Why the change to your Ecover washing up liquid bottle design that was so distinctive to find on the shelves and perfect for use? I have been using your products all my adult life (now mid 50's) but am for the first time looking for alternative. The new bottle is dreadful to use. Have had 3 of them so far and each and every one, despite ever careful use gets so slippery and sticky to the touch due to the liquid seeping from the nozzle and cap that is so badly designed that it is not fit for purpose. I also dislike the ugly pointless ridges but could ignore that if the liquid only deposited as it should. Very bad design, please change or I doubt I will be the only customer seeking alternatives. The new Ecover washing up bottle is a liability! It slips out of my hand and is too squashy. The litre bottle, especially, is hard to handle. The ridges should have been placed where it is grasped.
A previous reviewer who complained to Ecover recently said she was advised to lift the bottle with both hands!! How rude.
The new bottle might be more Ecological but it is definitely not Ergonomic!!
I have been using Ecover washing up liquid for many years, it's a great product, but I may not continue to buy it. Today I funnelled the liquid into the original bottle but I doubt I will have the patience to do that again.
Please rectify. Thank you.

I have been buying ecover washing up liquid for as long as I can remember and have always been very pleased with every aspect of its use.

This week, however, I discovered that the bottle has been changed. My first problem was that I could not locate it in Tesco supermarket. I had to ask an assistant, who also had trouble finding it. When we eventually located it I discovered the bottle has been changed to look like a bottle of water which I am sure could be an issue if you have young children in the household.

My main complaint however is that the bottle is weak, un-sturdy and slippery despite the grips on the bottle which have, for some reason, only been placed on the top of the bottle where you don't grip the bottle when picking it up.

The first time I used the new bottle it slipped out of my hand, knocked over my flower vase, causing a huge flood on my newly installed oak worktop which I had to quickly mop up to avoid serious damage. The second time I used it, it slipped out of my hand, into the sink, smashing two pieces of my Emma Bridgewater pottery.

I don't understand why such a good product has been changed to a product which is, quite frankly, a liability.

Update: Ecover replied to my complaint by telling me to try picking the bottle up with two hands as I would have more control !! They completely ignored the fact that their product is responsible for damaging my personal property. Appalling customer service and a very patronising response.
