Really impressed with level of service from both Nishani and the staff supporting with the visual field test.

I have been in the care of Ms Nishani Amerasinghe for the last 6 months. Her care and attention have been superb in identifying if I needed treatment for potential glaucoma. All was explained and organised in appropriate detail and a monitoring programme set up for the future. Many thanks.

Ms Amerasinghe’s was recommended to me by another ophthalmologist who said that she would be well able to look after my cataract and glaucoma (she is an ex President of the UK and Eire glaucoma Society) and so it has proved. She has an excellent bedside manner, listens attentively and recently removed a cataract leaving me with very good vision and with minimal post operative symptoms lasting only 24 hours. I would be only too pleased to recommend her.

Ms. Amerasinghe was brilliant. Really thorough and professional examination of my eyes which thankfully showed no problems. I am always nervous about medical appointments and Ms. Amerasinghe was just so nice and friendly.

Ms Amerasinghe has been very thorough in checking my sight over the last 3 years and recently taken the trouble to write a very detailed report for the Southampton Hospital Neuro-oph Team in follow up to my recent MRI scan. I have full confidence in her professional abilities.

Ms Amerasinghe was able to clearly tell me the problems I had with my 5 year old cataract lens and was able to rectify it with a simple operation which has given me back excellent vision.

Nishani has provided excellent care throughout my journey with Glaucoma. The SLT laser procedure was professionally performed and very timely. I could not wish for better care.

Ms N Amerasinghe has saved my sight from anymore deterioration along with no more drops after almost 20 years of putting them in my eyes.
A wonderful lady who not only puts you at ease, she explains thoroughly what is happening with professionalism, fun & always a smile. Having had two ops, a pressure flow inserted into each eye today my eye pressure is where it should be. Thank you Dr Nish for your expert and attentive treatment for raised eye pressure in both eyes over past year. Her caution of ensuring eye drops being administered twice daily were not responsibly observed and pressure rose. She rightly warned of consequences and her caution was correct. Do as she says and not as you do. Now back on track. Thanks again Dr Nish.

In addition to her obvious professional credentials, she is charming, courteous and efficient & took time to explain as well as answer all my questions.
Her secretary is similarly friendly & efficient and the admin process is transparent and prompt.

I needed laser treatment to my eye. I had a consultation on Monday and the treatment on Wednesday. Very successful. All fitted in before I went away. The other eye will need treatment in the future and I will certainly go back to Ms Amerasinghe for it.
