HAD AN EMAIL FROM THEM. Freche Antworten auf Bewertungen zu geben hilft nicht weiter! Ich denke, die zahlreichen negative Kommentare hier sagen genug über das Geschäftsgebaren aus. Ich warte seit dem 8.8.2023 immer noch auf Rückmeldung meiner Mail mit der Bestätigung der Kündigung (die ich ja nicht bewusst getätigt habe).

Hier handelt es sich um eine Betrugsmasche!
Über eine Social Media Plattform wurde ein Samsonite-Koffer für 1€ angeboten. Der Abschluss des Kaufs funktionierte mehrmals nicht und wurde immer wieder abgebrochen.
Für mich nicht ersichtlich wurde aber im Hintergrund anscheinend ein Abo über monatlich 38,95€ abgeschlossen. Hierüber wurde zu keinem Zeitpunkt informiert, eine Kündigungsfrist demnach nicht mitgeteilt, so dass der Abschluss rechtswidrig ist!
Die bisherigen Abbuchungen wurden meinerseits per Mail bereits reklamiert und ich hoffe, dass ich nicht noch rechtliche Schritte einleiten muss. Da brainstove zu keinem Zeitpunkt erwähnt wurde, hatte ich leider auch keine Möglichkeit, die bereits im Netz zahlreich vorhandenen Warnungen vor diesem Betrug zu lesen.

Brainstove has declared that I have subscribed on April and has stolen 38€:
It is FALSE!
They are thieves and I'm denouncing you to the police since you have stolen the data of my credit card.

If you don't rembourse me immediately with public excuses!!!

You've somehow taken £38.95 out of my account. I don't know who you are or what you do but it is an unauthorised transaction. Action is now in progress. I want my £38.95 returned! There is no reference on my Bank Account to say what this is for. I have sent an email too.
My Bank has refunded the fraudulent transaction amount by this company.

I am writing to address the unauthorized subscription charge of £38.95 made by Brainstove.com on my account on 22nd June. I downloaded what I believed to be a free game from your website, but I have not agreed to or authorized any subscription.

This charge violates consumer protection laws, including misrepresentation, unfair business practices, and breach of contract. The lack of proper disclosure and consent renders the subscription null and void. I have not received any communication or notification about this charge or the associated subscription.

I demand the immediate termination of my subscription with Brainstove.com and a full refund of the charged amount. The refund should be issued within 10 business days to the original payment method used.

Failure to comply with this request may result in legal action, including filing a complaint with consumer protection agencies.

I expect a prompt response within 7 business days. If I do not receive a satisfactory resolution, I will escalate this matter further.

Thank you for your attention to this issue.

Return my money ! on a false promotion, a subscription to your site was made! but when it is used, that fraudulently began to withdraw money from my account! I canceled your service the same day! But today the money was withdrawn from my account again! This is a fraud ! please return the money!

no one answers me from this company! I sent a letter to their support service on the site and in the chat on whatsapp! I sent all the screenshots (about the timely unsubscribe and the withdrawal of money from my account)! but there is no answer .... I am completely at a loss .....

This is a terrible experience. I paid post and packaging for a product and Brianstove dishonestly signed me on for a gaming service and charged me 3 times at £38.95 each time. I have never been on their site, and never wanted this service. After I was charged all this money, I "cancelled" the subscription I allegedly signed up for and have not been refunded money... money I did not agree to hand over in the first place. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

This company are nothing short of thieves. I cancelled my subscription within the 3 day trial period.
However on the 3rd day the took the unauthorised amount of £38.95 from my account.
When I queried this they denied that I had cancelled in time and refused to refund the amount stolen from my account. I spoke to bank and instructed them not to pay any further monies to Brainstove.com
Please Please Please don’t have any dealings with this bunch of thieves.

Auf der Internetseite kann Abo stornieren bekommt aber keine Rückmeldung. Dann nächste Abbuchungen.
Bei Rückmeldung nur bla bla und keine Beweise.
Ich zahle keinen Cent für keine Leistung

Ich kann mich nur den Leuten anschließen, die sich über Brainstove beschweren. Auch mir wurde Geld abgebucht, obwohl ich gar nichts bei diesem Unternehmen bestellt habe. Ich habe keine Nachricht von einer Kündigung (auch nicht im Spam-Ordner) bekommen. Das ist einfach Betrug.

I stupidly signed up for an offer thinking it was linked to B and Q. It was actually Brainstove fraudulently taking money from my account.
I don't expect to see the payment again. 3 days after reporting the issue to my bank and cancelling my card Brainstove attempted to take a further £38.95.

Das ist eine Abzocke. Ich kann mich den anderen Erfahrungsberichten nur anschließen. Auch ich bin einer Werbung für günstige Samsonite Koffer gefolgt und habe dabei gar nicht mitbekommen, dass ich nicht die Bestellung für den Koffer autorisiere sondern meine Daten für die Mitgliedschaft bei brainstove erfasse. Die Willkommensmail von brainstove ist dann bei mir im Spamordner gelandet, wo ich sie erst nach 3 Tagen gesehen habe. Meinen nschließenden Widerruf per Mail hat brainstove gekonnt ignoriert. Die 38,95 Euro wurden abgebucht. Die zielen auf alle Fälle darauf ab, dass man viel zu spät kapiert, dass man eine Mitgliedschaft abgeschlossen hat.
