Our plans are designed to provide a structured, calorie-controlled approach to support healthy and sustainable weight loss. As outlined on our website, we do recommend complementing your meals with fresh fruit, vegetables and dairy to help keep you feeling full and energised throughout the day. We understand that this approach may not suit everyone, and we appreciate your perspective on this.

In terms of availability, while it is rare, there are occasions where a meal may be out of stock. In these instances, we will always substitute it with an alternative of similar nutritional value. However, if the replacement is not suitable, we are more than happy to arrange an alternative for you—our Member Support Team is always on hand to help with this via hello@janeplan.com.

We also appreciate your comments regarding communication around substitutions, and we will certainly take this on board as we continue to improve our service.

Thank you so much for your honest review — and well done for sticking with it for 10 days, especially with things like meals out and Mother’s Day in the mix. That’s not easy.

Feeling hungry early on can happen as your body adjusts, but it’s something we’d really like to help you with — you shouldn’t feel like you’re constantly struggling. It might be that we can tweak things slightly to better suit you.

And completely understand about going “off the rails” — that’s part of real life, not failure. What matters most is exactly what you said: starting again.

Congratulations on your weight loss, losing 9lbs in just two weeks is fantastic!

We’re glad you’re enjoying most of the meals. We understand that some dishes, like the Tex Mex pot noodle-style lunch, may be a bit too spicy for certain tastes. With over 80 meals available, you can change your menu between deliveries or use our Swap Up service to replace meals that aren’t quite right for you, so you can find the options you enjoy most :)

Thank you for your feedback – we’re sorry to hear the meals haven’t been to your taste. We do have a variety of over 80 meals to try and cater to everyone’s preferences, and you can also change your menu between deliveries or swap meals from a previous delivery.

To clarify, our lunches and dinners enter a pressure cooker just before being sealed and are then steamed to a high temperature to naturally preserve them. This process removes any food-spoiling bacteria, making the food safe and extending its shelf life without needing any preservatives or additives. This method has been used safely and successfully by the food industry all over the world for more than 30 years, which is why our meals can be stored at room temperature.

To clarify, all of the photos on our website and in our advertising are of real Jane Plan meals, often shown with added fruit or veg to give an idea of how they can be prepared at home.

We’re disappointed to hear the meals didn’t meet your expectations. We do offer a wide variety of over 80 meals, and you can change your menu between deliveries or use our swap service if there are dishes you don’t enjoy, so you can find options that better suit your tastes. We’re so pleased you’ve enjoyed the variety of meals, the ease of ordering, and the convenience of having portion control taken care of. It’s great to hear the meals have been easy to store and prepare too.

We’re sorry to hear some aspects didn’t quite meet your expectations. Our plans are designed to offer a convenient and flexible approach, and while the meals form the core of the plan, we do recommend adding fruit, veg and dairy to help keep you feeling full and energised.

In terms of the beef, we source all our ingredients from the best suppliers possible, and our lean beef comes from an approved supplier to an agreed specification. That said, as it’s a natural product, there can sometimes be a pocket of fat within the meat.

We’re also sorry to hear that some meals felt similar or lighter on meat than expected – we’ll be sure to pass this on to our team as we’re always looking to improve.
