The staff are all knowledgeable, friendly, extremely helpful and efficient. They exchanged and completed on the sale of my house in record time. I can't fault them and I would highly recommend them.

I found Porter Dodson last minute after being let down by my solicitor and needing to complete on a land auction purchase rather quickly. Steve and Laura at the firm have been wonderful, helpful and gave excellent guidance at a competitive price. I'm very grateful for their services and could not recommend them enough. From the 22nd October 2025, when I came to ask Porter Dodson for assistance with the sale of my home. I have been given nothing but quick and efficient work from Reena. Her emails have always been understandable. All questions have been answered with her confidence which enabled me to relax (if possible when selling). Excellent email assistance too from Beckie - as will phone calls with both. Reena Raval and Beckie Old were so easy to work with, all email enquiries were answered promptly, and the sale of our property proceeded very smoothly. It is the third time I have used this firm and can highly recommend them

Reena and Jennifer worked hard to keep us updated and explain in every detail the procedure of selling and buying. Reena replied by return any enquiries we came up against and was always polite and understanding She came over as a person who was on your side at all times.. It was useful to liaise via the Taunton office but it would have been nice to put a face to the voices

Our house purchase was handled smoothly and it was straight forward to work with Reena and Beckie. The conveyancing process can seem complicated with lots of legal jargon, but everything was explained to us in a easy to understand way.

All of our queries were anwsered promptly, we almost always had a response to our emails the same day, if not within half an hour or so which was really helpful and reassuring during the final stages of the process.

We'd heard from many friends who had purchased a house with online only solicitors that it was often difficult, if not impossible, to contact anyone; so having someone local who was easily contactable was really important to us.
