Staff were polite
Staff were polite, rather a long wait for item ordered. Did not appreciate being forced into large amount charged for delivery, after nearly not ordering they said we could just have delivery and not all packaging removed, we are capable of doing this and don’t require anyone to do it whilst being made to pay, then the hard sell of protection, this adds hundred of pounds to your order, all I wanted was the sofa not added extras, just hope it gets delivered on time and is in perfect condition

Needed to find a carpet to match recently purchased furniture. Found everyone in the department extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, particularly Steven.

5 Star and Highly Recommend
Husband and I was shopping for a leather suite. There is a great selection of leather suites at Sterling Furniture in Tillicoutry. Lauran one of the sales staff was exceptional. Nothing was too much bother and she guided us to the best suite suitable for our needs. I would highly recommend Sterling furniture and the lovely person Lauren who is very experienced and knows her craft

Delivery times
Service was great in the showroom as I bought 2 x 3 seater leather sofas and tempur bed in march (we paid it in full ) was told I would be contacted when they would be delivered , Never thought i would not get my paid order until end of July ( 4 months later ) so beware on when you will get your order , I really thought it would be sooner

Not great.
Carpet fitting rescheduled- not met
Called 4 hours later onthe day of fitting only to be offered sincere apologies etc
Then told of factory issues/delivery/hiccups in the warehouse etc. Please, I’m not too angry about the fitting times as I was working from home but could see it be an issue for some. but just ke me in the loop.
And don’t tell stories to cover up the truth- just tell the truth, no excuses required!

Outstanding customer service
The member of staff who helped us understand, select, and buy a riser recliner chair was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and went over and above to help us get what we needed. He was a real expert and offered invaluable advice. Also the selection of these chairs available at Sterling was fantastic. Much better than every other store we visited. The chair was delivered to our family member within days and was exactly what they needed, they love it. I cannot recommend and thank Sterling enough. This is our third purchase from Sterling this year and we will now always go there first when looking to buy furniture.
Edit based on Sterling's reply: the employee I refer to in my review is Kerr at the London Road branch, who deserves the recognition.
