Thanks so much for your continued patience! The shipping mess that originated with the Suez Canal mishap is still causing cascading delays but we finally have a definitive container date from X-Treme.
The update we got from them is that their containers will be offloaded by the 5th of May. They'll be doing their best to ship all of the backordered bikes out to customers shortly thereafter. Your order puts you in queue for delivery and we are doing everything we can to expedite the process. Really, thank you so much for sticking with us. It's been a frustrating experience for all involved!
Also, I wanted to personally apologize to you about the charge issue. Unfortunately the way it works with our system and pretty much all of our colleagues is that credit card authorizations can only be held for 7 days for compliance. It's different with an online retailer like Amazon that saves your credit card information in your user account. If we could not charge your card until items are shipped we absolutely would. Most of the time it's not an issue because the bikes ship out much faster normally. This year has been a real doozy. Thanks so much for understanding!

Great people to work with !!!
I have no received my bike yet but let me tell you I have gotten prompt service!! As soon as I send an email with questions Jason has gotten back to me in a timely fashion and is very knowledgeable and helped me pick out the right bike for me. I can hardly wait for my new bike to arrive !! I highly recommend journey bikes !!!

They communicated quickly about the non availability of the bike I ordered and were prompt at responding to my response. They also got the bike shipped quickly and it arrived much earlier than their original estimate for delivery. Lastly, they were the best price found on the internet.

Never received basket
I'm happy with my bike which I received in a week but still have not received the basket for it 3 weeks later. I've reached out to customer service 3 times and all I've heard is he can't reach his nakto rep. I also tried emailing nakto but did not receive an answer back. I got tired of waiting so I ordered one through the nakto website and to my surprise I received it in 2 days. I'm hoping to get the $29 I paid for a basket that should of been sent out with my bike. Sorry Journey Bikes but you failed with this customer. Update-Thank you Jason from customer care for refunding my $29 and I'm much happier now.

Still no bike/no information
The purchase went smoothly. I preordered my bike and was told I would have an update. However I haven’t received any update and I’m becoming quite concerned as I have paid for my bike in advance. They said it would be available in April however it’s April 15th and still no idea if and when I will receive my bike. I put off writing this review hoping I would have my bike and more to review; however this is all I can say. Communication is key to happy clients.

Melanie, so sorry for the long wait. You have indeed been very patient. Honestly, we are trying to relay shipping updates from our manufacturers as soon as they are available, but this season this particular supplier has been completely slammed and have not relayed as timely updates to us as we would hope. I did chat with our rep this morning and although she informed me of yet another slight shipping delay, you should get the bike by the end of the month according to her estimate. Sorry for the inconvenience and we really appreciate your patience. I'm sure you'll love the bike once it gets there, it's a great one!

It's ok. I haven't received any word on the status of my orders. So kinda hard to share a review.
I did how ever order an extra battery and the younge woman that took my call was very nice and helpful.
Lookin forward to my new bike soon.

I have had a bike since November that…
I have had a bike since November that doesn't work did not work from day 1. After going back and forth w Journey and xtreme, being sent every part I thought possible, some being sent multiple times, because maybe the.new one they sent didn't work?! Who knows. Finally I took it to a bike shop who finally got it running w the original parts. Road it 10miles and the motor died! No word from xtreme and journey only responds to say xtreme is busy. I would never buy a bike over the internet again. What a rip off.

I purchased a pair of bikes from…
I purchased a pair of bikes from Journey, a 48v rubicon mountain ebike and a 36v classic cruiser for my wife.I think both bikes were very reasonably priced. The bikes were exactly as advertised and required only minimal assembly. That being said there were no instructions regarding this final assembly. Which requires front fork alignment as well as brake adjustments. Customer service regarding my questions about delivery and specifications before the purchase were excellent.
After final assembly I had additional questions about front fork preload adjustment and adjustments to the rear suspension, USB connection which the mfg had changed. My questions about suspension and fork adjustments have gone unanswered. This is the reason for the 4 rating.
