This company is a joke. I had booked and paid for a journey at 1am on Sunday 13th September and it didn’t show up! I had 16 passengers waiting to get back to London. After hours trying to get someone on the phone, they finally sent a shuttle bus at 4am! 3.5 hours late, that is unacceptable.

I had a booking with Green Metro for my Office getaway trip. It was wonderfully handled by the team, right from booking to the travel. They have clean coaches and minibuses with Good drivers focusing on safety and a providing a good service.

I booked a coach for an early morning pick up (3.30am) to take my family to Gatwick Airport. There are 10 of us from 3 separate pick up points. I had the drivers contact details a few days in advance.
I expected a call on the morning of the pickup to let me know the driver was on his way but heard nothing. At 3.30am (the agreed pickup time) I rang the driver to check he was on his way. The driver did not answer his phone. I rang the office to check all was OK and was told the driver is a couple of minutes away. After 5 minutes there was no sign of the driver, I rang the office again to be told the coach would be there shortly. It did not appear. After a number of further calls I was informed there had been an issue with the vehicle when it was collected for the journey and a replacement vehicle had to be found. This would have happened around 3.00 am given the journey time to the first pickup point. I could have and should have been advised of the situation at this point out of courtesy and in case alternative arrangements had to be made. Instead, the company kept telling me the driver would be there shortly. This was clearly a stream of lies. After many calls and no sign of the coach, we decided at 4.15am, some 45 minutes after the agreed pickup time, to make our own way to the airport. Fortunately we had three vehicles available, fuelled and with sufficient luggage space, and three family members able to drive to the airport. We only just made our flight after a frantic and stressful journey.
The service was abysmal, unprofessional and compounded by deceitful explanations. This could have so easily ruined a family holiday which should have started with us all together having a relaxing journey and start to our holiday.
The company refunded my fee and offered me discount on a future journey. A future journey with this disreputable, shoddy organisation is no compensation at all. I will NEVER use this company and would NEVER recommend them to anyone. In fact, I would advise any potential customer to make every effort to find a different company.
I have asked for management to contact me to discuss the issue, but my emails have been ignored, hence I am writing this review to let potential customers know that this organisation should NEVER be trusted. Unreliable and potentially holiday ruining!!
