Excellent care and attention carried out by Miss Nishani Amerasinghe and her staff. Everything was perfect and I now have wonderful eyesight. She is a very very clever lady. My thanks to her and all her staff.

Recently underwent cataract surgery on both eyes. Ms Amerasinghe was recommended to me and I am so pleased that she carried out my procedure. She explained the procedure very clearly and put me at ease. She is very caring, nothing was too much trouble and I felt safe and reassured throughout. She is very professional but in a kind and caring way. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

I have read all the other 5* reviews and I can only agree with them absolutely. Ms Amerasinghe is highly recommended. She is a charming eye surgeon with a lovely manner and I received quite excellent service for my cataract surgery. After 66 years of severe short sight I can now see very clearly without lenses - brilliant.

I have recently had both my cataracts operated on by Ms Amerasinghe at Wessex Nuffield Hospital. From the initial consultation through both operations Ms Amerasinghe was friendly, professional and put me completely at ease. All stages of the procedure were fully explained and the results were fantastic .

I was recently treated at the Nuffield Chandlers Ford by Ms Nishani Amerasinghe. She is a consummate professional and a most caring and compassionate surgeon. She performed a YAG Peripheral Iridotomy to both my eyes with a perfect result. At all times during the process she explained every step to me in a relaxed and calm way. She is a remarkable surgeon and an exceptional young woman. I consider myself so lucky to have been treated by her. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing treatment.

Ms Amerasinghe is a very personable and enthusiastic doctor, who gave me the best possible care whilst treating both my eyes for cataracts. I had every confidence in her throughout the procedures and count myself fortunate that I chose her from the three options that I was given by my insurance company.

A severe cataract in my left eye had rendered it sightless, whilst also affecting the vision in the other eye to a considerable extent. I chose Ms Amerasinghe from the list supplied by my insurance, based on her qualifications and reviews, which was my very good fortune. Her attendance on me was exemplary, which instilled complete confidence in her ability and that of her team. The operation went without any fears on my part, as has the recovery that I am now with full vision in both eyes and it is brilliant to be able to see again.

I first met Ms Amerasinghe a few years ago. She performed a Trabeculectomy on my left eye and an Aqeous Shunt Implantation on my right eye in Southampton hospital. I understand this is a very complicated operation. Both have been highly successful.I cannot praise her work highly enough.Without her I would probably have lost my sight by now.
I have complete trust in her capabilities.It is always a delight to see her for all my check-ups.In my opinion I could have gone to nobody better. I am very grateful I was recommended by a friend.

I have been a patient of Miss Amerasinghe for a couple if years where she has dealt with my glaucoma. She is a highly competent and very professional consultant. Over the last year I have had some other health issues but I have been able to approach Miss Amerasinghe who quickly answered my questions and made sure that I was seen promptly. Her clinical diagnoses and friendly manner leave me in no doubt that I would not have anyone else looking after me.

Ms Amerasinghe is so kind and patient I could not go to see anyone else. She understands my fears and calms me down with a gentle word of reassurance and a smile. I would like to commend Ms Nishani. I would call her my miracle worker. From the time I was referred to her, through every stage of my treatment and operation, she was the consummate professional. In addition I experienced her as kind, always smiling, no question was too challenging or too trivial for her. She calmed my fears. She was flexible, patient and understanding. I had cataract operations in both eyes in November and December 2019 by Ms Amerasinghe and I am extremely pleased with both the results and the way in with the operations were conducted.
Ms Amerasinghe was very efficient and also pleasant and caring in her dealings with me. I would certainly recommend her as a surgeon
for anyone requiring cataract treatment.
